  • Miles and his crew got the job done faster than I thought possible. We have a 1951 house and Miles matched the trim and moldings to the point that the repairs are not noticeable. Excellent craftsmanship. The man knows his craft. Will definitely hire him again.

  • It went well and while the work was expected to take 7-8 days, it was completed ahead of schedule. Felipe explained in detail what needed to be done, which is not well described above. The garage wall repair involved bracing the ceiling and removing a section of the wall which had sustained water and termite damage. The existing stucco was also removed. The wall was rebuilt (without an unneeded window) and the stucco redone and repainted. Then, they worked on the gas and water lines. Rather than simply securing them externally, we agreed that for safety to reroute the lines underground to bring them to current code. In both cases a trench was dug and new supply lines were installed. They took the excess dirt from the trenching to level a section of the yard. They demolished a wooden shed and hauled away the old material and painted the stucco of the adjacent building to blend in the with current color. The painting was done and cracks in the stucco were addressed. I have worked with Felipe before and have been extremely satisfied with the workmanship and the advice given to make the work last. Lastly, there was an issue not directly related to the work done, some wires that were exposed and live that they helped with (one of the crew stopped by to check), even though I found it a few days after they had finished. It is clear Felipe and the people he works with care about the people they do work for and take pride in the work they do.

  • I'm so impressed with J&B Painting. I would hire them again!! 1. Super responsive 2. Steve was very nice and professional 3. Very reasonable estimate for the scope of work. 4. The painters were professional, friendly, timely, efficient, TOOK PRIDE in their WORK, and cleaned up well! 5. Steve would come by just about every day to check on progress and to see if I had questions. 6. Job was started and completed as estimated. 7. Detail orientated, Not ONCE did I have to have them paint something over or fix anything, which is SO rare! I'm a very detail oriented person and I have a critical eye. 8. Definitely schedule them to come and give an estimate for you...then hire them!

  • Overall a very good experience. We consulted three painters, and Jose's Painting gave the most competitive estimate by far. Jose was very clear about what would and would not be included, preventing surprises down the line. Jose put up numerous color samples at our request, and suggested some additional colors which ended up being good choices. Jose and his whole team, led by Elvis when Jose was away, were polite and worked quickly, and were careful with our fixtures, etc. They were also patient with us when we took longer than expected to choose some colors. They were able to remove a mirrored wall and completely patch and re-texture the wall to match the other walls perfectly. At final walk-through, some touch up was required and we found some areas which were missed, but Jose and his team had a good attitude and fixed them quickly and with no complaints. We will definitely use Jose's Painting again.

  • vick came the very next day. over the years i've hired lots of trades people; vick came across as very competent. i had ordered a new identical fan and vick had it installed and running in an hour. vick even found an exposed live wire in the switch box that he fixed and even though it was a difficult job he still stuck to his over the phone price quote. great job done!

ANGIE CONFIRMED RECEIPT OF MY EMAIL TO HIM, SO IGNORE ANY "DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK" BS EXCUSES FROM HIM. RESPONSIVENESS : TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE - NOT EVEN A RETURN EMAIL SAYING TOO BUSTY. PROFESSIONALISM: IF THIS IS HIS BUSINESS APPROACH AT THE OUTSET, IMAGINE WHAT A HASSLE IT WOULD BE TO DEAL WITH HIM.

  • I needed the exterior of my house painted and All Star had recently did work on my friends place. Michael came out, examined the property and gave me a ballpark bid on the spot. Fast forward two weeks, and my home looks great. The ballpark bid never changed. Michael and team were punctual, professional, and as accommodating as one can be. Total pleasure to be around with a very "can do" attitude (a rarity these days, it seems). Any curveball I threw, or imperfection I noticed (very minor...they're human, after all) was dealt with quickly and happily. Will recommend them to friends, not to mention gladly use them again.

  • It went horribly. I scheduled an appointment with a time window between 11am-3pm and was told I would be called 30 minutes prior to the arrival of the installer. The install, between 11am-3pm, I received no call, no installer, nothing. Half an hour later, 3:33pm, the installer, Paul, calls me to tell me he's 5 minutes away. I tell him that no one is there any more because it's passed the scheduled time range and people have gone back to work. He tells me that I will be charged a rescheduling fee for "wasting their time." So, they're a half hour late, and I am the one wasting their time. He tells me I need to get someone out there in a half an hour (because I was "being technical" when I told them that they were supposed to give a thirty minute call ahead of time. "You want to be technical, fine we can get technical" was his exact response). I immediately called the main office where Cody--who was the only reasonable person in the entire situation--apologized and said he'd take care of the situation. Unfortunately, Cody's boss and Paul insisted that because I didn't tell Paul that people had left (A. Yes I did, B. Doesn't matter, they were a half hour late) they would charge a rescheduling fee if they had to come another day. They ended up just leaving a blind (that was way too long) at my apartment that I would have to measure and cut myself. Paul was rude, impatient, insisted that his lateness was my fault, and projected all kinds of negative connotations onto my tone that weren't there. He also berated me for saying "Sure" instead of "Yes, affirmative", because saying "sure" made it "...sound like [I] thought [he] was wasting [my] time." I kid you not, this was literally what he said to me. Not only my tone had to be up to his standards, but also the words I used. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in any capacity. Never, EVER use this company!!

  • My experience with OR was professional and pleasant from the beginning. They provided a free and very reasonable estimate within 1 day of seeing my project, and were very easy to get in contact with. They promptly answered all of my questions and were very accomodating to my needs. They managed to still meet their timeline even as I added extra work to the project, and even worked through the weekend! Their work was top notch, they covered and cared for all of our belongings, and treated our house with respect. I will definitely reach out to them first for any future home improvment needs.
