  • Jeff was recommended to us by the mortgage lender that we used to sell our prior home. We were relocating to the San Ramon/Danville area, and needed a realtor who knew the area. We were lucky to find Jeff.  He met with my family and listened to our needs. Jeff showed us several homes, and he clearly understood what we were looking for. We found several houses that we loved. We lost two bids and were about to give up, or at least take a break. But Jeff did not give up on us. He
    sent us listings, met with us almost every weekend to show us places, and even called around a neighborhood we were interested in to see if anyone was going to sell soon. Jeff?s tenacity is one of his strongest traits. He would not rest
    until he helped us find a home that we loved.
    His customer service is wonderful. Whenever he would mention meeting with another client, we would pause for a second because we completely forgot that he had other clients. When he was with us, he would have complete focus on our issues, and would never be distracted. He knows our time is important, and would never be late for an appointment.
    Jeff clearly shows that it is important for him that we are happy with our decision. He wouldn?t let us finalize the closing of our home until he was sure that we would be able to renovate the place to our satisfaction. He gave us recommendations for contractors and even helped us negotiate with them to make sure the projects would fit in our budget. And if we had any issues with the contractors, he worked tirelessly to make sure the issue would be resolved. We could tell that he would not be satisfied until we were happy with the house we purchased.
    Jeff is amazing. He is dependable, trust-worthy, honest, hard-working, friendly, dedicated, and an overall great guy. You will not be disappointed choosing Jeff to help you find your next home.

  • Bernard recently helped us purchase a home in the Bay Area while we were living on the East Coast.  He was always available by phone and answered his email quickly as well.  Because we lived so far away, we initially asked him to show houses to my family members, which he was happy to do even though that meant some extra effort to coordinate with them.
    Bernard always took careful note of which properties were interesting to us from and added his own suggestions, invariably good options based on what we had told him we wanted.  He has a lot of experience as a full-time
    realtor, and his assessments of houses was spot-on.  He is quite relaxed but was happy to offer useful opinions when we asked.
    When we finally found a great place, Bernard helped us through the negotiation process. He had sensible advice for us when we wanted an opinion about putting together an attractive but reasonable offer. Negotiations went smoothly, even from a coast away and with some back-and-forth through the seller agent.
    Finally, based on the inspection process, I am convinced that he knows or knows of every contractor in the East Bay. Although I initially thought that I would want to choose my own inspectors, I am glad we went with his recommendations.  He always got
    us in touch with an inspector or contractor who could make our job a priority and seemed to know his business (the guy who did the whole house inspection especially impressed me) which made the house-buying process much easier.

  • Tom was great to work with on a purchase and listing transaction.  He started showing us homes and had us into contract for purchase in two weeks.  Tom made this easy even in a tight lending environment.  Two years later we hired Tom to list our house.  This was the first time my wife and I had ever listed a home for sale and were unsure of the process.  He helped us get the home ready for sale and made us comfortable moving forward putting it on the market.  Our home was in contract within two weeks and sold 30 days later.  Tom is a great professional as he listens, explains everything, and is always available.

  • She is pretty efficient and responsive. She is easy to work with. She takes care of the problems fairly quickly. She has a lot of information, so I didn’t feel like left in the dark. We paid around $35,000 to her and that is about 5.5% of the value of the house. She is pretty well organized. She works with her husband and he takes care of the web-related communication. We sold our old house and got the new house pretty quickly. She responds to everything whatever we ask. If you send an e-mail asking any question, she will respond you within few hours. If you needed to meet her, she will schedule the appointment right away, so you can go and talk to her face-to-face. If needed, I would use her again in the future too.

  • As first time but highly informed and involved buyers, we had high expectations and standards - all of which Tom met. He helped us search for a house for approximately 9 months before we found one that fit our specific profile and was priced reasonably. Some issues arose at the end of the transaction and he was very responsive in trying to get these problems rectified. If only we could say the same for the selling agent... this contrast in professionalism only further highlighted to us the importance of going with someone who is not only as experienced as Tom but highly ethical and responsive as well.

  • Various issues arose and rather than working in good faith to resolve those issues, he went AWOL. Our own agent was shocked by how unresponsive Mr. Bauer was to repeated calls and messages by our agent. It appears he simply hoped he could ignore the problems and they would go away. Incredibly unprofessional. Would never enter another transaction of any type with Bauer involved.
