  • I love my doctor. He is the most thorough doctor I have ever met in my life. He practices integrated medicine and he is a certified nutritionist, which is very rare. There are really on a few around. He is extraordinarily thorough and provides so many services at his location including some unusual treatments. I know my mom has used him for arthritis and stuff like that and they have been very effective. He integrates traditional western medicine with supplements like fish oil for bones and certain vitamins. He also uses specific supplements for cholesterol, high blood pressure or whatever your issue is. He has kept us very healthy. He is a sole practitioner and has an insanely busy practice. I can get stuck waiting sometimes, but he is worth waiting for, honestly. I think they are just a little overworked; you can wait quite a while to get test results.

  • I don't always have insurance and when some doctors don't have an in house insurance person, they can charge whatever they want. If they work directly with an insurance company and charge me two hundred bucks, they have to charge everyone else two hundred bucks. This doctor has worked with me and my income so that I am able to go. I last went there last year this time. I am lucky that I have found him. When we were moving my mom, and my mother and sister refused to give up anything that they owned, I did all the heavy lifting and I already had a cold so I wound up with pneumonia. I  asked him if I was stupid to come see him and he said that I would be stupid not to come. He just makes me feel that any decision I made he was respectful of it. The only thing wrong with me is that I have an hypothyroid, so I have a monthly prescription. He knows that my income is very unsteady, so he works with me on that. He is not patronizing. He is very efficient but you don't feel rushed. He is very present and very focused when you are with him. He is very fast but I feel like he is focused and not rushing out the door, especially when I am paying out of pocket. Of course that's ending now but you know.

  • The doctor was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and confident. He followed up with my shortly after the visit to go over results. The visit was quite pleasant and I thought I had found a great new doctor.
Here I am, 8 months later, and I am still having trouble contacting the billing department (it has changed numbers twice and actual billing providers once) because it wasn't billed to my insurance company correctly. I'm also being threatened with collections by one of the office's providers.
I went in for a separate visit 5 months ago and the office failed to update my insurance card (even though I gave it to them and they copied it). It might be related to the billing office issues, but I have no idea. It's been a poor experience.

  • My last appointment with Dr. Witlan was for an annual exam and I was not feeling well at the time.  Dr. Witlan is a very nice and professional gentleman.  He is punctual for appointments and has a good bedside manner. The office environment is very nice.

  • The doctor is thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He was treating my herniated disk injury. The back happens to be a specialty of his. After going over my MRI results, the doctor immediately referred multiple PT practices by email. He even went over the exercises I should be doing at Physical Therapy. After two months my back is on track.

  • I like that he does not rush me, but takes his time. He is very bright and friendly and very no nonsense. His office and staff is average. I don?t feel that he is late or his punctuality is bad because he gives each of his patient?s time if they need it and I know that he would give me that time as well. He is an old fashioned doctor and if he is delayed with a patient by 2 or 5 minutes is because they needed it. His manner is just so personable. He is a human being before he is a doctor and I think that is extraordinary. I don?t take insurance that does not allow me to go to him and I even went off an insurance policy because he did not come under it. He is just short of a saint in my opinion and I just really like him. He is careful to explain things so that I understand. He also teaches medical students and I think that he is just great.

  • He is a professional and he looks out for all of his patients. His office staff is very friendly and he is a hard task master. The office environment is good and they get things done. I've been with them for so many years that I can't remember how long. He is a good doctor and he has told me things that I don't want to hear. I love my doctor.

  • The Doctor was attentive, responsive and professional. Several tests were taken and although I didn't have insurance, their prices were reasonable and fair. Overall, I would go to them again.
