Southern California Sunrooms and Patio Room Additi
Calls were returned and answers given. Workers were very limited in English. Scheduling demolition, delivery, and new const. was a minor problem in that there were days when nothing was done. Would use again.

    Patios By B&B Inc
Thank you to the Patios by B&B crew for our beautiful patio cover. Jeff was a pleasure to work with, the entire process was hassle free and we are thrilled beyond our expectations with the results. A special shout out to Angel and Manny for their professionalism and patience with our puppies, who were constantly stealing their tools, hat, sunglasses and other stuff. Although we received quotes from other companies, none had the attention to detail nor drive for complete customer satisfaction of Patios by B&B. My husband and I recommend them without hesitation.

AAA Quality Raingutters & Alumawood Covers
I called the company about 3 months prior to having the work done. Their sales rep (John) arrived promptly and listened to my request for the type of patio I wanted (I wanted a patio with a lattice covering to replace the existing damaged one).  He showed me their booklet on the types of patios they had and explained the concept of what an "alumawood" patio was and the advantages(e.g.  made of long-lasting materials, not susceptible to termite infestation, etc.)  of going with that over a traditional wood patio.  He was also patient in answering all of my questions.   Afterwards, he took numerous measurements of my existing patio (I wanted the new one to be the same dimensions as the previous one) and actually drew a diagram of the new patio with the dimensions.  This was part of the estimate that included details on what was to be done (The estimate included the removal and hauling away of the old patio as well as pulling any necessary city permits).  I also asked John about having surrounding fascia (boards) replaced that were damaged by termites.   While he initially said that his company could do that, after I told him that I was going to have the entire roof re-placed (due to age and many of the underlying boards having termite damage), he recommended that I should have the fascia replaced by the roofing company as I would probably get an overall better price.  I appreciated John's honesty.  At no point did I feel under pressure to "close the deal," nor did I feel that John was a hard sell (he seemed sincere in  helping me with putting in good patio).
When I called to go ahead with the project, their company was flexible in their scheduling as I wanted them to first come out and remove the patio.  After that, I was going to have the roof repaired and installed (by a different company), and finally have the patio put in (there was about 3 weeks between the 2 projects).   When the company finally came out to put the new patio, they installed it within a day.  They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and provided me with some additional hooks  (for hanging plants, decorations, etc.) at my request, even though they weren't part of the original package.   I am extremely satisfied with their professionalism and excellent work.

    West Coast Mobile Home Improvement
When I first called West Coast Mobile Home Improvement, a woman answered immediately and was very professional. (Many companies these days never answer their phones and ask you to leave a message. If they don't have a receptionist, I will hang up and find one that does.)  We set up a date for me to meet Ray Mullan, the contractor for all the jobs at my house. He was involved in who to send out for which jobs and when the jobs would be performed.  He was very accommodating, friendly, and not in hurry to get out of there...just a great guy to do business with. They are very willing to leave their area of Murrieta and drive all the way out to my home in Cypress.  All 6 guys that performed the various jobs were very professional. They were on time and called before arriving.
I highly recommend West Coast Mobile Home Improvement and will surely use them again in the future!

Everything was done very professionally and on time.    Someone came out and took measurements on the date and time
scheduled.   Several weeks later, I was contacted and given a date and time for the installation.    The workmen arrived exactly on time and went to work.
I wasn't sure about the spacing of the cross beams so the installer put both sizes up so I could see the difference and make a better decision.    The patio cover was completely installed and all cleanup done in two hours.  The materials used will never yellow or need paint.  My patio cover is beautiful, and it has made a such a difference in the appearance and comfort of my backyard.
Everyone who sees it is very impressed, and I only wish I had done it years ago!!

    COAST OVERHEAD DOOR
My 2nd edited review was quite mild (giving them the benefit of the doubt) but here is the truth now:  They took my awning manuals on purpose.  They thought that by doing so I would be limited in what I learned and how to adjust my $5,000 dollar awnings. (and they knew if I saw my manuals I would see just how easy it was to install without needing them.)   How this conclusion was made?  One of the installation manuals was found in my trash bin torn up (by hand) into little bitty pieces. (The other Pat admitted over the phone that he grabbed it by mistake.)  The last time I had seen something torn up like that was when you didn't want someone reading or gaining knowledge of something on that paper.  Otherwise why would Pat take the time to tear up the installation instructions into little pieces.  - Ummmm.... know what a PDF online is???  Apparently not.  (and it's no wonder he tore it up. The install is so basic.)
    The bottom line:   (Chronologically)
    -Bought two expensive motorized awnings.
-Called and got Anthony on the phone.
-Without confirmation Anthony and Pat show up at my doorstep the next day.
(You'd think wow what superb service right?)   Keep reading...
    - They drill 16 holes - Anthony starts drilling the holes before I could scratch my a**.
    - They charge me $800 dollars to drill 16 holes in stucco.  (17 because actually Anthony messed up and drilled one in the wrong spot.)
    - To haul away the containers that my motorized awnings came in - Anthony said $25 dollars. (Most companies that charge you a rate like that would have hauled it off for free and also my city trash would have done it for free as well. - but I let them do it because I was so happy I was getting this installed)
TOTAL:  $825 to drill 16 holes.
-That's not all !  I asked if they could tack my power cords to the stucco. They said they don't do that and that wouldn't be included in the installation price.  Really?  Yeah let's leave a motor cord from a high priced high class awning just dangling -in the dirt of the planter area.  Really nice presentation!
    - Despite their hefty price INITIALLY I felt like I was getting service from two stand up individuals. Boy was I wrong!  This has not been the case. (These guys must be in some serious debt or something desperate.)
    - First I noticed that the manuals were missing.  Pat said that he or Anthony would return stop by and return them the following week.
    - They never came by and since then I have left messages because I need one of the arms adjusted as it is not level and hanging too low.
    - run around, run around, run around.
    - do not return my phone calls.
-Weeks later I spoke to a "Peggy" on the phone who assured me they would return my call. - never returned my call.
These guys are truly AWFUL!!!  Once they already got paid for a job (OVER PAID) they just move on to the next victim.
Wow if I could go drill 16 holes everyday and make what they made off me each time?   I wouldn't need a Bachelor's or Master's degree !
I was ready to put them in my book for future use and refer many friends and relatives.  Forget it. I'm glad I didn't. That would have been embarrassing.
AVOID THESE "I WANT TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK" F#%KS.
They do not even know how to use a level!!!
2nd edited original review:   (1st one was actually a great review talking about how I thought they were the last of a dying breed of good ol' American contractors - then after a few run around phone calls (after they already got my money) I realized it wasn't true - then it was revised to this review:
If you didn't buy the product through them - their installation charge is extremely expensive. Also if your unit(s) come with manuals make sure you retrieve them or make it known you want them or it will be assumed that they're trash. Another thing regarding if you don't buy the product from them - they will charge you extra for throwing containers and boxes away.  (if you want them to throw away)  Most would assume that came with the high installation charge - was charged $800.00 for installation and $25.00 for throwing containers away.  The install took roughly 3 hours.

    Patios By B&B Inc
Paul came to our house to determine the design. He was very friendly and spent a lot of time with us.
Then we met him at the manufacturer of the materials to determine colors, styles, etc.
It was good to be able to see the samples and touch them.
Paul also had a lot of photos to show us so we had a good sense of what we were buying.
Paul was willing to coordinate with our electrician so he did some and Paul did some of the work. We then purchased lighting fixtures and Paul installed those on the structure. We have incorporated electrical, lighting and sound into the fixture so we have a perfect party place!
We are very pleased and enjoy our new structure all the time!
It's been almost a  year since the installation and still very pleased with the way the structure and the project turned out.

My experience with Patios by B & B was great!  Jeff responded to my initial e-mail within 5 minutes and came over soon after to give me a quote.  The job came in exactly as described and his workers were wonderful, always leaving the patio area neat and clean upon my return home from work each day.  The final product is lovely and although I initially chose to install skylights, Jeff was very gracious in working with me as I changed my mind midway through the job.  I greatly appreciated his flexibility and gracious attitude about the few changes I made.  All in all, I am very pleased with my finished patio and look forward to using it all year long!

Our old patio cover was falling down like the Berlin Wall.  The wood had suffered so years of neglect and water damage that my kids laughed at the moss that was growing on parts of the beams.  One large gaping hole was a constant reminder of my son almost falling through part of the cover when he was 5 years old.  One July 4th we climbed on it to get a better view of the Joint Forces Training Base's annual show.  No sooner had we got up there that his left leg punctured through the plywood that was disbursing his weight.  Fast forward a few rainy seasons and you have our old patio cover....old, rotting and haunting.
With spring coming upon us, we finally decide to move forward with this project.  We received our first estimate from a contractor that works with a "large home improvement store."  I won't name names but it rhymes with "Shmome Depot."  The guy was nice enough but their quote was a little out of our range but do-able.  We decide we want another estimate so on Saturday morning, I look up some contractors on Angie's list.  First one I find is B&B and I shoot off an email asking for a quote and I need it quick because Shmome Depot is having a financing special.  So if I was going to go with them, I needed to act fast to take advantage of it.  Within 2 minutes of hitting the SEND button, Jeff Goldman calls me.  Jeff says he can be at my house in 20 minutes.  Sure enough, by 10:30 AM, Jeff is at my door with a tape measure and a smile.
Over the next couple of hours, we discuss the details of the replacement patio cover and by lunchtime, we shake hands and agree to start work a week from Monday (3/18/13).  Everything went according to plans.  His tear down crew arrived Monday morning to begin the demo.  They were done by the afternoon.  On Wednesday, they deliver the new flat pan materials.  All during this time, my wife and I are in constant contact (email, phone, text) with Jeff.  By Thursday evening, the structure was up and all that remained was the electrical work.  We opted to put 3 lights and an electrical outlet in the new cover.  They completed the electrical on Friday and on Saturday morning (2 weeks after we first met Jeff), Jeff is at our door following up.  He's making sure we're 100% happy with the work.
The whole process from design to implementation took less than 2 weeks and we are extremely satisfied with the end result.  We will definitely recommend Patios by B&B to anyone.  They're professional, courteous and talented.
