    Kitchens Plus
Below is an honest review of our experience with Kitchens Plus that outlines the advantages/positives and areas of improvement.  Most importantly I am planning to use Kitchens Plus (KP) for future projects and would recommend Kitchens Plus to my Family, Friends and neighbors.
We are 100% Satisfied with the professional work completed by Kitchens Plus
One of the differentiators of KP (which stood out from other bids) was the upfront design time (before any contract or money changed hands).  Personally, this was a major benefit which led us to choose KP
I think its worth noting that KP is NOT your typical General Contractor.  I always was able to contact somebody in person, many times that was the owner or the GM. I had access to both email and cell phones.  Very rarely did we get voice mail and when we did it we got a return response within a reasonable time frame.
We were super impressed with the everyday workers, very TRUST WORTHY and friendly.
The Owner and GM made frequent trips to our house to review progress.
KP was not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive. I would characterize the estimate as a "Fair and Competitive" bid.
KP met their proposed budget with challenges. With any project there are unknowns, and the Kitchen's Plus Team really took the time to explain the uncovered unknowns and provide pro's and con's.
If I had to offer areas of improvement: (What project is perfect?)
In terms of timing, KP met their contractorial obligations, however as a home owner we would have liked it done before those timelines. (who wouldn't)
KP used third party contractors in some areas, I would recommend KP as well as home owners to review in detail the work completed by the contractor.  While we are satisfied with the  final product, it took additional call backs to meet our expectations. The important take away here is that KP will  " MAKE IT RIGHT".  You will hear that phrase when working with KP. If it doesn't meet your expectations they will "MAKE IT RIGHT" .
To re-iterate, this is an honest and trueful experience we had with Kitchens Plus and I would expect nothing less from a new engagement. The point of this review is to inform future home owners the value (both in craftsmanship and General Contractor services ) Kitchens Plus provides and   I would not hesitate to  use Kitchen's plus again, nor would I have any reservations recommending Kitchens Plus to my friends and family!

    Danilo Nesovic Designer & Builder
It's been a long time since Dan remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms but we still enjoy and appreciate the design and practicality he gave us.  We had some ideas, but Dan suggested many things we would never have thought of ourselves.  We particularly appreciate his idea about having lots of arm's length storage in the bathroom and not too much counter space to collect clutter.  The two sinks are cantilevered from a narrow counter, creating more floor space.  Next to each sink is a tall cabinet where we can stash everything.  The cabinets have electrical outlets for the radio, shaver, hairdryer, and now even the i-phone!  Since our master bathroom is also our dinner guests' bathroom, this ability to keep the clutter hidden at all  times has been wonderful.  Dan is also an artist with lighting, using techniques that make the space seem larger than it is.  Over the years we have made a few changes, updating to LED lights in the kitchen, for example, but we operate within the framework Dan gave us.

Apart from the end results, we have to commend Dan for his totally organized approach to the whole remodeling job.  He made sure we made our choices of fixtures and colors in plenty of time so that there were no hold ups in the construction.  He helped with those choices by recommending brands and referring us to sources of materials, making pleasant what might have been a stressful time.  The written contract was formal and clear and every step of the schedule went smoothly and on time.

We recommend Dan highly for his knowledge, skill, experience, and just as importantly, for his friendly and helpful demeanor.  Diana and Immo Scheffler

    CCM Enterprises
I was very impressed by the quality of their work and their attention to quality. What really impressed me is that during the job, which lasted one full day, a quality control person came in and inspected their work. He went over all the details of the job, even asking if the crew were nice with me. I now recommend them to everyone.

Initial contact was John Campbell (10/4), who was courteous and knowledgeable (NO hard sell---what a relief from other companies! After signing agreement, down payment of 10% was paid, and later the rest in measured installments. PK's Tom Hoffman did final measuring (10/9). Start date was 11/6. Because of PK's credentials, I felt comfortable having them do most of the work while I was away in Panama for two weeks. When I returned 11/14, cabinets doors were roughly in, plywood bases ready for new counters, & plumbing fixtures temporarily installed so I could use them. Counters were installed Nov 21 and job signed off on Dec 1, after some tweaking with finish work and adjustments that were needed, which PK (Allen and Zack) happily did for me. Subcontrators CCM also very conscientious about doing a good and thorough job. Tho there were some communications problems with PK, I was still quite happy with the job and the people who worked for them or subcontracted with them.

Went very well, professional staff, on time as specified, broke a sink while removing it, but replaced it at their own cost and without being asked to. Came back to fine tune one cabinet door without charge and after hours.
