House Painting reviews in Danville

    Home Remodeling by Treeium Inc
Do not hire Treeium. Their marketing is deceptive, the quality of work is terrible and they are untruthful. On August 8, 2017, I hired Treeium to complete a remodel project at my home in Danville. The contract amount was $49,550 and the estimated completion date was October 2, 2017. The quality of work was terrible and progress repeatedly delayed. In December 2017 I posted accurate and truthful negative reviews on several public sites. This action resulted in a threat from Treeiums Chief Executive Officer. Treeium abandoned the project in April 2018 leaving me with defective and incomplete work. I have had to redo much of the work performed by Treeium. The California State License Board forced Treeium to reimburse some of my costs.

    SO UNIQUE PAINTING & DECORATING
We are extremely pleased with the end result of this project. We didn't know what to expect with the kitchen cabinets or the vanities but they look like new. Everyone involved in this project from Jose, who gave us our estimate, to all the painters, were professionals and very easy to work with. If we found anything that we felt needed touched up, it was done.

    Everlast Construction
As good as it gets.... not only did Jonathon, Gideon, and Ari and their big team do a stellar job on my home, they had a great attitude the whole time. My friends and family could not believe how quickly everything was done and in such high quality. The workmanship of the crew was top notch and everything not only looks amazing but built to last. I really enjoyed the process (which I have heard is a rarity) and I will definitely recommend them to my nearest and dearest. It's comforting to have friendly, caring, and honest contractors like Everlast who put so much time and effort into your home-and make it look great!

    Everlast Construction
We worked with Ari at Everlast to design & renovate our complete kitchen remodel. He was really great to work with from start to finish. Ari took the time to figure out what our design tastes were and used that to guide us every step of the way. There were a lot of decisions to make but he was able to narrow things down where it was not overwhelming. The teams that worked were top notch and did a great job. We did not run into any issues at all with the work. We are very happy with how the project turned out and would highly recommend Everlast for your kitchen remodel.

    Evolve Construction
We give Evolve Construction a five star rating due to their beautiful work and service. They were very professional and answered every question we had. The team was very knowledgeable and delivered on time. The entire work, which included a kitchen remodel and some work around the house, took less time than expected and the only add ones to the budget were items that we asked them to add during the work. We were very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone.

    ROBERT'S PAINTING
There were so many problems with them. I had to have them come back and redo parts that they missed and messes they had to clean up. I'm convinced I'm not going to get much of a life out of this paint job. In the end, it looks okay. But I don't think it's going to last. I think the price was fair. I did get several bids and they were not the cheapest and they were not the most expensive. The owner was responsive. I felt like the guys on the job weren't. I shouldn't have had to point out all the problems. After the first or second time, when I pointed stuff out to them, you'd think they would make an extra effort. They should not have me pointing things out to them again. They even expect that. They even tell you, "Give us a list of what needs to be repaired." But it was the kind of stuff where you just walk by and you go, "What the heck did they do here?"

    Woodiwiss Painting
We had a VERY tight turnaround time because we were having new flooring completed on 3/26 and movers coming with our furniture on the 29th. The entire Woodiwiss team was thorough, clean, efficient, and we even had a couple walls that needed to be re-done because we didn't like the color we chose and they made the changes quickly. Above and beyond that, we had DirecTV in on the last day of painting to install our cable and mount TVs to the walls. Woodiwiss stuck around to help patch and re-paint parts of the walls that were dinged in the cable installation process. We had brand new hardwood floors and they covered and protected them as if it were their own. I can't say enough about Toby and his team... they were life savers for us and we would use them again in a heart beat!!!

Almeida & Son Painting & Construction Inc
I contacted Dennis in May because he had good reviews on Angies List. He said he could not get to my job until then end of July/August. I agreed I would wait until he had TIME for my job. He and another worker did the tear down including disconnecting my kitchen sink plumbing.  Three days later I discovered my flooring and cabinet beneath my sink was flooded. Apparently the valves were not capped (I am not a plumber but this is what I learned from other professionals)and leaked over a three day period underneath my laminate flooring. I called Dennis immediately and he came over as fast as he could. It was a weekend. That is why he gets an A for responsiveness and punctuality. But that is where the good grades end. I understand plumbing leaks and accident happen but being told "Just wait and see if your floor buckles before you remove it," was totally inappropriate. There was water squishing under foot! I called a water restoration company and had to have my kitchen and some dining room flooring pulled up, my cabinet where the plumbing leaked replaced, couple inches of wall cut out that was wet and THREE days of dehumidifiers and blowers loudly blowing. My refrigerator was in my dining room.
Dennis came back after everything was dry and roughly patched the walls. My granite and kitchen sink was put in by a guy named Sergio who was professional and talented. I love my new counter tops. Dennis rushed Sergio out and said he would put a sealant between the new sink and the counter tops when he came back, but he never did. Dennis tried to engage me in the discussion about the leak, "I talked to a plumber friend..., this has never happened to me in 15 years." He NOT ONCE apologized for the total inconvenience and added cost the flood caused. I did contact my insurance because that is what homeowners insurance is for.
Anyway a friend and I painted my kitchen, built the new shelving, and put in a back splash. I asked Dennis by email when he might be able to finish my pantry and patch the drywall and he gave me a date at the end of August. I never heard from him again, so I sent him an email ending our professional relationship.
He was going to put a header in for my new pantry and hang the bifold doors but I have found another professional for that job.
I still have a concrete floor in my kitchen and some weird purple drywall that was never finished by Dennis. I would be very cautious with this contractor. Make sure he has time for your job. I heard over and over from him that he was very busy with other jobs. Very unprofessional.
