AJames Clifton General ContractorJames and his crew did an excellent job installing a Water Guard system in a guesthouse located under our garage that had a continual water leakage problems during heavy rain. Every time it rained and a new problem arose, James and his crew were quick to come out and find another solution. Everything is working as it should and we haven’t had any more issues. AAlpha Structural, Inc.We have a strange leak in our basement that recurs every time it rains. To figure out the potential source, we called Alpha Structural, and the entire team was outstanding from the get-go. Lisa Hunter first took a detailed account of and keen interest in our situation, and then Gary Coffing came to inspect our house. Gary possesses an incredible wealth of knowledge about foundation and structural integrity, and gave us a very fair assessment of what might be happening, and what we could and should try first. Rather than make a hard sell to engage Alpha in a major investigation, he suggested we first try a few simpler solutions, including fixing the grading of our soil leading to the basement as well as our gutters. Perhaps this won't work and perhaps it will, but the point is he gave us a full account of what may be happening and a number of specific things to try before pulling the trigger on a major structural ordeal. A HUGE thank you to Gary and the whole team. We hope it doesn't come to it, but if we do need to go down the route of major structural work, we will absolutely call you again.- Amanda W.

FScam artists. I asked him to inspect my house cause I was worried about my foundation having issues. Leo came to my house. He told me the house was sinking from the middle and it would cost about $10,000 to fix. He didn't even go under the house to check the foundation. I had two other foundation companies come in and tell me there was no problem. Don't trust this company.

AWe had a storage room off the garage converted to a studio apartment. The project managers Dorel Zander and Lior Lazrovich, their architect, designers, and work crews were friendly and excellent at what they do. Even with the issues that the City raised about the property and physical challenges, they were willing to work with us, within our budget, to get the job completed within the time frame we were working with. Dorel and Lior stayed in constant contact with us throughout the project, particularly with the stages of the remodel and the city inspections. They were always very responsive to any questions or concerns we had and addressed them fully. The bathroom and kitchenette look terrific. Very pleased with the overall experience.

AA major remodel is a huge commitment and something to not be taken lightly when planned for in advance. We were in the unfortunate situation of needing the remodel after weather damage. While our experience with our homeowners insurance company was anything but pleasant, our experience with Excel construction was top notch. The team led by Eyal was helpful in answering all our questions about dealing with an insurance claim. Meanwhile the day-to-day contact onsite and work lead Audel was an excellent communicator and did impeccable work. Of particular note, the staff at Excel made us feel safe and secure doing work in our house during COVID. After the entire experience, the end result and new kitchen was even better than hoped for. While this was not a renovation we were planning on initially, we couldn't have chosen a better company to execute the work done. We highly recommend them for home renovation projects.

AExcellent! I could not have asked for a better crew. JT, Shaun, Pedro and Kayla were my direct contacts and all were very professional. Western Pacific Roofing came to the rescue just before this last big rain. They were not prepared to repair my roof upon first observation, however, they were able to secure the exposed area so as not to allow further damage from the impending rain storms. AAwesome job on a simple fence that was made much nicer than I could have hoped for. Since the completion of the fence Eric and his crew have remodeled a rental unit (fantastic) have remodeled a kitchen in our residence (beautiful) and countless odd jobs when needed. The crew is always prompt and jobs are done to specification if not Eric will come back and make it right. A hard job, yes but Eric does it all with patience and a bit of humor.

AWill and his team at CXC did a great job replacing a failing stem wall perimeter foundation on my 1920s mid-city home. I bid the project out to six different contractors. His bid came in close to most and it became quickly apparent that his crew would delivery the highest quality and integrity to the job. His ability to accommodate my scheduling needs, the crew's many years of experience and overall professionalism, and the quick communication from the office administration all resulted in a great experience. A big shout out to WILL (Owner), CELSO (Foreman), and ROSANNA (Administration). Word of advice, get multiple bids and always verify general commercial liability insurance and that it covers the type of work that is going to be done. CXC's was easily verified...others were not and in some instance foundation repair was not even underwritten into their policies. CXC is BBB accredited, many others are not. I would not hesitate to work with Will and CXC again on my future projects.
