    IVERSON TREE SVC
We hired Iverson's Tree Service for removal of two Monterey Pines and the stumps. The workers showed up on the date agreed upon and did an amazing job taking down the trees. We where in awe just watching them at work. It took a little while for them to come back for the stump removal, but did a great job with that too! We chose Iverson's because there pricing was competitive with other estimates and we encourage all to at least get an estimate from them.

I’ve been very happy with them. Usually, they came out twice year. The area looked very good when they were done with the trees. They do a good job. They chipped all of the debris and hauled it off.

    PAUL SUJAN TREE CARE
I have used Paul's services for approximately ten years now and It would be difficult to praise him highly enough.  He is fair, flexible, professional, efficient, thoughtful, thorough, a good businessman and a complete gentlemen.  I mention this last quality because after having been a homeowner for over 20 years, I've lost count of the  men who have invited themselves over for dinner, suggested doing a painting job when I hired them as a gardener, etc. etc.  Not Paul.  He does the job he was hired to do and never lingers.  His prices are the lowest I have encountered and he offers to lower them even more if one does part of the work.  For example, he will stack a cord of wood for $50, but if you do it yourself, he'll take that off the price.  We're lucky to have him here on the Peninsula.
For this last job, he cut up a tree that PG&E felled and left on my mother's property.  He cut it into pieces small enough that people could cart them off and left them on the edge of the property.  As arranged, he then cut up a cord's worth into fireplace-sized pieces, brought them to my house and stacked them in the backyard.

On 11/3/12 we paid a deposit of $150.00 to have our driveway cleaned, all cracks filled, and all sealed. After a few failures to arrive as scheduled, on 12/12/12 they came and cleaned the driveway with a power washer. They were in the yard all day to do this. Spent a lot of time walking around the yard talking on the phone. At Jesus' request, another $134.00 was paid, to pay for the filler needed for the cracks. They were to return that week to fill the cracks (allowing driveway to dry). They left one of their work trucks in our driveway without asking permission. My husband chose to let it slide.
It's been too long to be very precise about any more dates, but after more failures to appear on agreed dates/times, the crew returned to fill the cracks. Again spent all day, with lots of comings-and-goings, and as it turned out did not complete that part of the job. Mid-way through that day after seeing my husband drive away Jesus came to me asking for more money. I declined. Said he'd have to take it up with my husband. When finished, they left behind the work truck, the sealant mixer, the power washer and several tools. Again without asking.
Several tries again to get them to return to do the sealing. They came with more equipment, dropped it in our driveway, left one lone worker behind while the rest of the crew left. That person set to work on some (very loud) repair project on some piece of their equipment. I had to ask multiple times to get Jesus to come back, and to get the guy to stop. Jesus returned saying he couldn't do any work until whatever the malfunctioning part was was fixed. They left that day not only leaving their equipment again, but a lot of broken glass all over our driveway.
They never finished the job. The came and removed their property at times when we were not at home. We called and called. Whoever was answering the phone acted like they did not know who Jesus was. But it's still the same number you have listed here.
    Hard lesson learned.

    Fischer Construction Inc

Just as he did for his previous renovation project, he took such care with passion and integrity.  My favorite is the gas fire pit.  I showed him a square cereal bowl and told him that is the shape of the fire pit that I would like to have.  In the matter of a month or so, I had a fire pit, even better than how I pictured it, yes in the shape that I wanted, matching nicely with the beautiful stone walls in front of the house that Butch recently worked on.  This is what I like about him and the reason why I cannot go with anyone else when it comes to designing. He really wanted to know what I like, had me drive around look at different landscapes, research about what sort of plants I like, then discussed with me various times as both Butch and I came up with new ideas to incorporate to the project.  I watched what I pictured in my mind become real.  It was very uplifting process.  I can say the same about the remodeling project.  I feel a sense of ownership and closeness to everything that Butch worked on as he let me get involved in the process of it from the beginning to the end.  I am still mesmerized by the beauty and perfection of his work.  Consider yourself lucky, if you can manage to get him.  Good luck with your project!

    WILLIAMS TREE SVC
They were skilled at their job, very responsive to my requests, and easy to work with. They were careful not to damage our buildings or vegetation and they cleaned up all branches and debris before departing.  Furthermore, Dennis Williams provided a lot of useful information about our trees.  We will certainly use their services again.

They were very knowledgeable and professional and helped me to decide how much work I needed to have done, and which trees could have Roots trimmed without harming the trees. Their price was in line with the other Bid I received from another company which did not seem to know as much about trees.

    SMITH TREE SVC
Brian Jacobson, the owner of Smith Tree Services, was referred to us by our next door neighbors. They had a large oak which was predominately hanging over the property line into our yard, which needed attention. Brian arrived to assess the situation and informed the neighbor and me that anything that was over the fence/property line was actually my responsibility! He made a couple of recommendations regarding the tree, and said he would send me an estimate, as well as the neighbors were having him do some other work on their oaks on their property. This was late spring of 2013,
Got the estimate in a timely fashion with a couple of options of pruning of the tree to relieve it of a lot of weight and prolong its life. There was also talk of putting in a sunken pier block and a 4and quot; x 4and quot; post to shore up the tree.
We decided to go with aggressive pruning and no post, so once the work was completed, Brian adjusted the price accordingly.
The crew was fast, courteous, and professional. As they trimmed up the tree on our side they hauled the brushy parts out to the driveway so they could chip it up. This made a pretty good trail of leaves and other debris - and when they were done, they completely cleaned my ENTIRE driveway! I was blown away by this nice act!
Additionally, the neighbors did NOT want the oak firewood being generated, so they asked if I wanted it - oh heck yeah! - and Brian had his crew bring it all over and drop it in my driveway. It ended up being a LOT of wood!
I was very pleased with this entire encounter and told Brian that the next time we needed something done I'd contact him. Little did I know it would be sooner rather than later - on 8/10, one of our double-trunked oaks took a notion to fall down, right across my car parked in my driveway. We did not want to cut it until the insurance was set in motion, and it was a Saturday, so waited until Monday and put a call in to Brian. I left a message with a brief description of what had happened and he called me back within 10 minutes. He wanted to know the details, and when I told him, he said he'd call his crew and get right back to me. It was less than 3 minutes before he called again and said the crew would be here in 15 minutes!
They actually pulled into my driveway about 10 minutes later, assessed the situation, and got to work, being very careful not to further damage the car. Less than an hour later, the tree was cut off the car, the branchy stuff chipped and hauled away, and again they used the blower to clean up the driveway. Brian had also arrived to see what was going on and made some recommendations about the other oaks in the immediate vicinity, as well as determined that another one had a rotted base and was in imminent danger of falling, so they removed that one as well.
I will not hesitate to have them here for any tree-related needs. Brian is very knowledgable, professional, and personable, and his crew is the same way. The prices seem very reasonable and I am a happy customer!

    SMITH TREE SVC
This was the fifth time we've used Smith Tree Service. Brian, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He will not recommend work that is unnecessary. His crew is well trained, efficient, and courteous and Brian makes sure the work is completed to the customer's satisfaction. I would recommend Smith Tree Service to all. I will be calling them again soon to schedule trimming before the storm season.
