Chiropractor reviews in Crestline

    Pepi, Dr. Anita M
I found Dr. Peppi on line and was impressed with her site and the so-called testimonies, which I now believe were not real testimonies I'm sorry to say. Maybe, but I have doubts. They never asked for one from us and when you read many of them, the grammar and writing sounds too similar. (That's just my opinion). Anyway, the reviews sounded like she was an amazing doctor who could work with just about any health problem--and maybe she can. I took my 9 yr old niece and asked my dad to come along who also appreciates natural healing. It was a long drive. I was told we could bring in our supplements from home that she could test. She wasn't interested, but did some anyway and looked at what was junk and what was maybe ok. She even threw one bottle away of highlander's homeopathic pills and said they were as dead as a doorknob. That was not hers to throw away. We brought our supplements in a box and she yelled at my dad telling him to get those out of the room, she could not have them in the room while working on my niece cause of negative vibes (or whatever she called it). Her stress level was high. My dad and I are pretty relaxed people and we both walked away from there feeling a lot of tension. She had her assistant take my niece out of the room and talked to us about her condition and used a couple of fowl words. She was intimidating and we couldn't wait to get out of there. I won't say it was a total bad experience. My niece was getting sick every 2 weeks like clock work and Dr. Pepi discovered the seizure medicine was causing it. She gave instruction on properly weaning her off of her seizure meds and gave her the appropriate diet for her health condition. My niece also learned the importance of not eating artificial sugars and later on rejected some candy when it was offered to her. Dr. Peppi does offer good tips on her website and I still receive email tips. She was really expensive. $500 for 1 hour and was a stickler when that hour was up. I had an appointment scheduled for myself for a later date and decided to cancel cause I didn't want to go back to see her. I was charged a $50 for a cancellation fee. A lot of natural doctors charge $500 for 1hr treatments. I don't want to say it was a total waste of an appointment, but I would not go back. I expected someone in the natural healing business to be more understanding and a lot friendlier. She was not friendly I'm sorry to say, but do hope other people have had much better success stories.
