  • We discussed the lab results, talked about what I need to do to get a couple things under control and completed a couple of additional things for the new patient exam that hadn't been done by our previous doctor for quite a while.  I really like Dr. Hudson's bedside manner, her knowledge and thoroughness.  She's easy to talk with and I didn't feel rushed.  She really cares about her patients.  The staff are great too.

Dr. Hudson had been working in Walnut Creek as an internist with a focus on sports medicine but recently moved to Danville and opened Danville Sports Medicine and Primary Care.  The thing that caught my wife's attention was Dr. Hudson saying she's interested in creating a medical home for her patients.  Based on what I've seen so far, I think she's achieved that with her approach to medicine, her staff and her new office environment.

  • It went great!  The surgery was a success.  Dr. Kerlin explained everything very well.  She has a great bedside manner and is definitely an excellent surgeon.  With the exception of the actual surgery I have been present at all of the doctor visits and Dr. Kerlin did an excellent job communicating with my wife and with me - she was definitely very concerned for the both of us.  She's also been excellent with the follow-up visits as well.

  • He seems pretty good. I am pleased with him so far. He has a couple of other additional specialties so I recommended him to my mother who is in her 80's because he is a geriatric specialist as well as an internist. He's had a lot of experience around the world as well in practicing medicine. He seems like a very nice guy and he's very thorough. The physical was very thorough so I think he's pretty serious about what he does. He just seems to be more conscientious. I only had 2 visits. I don't know him that well but I only heard good things about him. He has been in practice for quite a while. He was there all the time. He seems pretty available to me. He is available as I would imagine any doctor can be. It is the same office as my old doctor's. It's pretty good. It seems alright. He is pretty punctual. The staff is pretty helpful. My mother who went in there as well was really impressed. He was going step by step with everything that he was testing, probing, and stuff. He let me know exactly what he was finding and what the results were. The billing and administration seems alright. I got a new insurance policy like everybody, and everything seems to go through fine so far.

  • He's a nice man and confident but I question his motivation and I wasn't impressed with him. His office staff seems fine and professional. They're well rehearsed. He was available on appointment and I saw him pretty much on time however he was so quick in and out the door that I really didn't get my questions answered.

  • Annual Physical was handled by someone else that in my opinion was less capable. As result of the physical rec'd a referral to an ENT. ENT wanted me to try a certain medication, but wanted my primary to prescribe it. Even though I'd just had a physical, Dr Roy would not prescribe over the phone, and would only prescribe if I came in for an office visit… an event that would require 2-3 hours of my time for 5 minutes with the doctor.

  • You sign in. Take care of the payments. Within five minutes a nurse calls you back and does your vitals. She takes you to your room. Within 15 minutes, the doctor arrives. He greets you, asks how you're doing in general (and listens), and then asks for the reason of the visit. He examines you, asking relevant questions. He discusses his diagnosis with you to make sure you understand what is wrong with you. He explains the medications he is prescribing, and the dosage. He makes sure you know what to do. If you have multiple meds, he will write them down for you so that you are not trying to decipher the prescription. He reminds you that if you have ANY questions or concerns to make sure you call him. Sometimes he can take your call, sometimes he has to wait after hours, but he ALWAYS calls! There have been times when I wasn't sure about something, called the office, talked to the nurse, and then out of nowhere, there is a call from the doctor! This husband and wife team care about their patients. Believe me, due to an auto accident four years ago, I have seen MANY doctors lately, and NONE of them show the care and concern like the Doctors Jasko!!

  • He is very efficient and knows what he is doing. My husband has a heart problem and he referred him to a cardiologist. I also go to him for diabetes checkup. Everything is computerized and I’ve had very little problems with him. If you have an emergency, they’ll take you in right away.

  • In general I like Dr. Hilliard because she doesn't just use your age as a reason for a screening test, she takes into account family history, personal history, etc. to make an intelligent decision on what is necessary.  She can run behind sometimes so the wait is a little longer than I would like it doesn't happen all the time.

I've also run into some doctors that are quick to label a patient and then medicate.  Dr. Hilliard is definitely not that way.  She wants to understand what is going on before deciding on a course of action (I'm thankful for that).

She takes the time to listen and then deals with with everything in one visit.  As long as the patients are upfront when making the appointments about what they are coming in for then the wait time is reasonable.  She really cares about me as a patient and wants to make sure that I'm comfortable and that I understand what is needed and why.

  • Dr. Mark has a good bedside manner and seems to be knowledgeable in his field. His punctuality is horrible. Every time I went to see him I waited over an hour beyond my appointment time. I did not care for his staff. They gave me a reminder call for the initial exam. On subsequent visits they did not call to remind me and still billed for it. I would tell others to expect to wait a lot.

  • She specializes in women, but she is always refining her practice. She now has an adolescent co-professional working with her, and I do have a fourteen year-old boy. She is just an all-around fabulous doctor, especially for women. She always have so much time. She is very gentle in her approach, but also very thorough. I don't wait very long if I go for my appointment.
