Gary was late, smelled of cigarettes, wasted about 45 mins of my time and never gave the very simple easy estimate. I called. I texted. I called the office. I spoke to managers. And no one called me back. No one gave me my estimate. They are a waste of time. No customer service skills. Today makes day 21 and I've talked to them several times each time they say yes we will be emailing your estimate.... still no estimate

I have been working with FTR for over 10 years. They have done ground up construction for me on over 15 new homes, remodeled multiple existing homes, installed new roofs and replaced old ones, redone electrical and plumbing on rental homes. They take pride in their work and do an excellent job. Great workmanship and will address any issue that comes up before and after the work. Their prices are very fair and have the experience to do the job.

The job they are doing right now is not finished yet. I used them earlier last year for a door. They were pretty much experts in their field. They're experienced and good at what they do. It worked out pretty well. There's been a delay with the front door only because I wanted to find the materials myself. When he initially started to do more work, I didn't want it completed with the same material. I wanted to buy my own. The price was probably average.

We did our Bathroom and Kitchen Remodeling with CCC and we are very satisfied. It was around 2 months job . They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks and it was indeed finished in 9 weeks.
They (E.Z) did a very thorough job starting with coming up with a good design taking detailed input from us. Providing a 3D design and complete remodeling plan. They also helped us in getting in touch with good suppliers to to get things like - counter top, back splash, doors, windows, some appliances etc at a fair rate.
Through out the job - they (Ozi and E.Z) kept us informed and were always very responsive and would take our feedback regularly.
Overall their team did a good job in keeping the house clean but it could have been a little bit better.
Overall - we are very satisfied with the project and I would highly recommend CCC. I will definitely be working with them for my next project.

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
We recently purchased a home as an investment to make a little extra income by renting it out or even possibly flipping it.  It is an older home that had several things that needed to be replaced/updated before we could put it out on the market.  Many rooms needed painted, new carpeting in some of the bedrooms, and hardwood installed in the living room. The fireplace was old and only wood-burning so I wanted to install a brand new gas fireplace.  I called around to several remodeling companies and found that most of them were unreliable. They would tell me they would come out on a certain day and time and they would never show up. I was getting frustrated?until I called Supreme Remodeling.  Elaine was very helpful on the phone and I explained all the work needed to be done. I was told Jacob would come out that SAME day because he was in the area. He showed up later that day and I was impressed. I showed him the house and explained the work I needed done. He asked a few questions about the materials I wanted to use and we went over possible specs for the fireplace as well. Elaine called me the next day with a job estimate and it was less than I anticipated. I was thrilled and told Elaine to schedule a crew to start as soon as possible. I didn?t have a set deadline but since I was eager to get the home listed, I was hoping they could start soon and complete it quickly.
The crew was scheduled to come out within a week of us hiring Supreme Remodeling.  Jacob oversaw the project and made sure the workers understood everything required. I wasn?t able to be at the home every day so I really was trusting Jacob to be able to manage everything. He did just that. The carpeting and hardwood looks great. Along with the painting, it looks like a whole new house. The new gas fireplace works well. We chose bronze cabinet-style glass fireplace doors that were installed well and look beautiful.
Overall, I couldn?t be happier. It is exactly what I envisioned. The crew completed the job within the deadline they gave me and left the job site clean and picked up.  Jacob and Elaine were super helpful and knowledgeable. My experience with Supreme Remodeling was fantastic.

    Butel Construction Inc
We had a very positive experience with Butel Construction.  They demolished an old, poorly built addition, and replaced it with a beautiful two-story addition that includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, family room, a laundry room, and a study
hall.  They were a pleasure to work with, and they finished on time and in budget. They kept the site very clean while they were working (we continued to live in the home during construction), and I was very happy with all sub-contractors. As we have moved in and settled in, we continue to appreciate the high quality, solid construction.
Shai Butel takes great pride in his work, and it shows in both the quality of the job as well as in his follow-through.  His initial quote was competitive, but slightly higher than other quotes we received. However, when we looked at the breakdown, his quote included a lot of things other bidders left off to keep their price down.  As a result, his quote was actually more
accurate and fair than the others.  When he finished our job, he asked me to contact him directly if we had any issues
at all.  And, one year later, we are still in touch, and he still helps me out when little things pop up.
One nice thing about working with Shai is that he is a problem solver.  Whenever I talk with him, my stress level decreases.  During a big job, sometimes the little things really stand out.  I had my heart set on old-fashioned glass doorknobs for our interior doors.  But, after I bought them all, it turned out that they did not fit the holes pre-drilled into our doors.  I am still not sure how he did it, but without making a big fuss or charging me extra, Shai just made them work so that I would be happy.  I still appreciate it every time I turn one of those knobs.
We have also had good experiences with Tom.  He oversaw a previous project that we did in our kitchen in 2009.  He has an amazing eye, and he helped us turn a teeny galley kitchen into an inviting open space- without actually changing the footprint (It was like a magic trick).  He was also great about helping us choose a combination of pre-fabricated and custom cabinets so that we maximized our kitchen space without inflating our budget.
I recommend Butel Construction very highly; they are very honest, easy to work with, and very fair.

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
We wanted to add an office space to our home, working with Supreme Remodeling was a very pleasant experience and involved much less stress than we've expected.
We have a medium size living area in the second floor that we never use and my husband wanted to use it as his home office.
We've tried to talk to a few contractors in the area but the first one was too busy to meet us, another one never answered the call! When we called the third contractor, the receptionist was rude and had a very short temper.
We called Supreme remodeling, waited about a minute on the line when Elaine answered with a warm welcome. I've explained to her our needs and she said we get a free estimate.
They sent us Simon, who was very friendly and polite. Simon gave us a rough estimate on the spot. He said it might go up a little bit which was perfectly fine with us, because the price was about a half than what we though the job would cost.
Like I?ve said in the first part of this review, working with the guys at supreme remodeling was a pleasant experience. The crew was very friendly. They were showing on time, never over stayed long hours, they always cleaned at the end of the day.
The new office looks great, from the new paint to the wall accents, the new hardwood floor looks fantastic and my husband is very pleased.
We couldn?t recommend Supreme remodeling enough. From the first phone call to the finish of the job - they made sure we are happy.
    Great job guys!

    Butel Construction Inc
It's rare for anyone to say that they enjoyed living through construction in their home.  But we've done it twice with Shai Butel of Butel Construction and he's made it as easy, unobtrusive and quick as possible without sacrificing excellent end results.  Shai himself is a trustworthy, reliable contractor and an overall great guy.

We've been impressed with him as well as all of the guys on his team and all of his sub-contractors. He hasn't steered us wrong with recommendations and is usually willing to negotiate.  Most importantly, he stands by his work and if anything is wrong, he'll fix it ... and if it was his error, he'll do it at his cost.  Like most contractors, you do need to closely manage the details to make sure everything stays perfectly on track, but he's totally open to that and encourages it.

Our most recent project with Shai was our biggest - adding a fourth bedroom/bathroom and three closets as well as expanding our kitchen dining area.  We did get other comparative bids (even though we were leaning heavily toward working with Shai again based on great experiences in the past) and he was absolutely willing to work with us within our budget and worked through multiple contract revisions until we were completely comfortable to proceed.  It took about a month to finalize the contract - Shai wanted the work and was willing to put in the time to negotiate and adjust the terms without putting on intense pressure.  Much appreciated.

Shai and his subcontractors handled everything from start to finish - and his right hand man Eudice is fantastic as well, staying in touch with us, providing updates on timing and next steps, and readily available (both Shai and Eudice) for questions... which we always had many.  If we needed to meet in person, we could get Shai or Eudice to come out within a day, two max.  Impressive.

As with any contractor, you need to closely manage the details.  While they did provide updates to us, a few times we were surprised with short deadlines to select fixtures, paints or materials.  But in the grand scheme of adding onto our home, we believe this is a minor, forgivable point.

We started worked in late June and work was completed (with a few minor things to finish up) by late October.  Four months is pretty amazing timing for an addition of a bedroom, bathroom, three closets, kitchen dining area expansion, as well as relocation of our HVAC, water heater and rebuilding our cement wall that encloses our backyard.  Most importantly, we're thrilled with the work and would absolutely hire Shai and Butel Construction again in the future.

    Peter Hamon Buildesign LLC
Peter was well-organized, never missed an appointment, and completed the work when it was promised, and at the (reasonable) fees promised. When the unforeseen occured, (as with any remodel) he was quite reasonable and accomodating with changes to the schedule and budget. I am an architect, so I was on guard about up-charges, but it was not an issue at all. The quality of the work was excellent; his subs were among the best I have worked with and were absolutely respectful of the house and our schedules as we were moving in. Overall, Peter and company were wonderful to work with. Even my wife's fear of "living in a construction zone" has abated, and I look forward to our next project on the house. Peter will get the call.

This contractor is clearly at the top of his field. He is knowledgeable, and has several decades of experience in house construction/remodeling. We never had reason to doubt his integrity, and he kept the project moving as fast as was feasible, given the typical uncertainties in home construction. He was responsive: almost always reachable within an hour by phone. The subcontractor that this contractor uses are also highly competent and experienced, leading to a bid that was not the lowest we obtained, but was surprisingly competitive. Our actual costs were higher than the original bid. The first reason is that there is an inevitable 10% increase that occurs because of unseen circumstances (e.g., increased requirements from the city inspector). The second reason is that this contractor provided a bid that was based on standard rather than premium materials/design (I think this is typical in the industry), and during construction we chose some higher quality materials and added construction tasks (e.g., additional shelf space, etc.). This should be understood and discussed up front if budget is a serious issue. The contractor uses biweekly billing of actual labor and materials rather than milestone billing. The bills were detailed and accurate, and with some practice, fairly straightforward to understand. The end result was almost flawless work, down to the smallest details (including very precise and high quality painting) In short, I would not hesitate to recommend this contractor.
