    Cooper Window & Door
I initially had Cooper Window & Door replace the 6 front windows and a side garage door at my home to update the look and curb appeal to help in the pre-planned sale of my home. I began the process by replacing 2 windows at a time. Kevin Cooper came to my home, took accurate measurements, answered any questions, and kept me posted of the progress while waiting for the ordered windows to arrive. During each installation, Kevin and his assistants were punctual, neat, and professional. As summer began, I decided to finish 20 more windows and a sliding glass door. Kevin returned and took accurate measurements, answered questions I had, and gave suggestions and recommendations. I discussed doing a prairie grid on the remaining windows to match the ones I had done on the front. The design of the windows turned out great, and I got lots of compliments from friends. I was also amazed at the reasonable cost for the 20 windows and sliding door. We began the installation on the Fourth of July. Due to the amount of windows and glass door, it would take 6 days to complete the installation. Kevin, along with his assistant Kai, were punctual, professional, and worked in a timely manner to complete the projected daily list of windows needing to be installed. After completion, I was very impressed with the windows and the work completed. The Simonton windows and the work of Cooper Window & Door made my home look new and more energy efficient. They are much easier to open, clean, and have improved the value of my home. I was very impressed with Kevin and Kai and the work they did. I recalled a previous worker telling me how meticulous Kevin is in the work he does, and it shows. He always kept areas neat and tidy and picked up at the end of each day. Several of my older windows were picture glass windows, which had to be broken out in order to be removed. Broken glass was alway carefully removed, and tarps were laid down for protecting my property and home. Kevin also went above and beyond and did extra things like fix my front door from rubbing and install a door a painter forgot. During this time, I had several other construction and home improvement projects completed. Cooper Window & Door was, by far, the least stressful and the most reliable and dependable of them all. If you are in need of replacing doors and windows in your home and want someone who does exceptional work, I highly recommend Cooper Window & Door. Because of their great work and Simonton windows, I have decided to stay in my home and enjoy the view.

    Cooper Window & Door
Kevin at Cooper Windows and Doors is as good as it gets! Very professional, yet friendly and personable. Communication was on spot from the estimate to the finished install and product. Started with 3 windows, but ended up adding another window and french doors with sidelights. We LOVE our doors and windows! Highly recommended family owned company.

    NRG - Pros
Basically very well. The owner, Jesse, is extremely accessible and gave a great presentation. Any time I had a question or issue I called him and he answered immediately. There was a little delay with the measuring of the windows and the installation date, but the windows are great and the installation team was professional and got them installed in one day. I would recommend them. They are a relatively new company and the owner is working really hard to ensure satisfaction.

    Quality First Home Improvement Inc.
First, let it be known that Quality First solicited US for business- not the other way around! One evening, while painting my front room, a canvasser from the company knocked on our door; wow! do I regret ever answering that door!!!! Long story short, after three visits and a very LONG sales pitch which involved at least a forty page portfolio, we finally agreed to sign a contract to have our house painted. The price was significantly more than what we expected, but because of the presence of lead paint - as well as being lied to and told that the paint would have to be removed to the bare wood was exposed - we agreed on a price of 40,941 for the job. Of course, it didn't help their cause when Oleg threw in a manipulative little statement that was reminiscent of some of the things I used to hear from my mother: "two employees in addition to the canvasser have invested numerous hours in bringing this contract to the table; how could you just back out now?" I let that little bit of unprofessional sales behavior go, but I did not forget it. Now, I see that it is probably pretty representative of how they deal with customers. Since then, we have spent countless hours choosing paint colors, not to mention completing a goodly amount of prep work in anticipation of finally getting this job done. Needless to say, Covid 19 has slowed things down considerably, but we continued to rest assured that all was well; after all, we had a signed contract with a professional company. Well, boy was that a stupid assumption! Today, Chris called - amiable, "born to be a salesman" Chris who did all the right things to connect with us, right down to telling stories about his baby at home - and informed us that they had low-balled our quote and would need another $25,000 ( an additional 61%!!!!) to complete the job! Supposedly this diamond rated company doesn't have the proper equipment to paint a Victorian (one might ask then, why were they canvassing our neighborhood???), and the extra cost would be necessary to secure the proper scaffolding. Are you kidding me? That is almost 50% more - on a price that was unbelievable in the first place!!! You can bet that we reminded them that we have a contract; we reminded them that from our dining room table, Oleg phoned the owner/president of the company to go over numbers before we ever signed; and we also reminded them that they had a legal obligation to eat the extra cost. What we didn't say was that we believe that this deserves a visit to a lawyer, and we will be doing so at our first opportunity! Chris and Oleg: you lost out today on a lot of future sales! We live in a pocket of historic homeowners who are in constant need of home repairs, and we were prepared to tell everyone what we knew of you - what nice guys you were; how honest you were, blah, blah, blah. As of today, however, we will shout to the moon that your diamond certified company -apparently diamonds are not what they used to be! - does not uphold its contracts!
