    He saved my life in 2006. I was in the emergency room and he was assigned to me. He has a genuine concern about his patients. He makes sure that we are doing well, if we have any issues and makes sure that we are healthy. The staff and the office are great. He is available.

    Dr. Patel is a nice person. It was easy to schedule an appointment to consult her. I have consulted her twice and both the times I had a good experience. I no longer use her services, as my medical insurance has changed, but, if required will use her services in future again.

    I have rheumatic valvulitis and she is treating me for that. Dr. Leonard is considerate and caring. She is matter-of-fact and comical. She puts me at ease when I do certain things which I am not supposed to do. So, she tells me to stop doing such things. She was the one who was very proactive in referring me to the orthopedic surgeon who did a knee replacement surgery on me. She noticed the deterioration in my knee and reduced the medications that she had me on. Her effectiveness of treatment is good, as I am not having any of the issues with my back that I was having years ago. The billing and administration is not applicable to her. It?s applicable to the hospital where she works at.

    Dr Buchfuhrer is my PCP. He began treating my mild hypertension beginning in 2007. I also see him for other ailments that come up. The subject visit was routine really. Unfortunately, unless your appointment is first thing in the morning or the first appointment after lunch, you're likely to have to wait past your appointment time due to various delays that occur throughout the day. My exam starts with a trip to the scale, then off to the exam room for an interview and a blood pressure check by the doctor's assistant. The doctor repeats the BP check toward the end of the exam just in case your first reading was articifically high. On this visit we discussed the results of a bloodwork lab test and he recommended a sleep study as a possible contributor to hypertension. He had dietary recommendations and issued me a new prescription. He has a good bedside manner and welcomes questions and listens to your theories. The staff is professional and matter-of-fact. They take care of my billing and ask that I surrender a co-pay at time of visit. They prefer not to bill me. They want to schedule you for your next visit while you're there (although it's four months in advance).

    Dr. Ayoub has Saturday hours and decent availability. He seems competent and made his personal cell phone number available in case of after-hours questions and concerns. However I have had problems with his business office, who said they had submitted our charges to insurance but we get a special letter whenever insurance turns down a claim and I've not received one. They are threatening to turn our account over to collections, despite that fact that I have contacted them on numerous occasions to find out why they never billled insurance but no one would pick up the phone during business hours and they never returned my calls. Our deductibles were always paid up front and they were given photo copies of our insurance cards at each visit. I did finally get someone on the phone two weeks ago, and they were borderline rude and threatened collections. No matter how good the doctor may be, I will not be dealing with them again.

    I self referred myself to Dr. Minkes when I suspected that I might have a hernia condition. I live in close proximity to the hospital and General Surgery medical group. There were three surgeons in the group. I had no previous knowledge of the general surgeon doctors, except for the research I performed on the internet and also the hospital's "referral" hotline where one of the hospital's nurses can recommend a doctor or surgeon to you. I selected Dr. Minkes because he had the soonest appointment available and the referral hotline nurses gave him many kudos. I have no regrets-- he quickly and authoritatively diagnosed my problem, checked the "other side" to see if I had a double hernia, and described in detail how he would fix the problem. I had standard tests performed three days prior to the surgery. This was my first surgery and first time being put under anesthesia. Although I was out during the surgery, I heard that it took longer for to fill out the hospital paperwork than it did to perform the surgery. The nurse/attendant staff were very good too. I had to wait in the pre-op room for a while too while they plugged in the "thingy" that the IV eventually gets plugged in to. My post op was fine too. Nice & easy wake-up and although I did not get a chance to meet with Dr. Minkes afterward, he did meet with my wife and gave her all the play-by-play details and further instructions. Since my surgery was on a Wednesday morning. I missed Thursday, Friday and I was back to work on Monday. He removed the stitches on a subsequent follow-up visit. I've had no problems to this day. Insurance picked up that tab for most of the service. I had co-pays, office visit charges, and hospital fees. Since Dr. Minkes accepted my insurance, there are contracted rates.

    She listens to you and she is willing to try different things. She is young and she is extremely pleasant. She communicates very well and she answers all my questions. Every time I go there she explains my test results.

    Dr. Asrat is a sensitive and considerate person. She has always listened to everything I have to say. She is reluctant to perform x-rays and prescribe medication because she does not like to expose you to that if it is not necessary. I am completely happy with her and I will continue to see her in the future.

    My experience with her has been positive. She is a pretty good doctor. She services both my wife and I. When we have labs, we get a follow up personal letter with the lab results, which has been unusual for Kaiser. She gives us encouragement and has a good personality. She also has good patient relations.
