We set-up an appointment, but Cody finished his preceding job earlier than expected. He phoned us 1/2 hr. before our scheduled time period and asked if he could come 1/2 hr early. AC & D LocksmithJohn from C&D was able to come do the work within 30 minutes of my call. On a Saturday! At first he tried to pick the lock and worked hard at it, but the lock's age and wear made it impossible. So, he replaced the lock (with my concurrence). New lock works great. Very responsive, courteous and efficient service. I would definitely use C&D again.

AChoice Locksmithing & Security IncJeff showed up on time and was professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. He made several recommendations without any pressure to replace the old locks with new locks. With my decision to proceed with the changes, he replaced 1 deadbolt and installed another deadbolt. He changed the cylinder combination on 9 lock and 1 Mortise cylinder. He did a GREAT job. I plan on using his service to replace the locks on our rental property.

He charded me by the hour but in hindsight I should have agreed on a cost for the job. He came on a Sunday and didnt charge me at the overtime rate which another party quoted.

ALocksmith CentralI had recently bought a condo and wanted all the locks changed. Harry was very flexible and worked with me to come out as soon as possible, but when I would be home. He spent extra time to take apart the lock on the patio slider so the lock would work more smoothly. Harry was very personable and the quality of his work was excellent. It's been 6 months and all the locks he worked on have been perfect. I would use him again without hesitation as well as highly recommending him to anyone needing a locksmith.- Tom K.

CLa Jolla Lock and SafeVery badly. Every service call required that I miss work, which is difficult for me. On the first visit the technician verified that the lock was broken and told me that they would need to special-order a new one. I asked how long it would take, and he said probably a week or two. That began a series of miscommunications, culminating in a phone call after about a month in which the woman who seemed to be in charge of the office informed me that she had never heard of me and certainly the order hadn't been placed.
That was followed after a couple of days by a phone call from the technician saying that the lockset was sitting on the shelf in the office and had been there the whole time. We made an appointment for him to install the lockset, he showed up close to on-time, and did the work--except that the lockset grabbed our key (some worse than others) so the door would end up unlocked with a key sticking out of the door on the outside. The technician returned and said, yes, the lock was grabbing the key. He tried to remedy the problem, and made some progress, but it still happens.
I like the looks of the Baldwin lockset, and the first one we had was wonderful and lasted something like 15 years until a tiny part in the interior of the lock broke. I still like the looks of the replacement, and my husband and I have learned to live with its shortcomings, but the service from this company was terrible. I say and quot;caveat emptorand quot; to anyone who is considering hiring them.- Kathleen F. -
