  • I have known her for about 30 years. I've had some animals in the past that had surgery. I think she is a really good surgeon. One of my little cats had a glaucomic eye, and it was really huge and I think she was in a lot of pain. That was typical of all the kinds of surgeries that she does. Any time I had a cat in there for surgery, I think she is an excellent surgeon. I have gone to them for years. I've never had a problem. I tried other veterinarians but I always went back to her. She is pretty good. I think their prices are competitive. This is Danville, and it is an expensive town. They think that everybody is from the Blackhawk Country Club. She is right next to the Blackhawk Country Club so she is competitive. She gets me with me within a day. Veterinary offices can be a bit messy, but I've never had a really big problem.

  • Four Paws Veterinary Center is really good. We use them all the time. They're super, super nice. The care that they give to the animals is the best. They really treat the animals like the animals are their own. They willing to keep your animal overnight, if they need to. They work with you on your pricing. Everything about them is just great. I think they're owned by a couple. They called to check up on my dog a couple of days after I had taken him there. You have a really personable experience with them. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else.

  • I just had a baby and am not able to walk my dog, Baxter as much as he's used to so I hired Barbara (HikePups) to take him out for me each week.  I really enjoy having her take care of Baxter and he just loves her (and he hasn't loved all of my previous dog walkers in the past).  When she comes to the door, he flies outside without a second glance in my direction.  I love seeing that.  She sends me pictures of them walking (which I appreciate) and is very punctual and professional.  She's licensed, bonded and certified and I know if anything happened, she'd be able to take care of the situation without a problem.  I wholeheartedly recommend her services and think she's such a nice person. She's very honest and has a great vibe about her.  Thanks Barbara for taking such good care of Baxter, my 2nd baby. :-)

  • Dr. Smyrni and her staff are always very professional and make you and your animal feel at home the minute you walk in the door. All their clients get roomed right away, which is so nice for those animals that easily stress out. The appointment started on time and ended on time - they always do. And I also appreciate how my receipt can be emailed to me.

  • We arrived about 5 min late for a last minute appt that was scheduled the week before and waited about 10 minutes to be called in. Both our dogs were weighed, as is usual, then we went into a waiting room. The assistant came in and asked all the pertinent questions. Then we waited for the Dr. Shortly thereafter she came in and checked our dogs up and down. She also sat down on the floor to be level and play with them. They received their injections, we paid for everything, got their food and we were out the door. We've seen 2 of the Vet's at different times and both seem to be interested in the condition and health of our pups. They take their time and thoroughly examine our dogs. Everyone in this office is Super Friendly!! This Veterinarian was referred by a long time friend and so far they have met or exceeded our expectations!!

  • The dogs come home exhausted and clean. The staff are wonderful and they love the dogs and they are so professional. They are expensive like $40 a day per dog. I have two dogs it is $70 a day for two. I would use them again in the future. I would never ever take my dogs anywhere else.

  • This was a repeat visit because my dog still had a urinary infection after first medication. Doctor did a more extensive work up and the new medication seems to be working well. Dr. Arnott always follows up to see if the treatment is working and has taken excellent care of my 14 year old dog.

  • We are always there in the middle of each quarter. The price varies from $75-$200. The primary vet is Dr. Krone. We've known him through 3 dogs. He has always taken very good care of our dogs and he is very good with them. He is very professional. He is very soft hearted as many vets are, and he would soon spend a fortune to keep a dog alive for 3 months as not, as long as it is not suffering. He is not inexpensive, but as seniors he gives us a 10 percent discount. He is very responsive during the week but it is very difficult to get a response from him on weekends although we did have a problem in June. Our dog was poisoned and we discovered it on a Sunday afternoon. I could not get him for over an hour so we took our dog to the emergency vet hospital. He did call me on my cell phone while I was with the vet in the emergency clinic. It was a weekend and he did respond so I can't complain. They are pretty punctual when we take our dogs in.

  • They were extremely expensive. It was over $500 to feed him some charcoal, check him out and keep him for about 6 hours. They seemed very thorough; that's probably why they run up the price so much. They are an emergency vet so people don't go there unless they are very concerned about their pets and I think they take advantage of them. They are responsive. They are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We were there for probably 3 hours; we had to leave him and then come back. There are several emergency vet hospitals so we might try another one if we needed one.

  • I like the two main vets, Dr. Wraith and Dr. Tanner. They are good, although I don't use them a whole lot because I have young dogs. They are priced better than some other vets that I have gone to. The only bad thing about them is that they are pretty far away. I think I would continue to use them in the future.
