I wouldn't recommend my dog go there. It is supposed to be a nursing, rehabilitation hospital. Someone put there after I got out of ICU, when they knew that I wasn't going to die because, I couldn't stay in the hospital anymore. I wasn't a hospital patient anymore. I didn't know where I was but, all I knew was, I hated it. I didn't get enough food and I was not comfortable there. I was there over Christmas and New Year's two years ago. The time that I was there was horrible, and the beds were terrible. My doctor didn't put me there because, he was in Europe. I told him to get me out of there, and he said it was a hellhole. They did not treat me at all, they let me lay in bed all day. The rooms were small and there were two of us to a room. If I needed a blanket or something they were good about that.

    Meir Tako, D.C.
First of all- as a chiropractor, Dr Tako uses a variety of additional techniques which have been very beneficial to me.  One is Functional Neurology.  I don't fully understand how it works but it does work.  It is actually more gentle than normal chiropractic.  He decides what to use according to each patient's needs.
I just started the nutritional supplements.  I have to say- last night was the best sleep I've had in a long time.  And I do feel more mentally alert today.  Given my reaction to a regimen I just started- I am looking forward to  the next several weeks to see my progress.
I indicated that punctuality is sometimes a problem.  I want to make it clear that that is because he gets very committed to helping each patient and lets that guide his appointments rather than the clock.  So I often have to wait AND it means it also takes his time with me. Ultimately, it's a good tradeoff.
I have recommended him to friends and will continue using his services- including the new facet of nutrition supplementation.

    Monta Vista Family Chiropractic
I was able to figure out the problem with my back based on some of their help and ended up having major surgery which they could not help me with. They are very through and have a great office environment. They go out of their way to get to the source of my issues. I am not sure if I would be visiting them again since my back issues have turned out to be very complex.

    Schwartz, Cara
I chose her since she was working out of the same office someone else who was good worked out of and also since she was located close by. She basically bought the office from the previous massage therapist and there was no such connection between the two. I felt she did not have enough training and I was really unimpressed with her being a massage therapist myself in the past. She does not have any staff and I pay her as I go in.

They are excellent. I had a problem for which I need a surgery, but I don't want a surgery. They are very professional and very caring. They are really very good and know what they are doing. These people are excellent.

    Quinn Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Over the last year, I've been to Quinn twice for a series of physical therapy appointments due to pain experienced in my knees from osteoarthritis, and degenerative changes in my neck, causing shoulder and arm pain, and numbness in my hands. The therapists were wonderful to work with, making adjustments as things changed for me. By following their program, I am now off all of my pain meds and symptom free. They were very punctual with appointments, provided reminders which I always appreciated, and were very accommodating with my schedule changes. I recommend that if you have a favorite therapist and specific times you want to be seen, be sure to book a couple of weeks ahead to insure you get the appointments you want. Shannon is wonderful, by the way!

    Schwartz, Cara
I first saw Cara last summer when I saw the "hot stone" massage advertised. I've had back and knee pain for years, and then even foot pain was becoming consistent, and it was all getting a bit much. I had been to MD's that had not been any help. I had changed shoes, nothing helped. When I left that first night, it was the first time that my feet had not hurt in over a year. I was ecstatic! But I assumed the pain would come back in a day or two. It didn't. Two weeks later, my feet were still fine, and my back was doing well too. I now go about every 2-3 months just to keep the pain at bay. My family has a history of severe arthritis on both sides, and I know I will eventually be taking major pain pills, but if I can put that off for a few years with massage therapy, I'm all for it. Cara is a caring gentle person who knows her art well. And may very well be the most professional and present of all of my health care providers. And although my insurance doesn't pay for her, it should! She is definitely assisting my health. There are many, many $20 and $30 "foot spa" massage places around, but I would not trade Cara for anything. She is more than worth the cost.

    Dr. Christian Lund, D.C.
Dr. Lund is awesome! I began seeing him with debilitating neck pain from some sort of pinched nerve that radiated down to my fingers and through my mid-back. After some days of this and hoping it would go away, I came here and bam within a couple of sessions my pain dramatically improved. We are now working out the rest of the kinks as I seem to be fairly damaged goods from all my time hunched over the computer over the years.  I & my family are grateful for his quick and effective work.   I am sure to be a happy patient for years to come.

    Andrew Leung Chiropractor
He is very good!  I had badly strained my mid-back to the point of feeling twisted like a pretzel and had to fly across the Atlantic a week later.  I first went to Andrew Leung with this predicament.  In four (maybe 5) sittings he had me almost normal to the point of taking this flight without any pain medications.  This was 3 years ago.  I have been back to him multiple times since with mostly back and shoulder challenges I incur playing sports.
He is not inexpensive, but he is very good.  I have used many chiropractors before, but none have been as effective as andrew leung.

It's going very well and the person I see is very knowledgeable and works with me. She explains why she is giving me some exercises and if I'm having a problem with them, she finds another approach. It is very effective.
