Those people are good. I see my primary care physician in Davis and I also have referral medical people that I see at their major facility in Sacramento.  They are good and responsive. I get my flu shots there since they have a program for that. They have a facility for doing their lab work of various types. For me it is very convenient because the doctors and all the work is very available efficiently. The doctors can readily know what the state of my system is when I go in for an appointment. The doctors are friendly and attentive. They have a good system over in Sacramento if I am referred for more complicated problems. I have my mammogram and other specialty processing in Sacramento.

Excellent. I was suffering a flare up related to the medical condition for which I was being treated. Although preferable, the nature of the visit (a half hour and quot;check inand quot;) did not strictly require a face-to-face appointment. Given the flare up, the clinical psychologist helped me arrange a phone check-in; therefore, my flare-up was not made worse and the appointment was still completed, providing the benefits

My wife also goes here for cancer treatment. They work together as a team. The nurses are really good and they are the foundation of the medical center. They are busy, but if I have an emergency, I can get in sooner. We have been very happy with their bedside manner.

Turned out to be more of a Kaiser scenario...a clinic format but with a physician assigned specifically to me. Actually I was seeking a specific doctor based on my research and this is where he was. I may yet seek a private practice MD but for the moment I am perfectly happy with this medical group.

He asked if I could be seen and they said one week but they could get him in if I registred as a new patient. They told him that they would try to get me in that day. The person went away and never came back to give him an answer so he told the front desk that he was going to seek care someplace else. He had already waited fro the person to come back for over 15 minutes. He went to CHW and was see immediately. He felt the front desk staff was rude. A couple of days later he gets a letrer in the mail that said he missed his appointment when one was not set up and if he missed 2 more appointment they would discontinue him as a patient, Amazing. I then called Suitters corporate offices to tell them about this. soemone called back and never even asked what the aptient's name was nor the date. They said they would let the facility know. If they did not know the patient's name how would they know what happened. I felt I was just getting the brush off from the corporate office.I have had similar expereinces with Sutter West. The front office staff is so rude. The doctors tend to be good but the front office is so untrained. I was asked the last time I went in if I was still taking a drug after two years. The drug was an antibotic. Any idiot would know that you do not take antibotics for over two years. I am also alergic to Sulfa Drugs and the last time I was there they prescribed a drugand I went to the drug store picked up the medicine and when I got out of the store I realized the drug had sulfa in it. I coudl not return the drug as I had walked out of the store. I called the facility and they did call me back to tell me it was a software issue but never volumteered to reimburse me for the drug that I had to pay $62.00. Do not know if the software issue got corrected or not.

I think that the local practice is very convenient, efficient and it is easy to get appointments with the local people. I think that they are extremely efficient. The billing and administration with them is all seamless.

She is very good. I don?t think she is taking new patients. Her availability can be tricky. If we are going in for a general checkup, it can take a really long time. However, if we are calling with a problem, they get us in fairly quickly. If a person is not a regular patient and is trying to establish oneself, it can take a long time. I will continue to see this doctor in the future.

She was the best doctor I have ever had. She spent time with me, asked questions and did everything that a primary care doctor should do. I work in that field, so, I was always aware of things. I do not see her anymore because my health insurance has changed now, but, if I get a chance I would definitely see her again.

Dr. Garforth is very personable. She wants you to ask questions. She actually helped to track a few different skin cancers. She keeps me informed about test that need to be completed such as a mamogram.
