    Mountainside Construction
I can not speak highly enough about my experience with Mountainside Construction.  I dealt with Bill Judd who was very good at answering my questions and keeping me in the loop as the work progress.  I went out and got three bids for the project.  Mountainside was the highest.  There was something about Bill Judd that made me want to spend the extra money to have him build my shed (actually my "Man Cave").  In my younger days (I am now 64) I had worked in all the construction trades and wanted to do as much of the work as I could, so the contract was just for the shed, no painting, roofing, electrical, or insulation, no finish work.  Just before the start of digging the footings I changed the design specs and had the shed enlarged.  No problem Bill told me and made the change (and the price, but it was very reasonable). Bill had the siding delivered and placed on the lower deck for me so I could paint it if before the shed was built (the shed is on a down slope with the highest corner being close to 15' off the ground, a bit much for a ladder).  I was not able to watch the construction, but when I came  up for final walk through, WOW was I impressed.  they had done a lot more then I had envisioned for my shed.  A lot of extra features were included.  Double studs in critical places on the walls,  vapor wrapped (other contractors had not included that in their discussions), Hurricane clips holding the roof to the walls, heavy roof/ceiling joists on 12" centers instead of 16" centers (so I could floor it and use it for attic storage), extra heavy 4" x 8" joists under the floor.  I am sure that the other contractors would not have built my shed with this heavy a duty construction.  Put erosion control under the shed, with a drain channel around the edge.
If there is a earthquake, typhoon, or tornado, I am headed into my shed, because the rest of the property may be blown/washed away, but my shed (with my recliner, TV, and refrigerator) will still be there.  I feel that I got a lot more value then I paid for, which is very rare in the construction business, or life in general.
