  • Made a appointment to get and estimate for a one-car Garage Door and they gave me a 3 hour window from 11-1 pm and the sales rep never showed up call the company to find out what happen and they never gave me and answer to why he never showed up, they said they where sorry for the inconvenience and gave me another appointment 3 days later and again the sales rep didn't show up. WTH

  • It went GREAT!  Both guys worked very hard to find the right solution to my problem. They first tried to use double springs (I believe at the request of my brother who oversaw the installation), then went to their truck to get two single heavy-duty springs that worked best for my particular door. They balanced the door perfectly and lubricated all hardware, including the rail that extends to the garage door opener.  When my concern over the age of the door's hardware was brought up and whether I should get it replaced or not, they said I could do that in the future if I would like, but that it was fine for now.  My brother, who is very hard to please and a licensed contractor, was so impressed by these guys that he says he would like to hire them as well!  They were very professional, very knowledgable, and were not satisfied until they got everything as perfect as possible.  I HIGHLY recommend this company. It's so nice to hire people that actually care about their work and take great pride in what they do!

  • The new door was working quietly and smoothly.  Unfortunately, less than three weeks later I heard a pop, saw the release pull string disappear over the top of the door, and the door stuck in a partially open positiion. It was Saturday night at 6 pm, and I was scheduled to leave on vacation the next day at 2 pm. I called and left a voice mail, explaining about the vacation, and I couldn't leave with the door wide open. I got a call back an hour later on Saturday night. Chris said he would come out on Sunday at noon, which he did. The problem was not related to Dan's previous work, and Chris made a quick fix for me at no charge. Now that's service!

  • On August 8, 2009 I called to check on our order (no one had called to provide a status up to that point) and was told it was in and could be delivered later that day. The driver arrived and he and my husband unloaded the door. The hardware was in an opened box and all of the fasteners were in an opened bag spilling into the box. There were separate sealed bags with the decorative door handles. We did not receive Installation Instructions or User Manual with the delivery. Also, we noted some scratches and scrapes on the door and was told touch-up paint would be provided. The following week, I called into the store to request the Installation Instructions, User Manual and touch-up paint and provided my mailing address. As of 8/22/09 I had not yet received the documents, so we obtained the instructions from the Amarr website to begin the installation. On August 22, 2009, we began the installation, came across several issues, and could not complete the installation- Bearings were powder-coated and inoperable, received two right-handed brackets instead of right & left, strut was not powder-coated, top fixture mounts missing, gap between window and cut-out on glass panel, no owner's manual or install instructions provided, overall door size does not fit opening. On August 24, 2009 a detailed letter with photos requesting resolution was emailed and hand delivered along with the defective parts to the store. A reply email was sent on August 29, 2009 addressing all concerns with due dates of September 4, 2009 at the latest. This was an acceptable and timely response, however the date was not met. Since then numerous phone calls (approximate 1 -2 per week) requesting status have placed and the same person answering the phone cannot give me a date when the parts will be delivered. I had sent two emails to the owner and neither have been answered. Because we began the installation and disposed of our old door we are still left with an inoperable garage for over two months and didn't have any idea when it will be resolved. Also we didn?t know if other parts are missing until we completed the installation since we did not receive a detailed parts list. Finally, one of the owners responded on 10/14/09 indicated her personnel had been in contact with me (not that I had made the attempts to call) and that my parts would be delivered on Friday. All of the remaining parts (even though not all were powder coated as we paid for originally) were delivered on 10/16/09 along with a balance due of $98.88 for the sales tax they forgot to charge me! There was no consideration for all of the delays, poor quality or lack of customer service. I paid the tax and expressed my dissatisfaction to the company. They offered me a free alignment service after we completed the install as if to say we would still need their help. We didn't elect to call for any further assistance. At the end of October, we had some extra hardware and completed the installation and the door looks great and operates nicely.

  • It turns out nothing was bent on my hinges, the problem just needed an adjustment. Chris worked quickly and efficiently. The door now closes perfectly for a much lower cost.
