  • Came right away. No suggestions given about repair of washing machine; said we needed a new one and gave some suggestions of manufacturers and said to avoid top loaders. He tested oven temps and said okay as is. (The next day we arranged a 2nd opinion visit from another Angie's List company and paid more for the service call (a Lot more!) but from the 2nd company got the washing machine re-configured so it's been working again, and also got a diagnostic and a repair cost quote on the oven.)

  • Rich re-configured our clothes washer and it has worked again ever since! He also gave us tips to avoid similar problems in the future. We got a price the next day on replacing the hinges on our oven door, which is why the oven has been losing heat, but have decided against replacing them because the manufacturer's cost for the needed parts package is too high.

  • The first scheduled appointment failed due to the repairman calling out sick. The next 3 were no-shows, however, the company claimed that there was no one home at the time. When we finally got a repairman present, they had to order a part to fix the unit, which took 2 weeks! Today was the same story - repairman claims they attempted to make contact and ring the doorbell, but no one showed up. I would not recommend this company to any home or business. No respect for time, and such a disregard for service.

  • Terrible! The technician came to our house and looked at our dishwasher. He determined that we needed a replacement part. The technician told us that he or his boss would order the necessary part and call when it had come in. When I didn't hear from them in a week, I called Sunny Appliance back. I was told that the part got lost in the mail, and once it arrived, someone would call me back. I spent over 3 weeks calling and re-calling to ask about the status of the part order. Each time I talked to someone, they said that the part got lost in the mail. They continually promised that someone would call me back when it came in. Nobody ever called me back. I called back today, and the answer was the same as it's been for the last 3 weeks: the part is still missing, someone will call you back. When I insisted on talking to the manager, the person on the phone told me that the truth is that the technician did not know how to install the part. I was then asked if we had paid anything for the technician visit. I told him that we did pay a fee for the visit and I asked if Sunny Appliance had any record of our payment, the answer: No. Unbelievably bad service.

  • Provided me with a 2 hour window and they arrived on the early side of the appointment window. He also called to advise me when he was on his way. They diagnosed and advised me what the problem was and provided me with the cost prior to starting the work. The service provider was very knowledgeable and experienced and was able to explain exactly what was wrong. It was nice because they had the part on hand and were able to fix it the same day.  If I need them in the future they also offered 10% off for repeat service.

  • I discovered that our refrigerator stopped working on a Friday evening.  I called Sam on Saturday morning and he was able to come out by Saturday afternoon.  He diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the inoperable parts.  He also vacuumed underneath the fridge which I am sure was nasty since I don't think I have ever cleaned under there plus he gave me the opportunity to dust behind the refrigerator before we moved it back into place.  He even took the time to explain to me how I could replace the water filter for the refrigerator on my own.  My family and I certainly appreciate Sam's knowledge and quality of work.  Our refrigerator runs like new now so we would definitely recommend him.

  • I knew something was wrong with my freezer when the items in the door started to thaw. The interior was no longer freezer temerature and the motor only had a slight hum. In dire need, I called A-Z and explained the urgency of my problem with Sam being worried everything was going thaw. He was already on the road to another appointment, but called them that he would be a little late due to an emergency. Sam got right to it and in no time had all the ice removed putting it back in service. I really appreciate him coming out so quickly and saving the day.

  • They come on time. I had two repairs done in two year's period. They didn't do it right the first time, they had to come back. They did it better the second time. I had no issues since the service was provided.

  • I called A-Z Appliances because it was 7:30 p.m. and I needed someone to fix my refrigerator right away.  Sam Veynrob (owner) answered and I explained my problem.  He said "listen very carefully.  Unplug your refrigerator and try another outlet.  Your refrigerator is not broken."  I did as he said and Eureka! it worked.  He did not want any payment, but I insisted on sending him at least the cost of a service call.  Cheap for the value.  Thank you, Sam.  I will use you again.

  • I had a pleasant experience with them. I come to know them by when I bought the washer and dryer in Bestbuy because we chose not to buy it in Sears. My wife also bought an extended warranty through the Geek Squad.
