Hospital Care reviews in Daly City

    Kaiser Permanente
We will see if it is a lasting and total fix, but so far my care has been wonderful and affordable. I love Altha Greenstone, and the hospital stay was much better than with SUtter Health. Kind and attentive nurses & staff, really concerned about managing pain, not waking you up every hour.

Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Medical Center
The neuro surgery floor had very professional, caring staff who made me comfortable and stable before the surgery and provided excellent post-operative care. My surgeon, Dr. Hou, had great bedside manners, took over an hour to explain the procedure to me and my family before the operation. He also prescibed functional and regular MRI's before the operation so that he could be sure to avoid areas in my brain that could cause problems. After surgery and a couple of days of recovery, the symptoms I had were greatly reduced. My neuro-oncologist, Dr. Piia Thomas, was in the same group as Dr. Hou. She was very compassionate and explained the treatment options in an understandable and clear manner and side effects that I could encounter during these treatments. The neuro-oncology group has also been very responsive to my questions via telephone and through Kaiser's messaging system.

    JOHN MUIR MEDICAL CENTER
They're an extremely modern hospital. They're immaculately clean from the front door all the way through. Their pre-operating staff was very passionate and understanding to my wife, and very supportive of me as her husband. They answered all of our questions.

    Good Samaritan Hospital
It was just a wonderful experience and there were 3 different nurses that were exemplary. The ER was just incredible and they were incredibly supportive. I knew was really sick and was incredible pain, but they knocked the pain out of me immediately. When they sent me to med surg floor they were incredibly supportive which I wasn’t expecting. They were right on top of it and the whole experience was exceptional.

    Good Samaritan Hospital
I went to Good Samaritan Hospital to have my son. During our stay we spent time in the Birth/Delivery ward as well as the Maternity ward. The staff and facilities at the hospital were wonderful. They were always there when I needed them and took very good care of both my son and me. I felt very comfortable at the hospital during my stay and the food is pretty good too :-) I love the fact the hospital allows your child to stay with you the whole time you are in the maternity ward.

    Kaiser Permanente
The doctor who did the surgery was competent and knew his business. I didn't look outside Kaiser for an option and in Kaiser itself it is very hard to get this kind of surgeries. We get very few opportunities like this to use it.

    Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara
We are extremely happy with Kaiser as a whole. We go to the Kaiser new campus on Lawrence and it opened last August and it is a brand new facility. It is fantastic and has the latest technology, everything is computerized, and they are prompt. Any doctor at anytime can look at your record with all the tests and everything and you don t have to go anywhere for it. For the service that you get for the availability of medical care at an instant notice, convenience to laboratory for testing or any other testing is unbeatable.

I have no memory of the treatment in eureka, i assume from the coma meds. they used. fact the first few days in san fransico are real fuzzy. I was first treated for the infection by installing a drain right into the absess. which was an alternative to surgery to cut out the abcess. it took some time to drain, and was put on antibiotics to the specific bug causing the infection. the drian did not get all the infection, so they had to repostion the drain, a week to 10 days later all was gone. all the while I was closely monitered by heart monitor. with now problem. but the cardioac dept. thought I should have a defibulator installed to prevent this from happening again. so after all signs of infection were proven to be gone, to include the blood. I had a defib installed. all in all I spent 7 weeks in the hospital. i was released and they even took me to the airport at no charge to fly home as this hospital is 300 miles away. I had to pay my own way home as the way provided by the hospital would have been to painfull. (via shuttle bus) I am still recovering and have recieved follow up calls from some of the depts their, mainly the cardio dept. also the GI dept. via letters.
