    Five Star Painting of Corona
Without exaggeration, extremely well! I am a very particular and detailed person and did a lot of research before choosing Five Star Painting. I met with Andrew and I was very pleased with his professionalism and attention to detail. Andrew has been excellent at communicating and has gone above and beyond to accommodate us, ease our concerns, and help us out with time crunches, and with many different and unique circumstances. Which has included; a (family death) home sale, meeting association requirements, new move ins, home improvements, and even delicate pregnancy concerns; suggesting a cradle to cradle certification paint with zero VOCs, strength, and odor. In addition, that job was completed before deadline and an unexpected 3 wk early delivery. In our experience Five Star Painting has been very professional, reliable, helpful, conscientious, respectful, and accommodating to the best of their ability. We have always been extremely happy and satisfied with all the work that they perform. Needless to say, I would highly recommend them at anytime! Thank you so much Andrew and the Five Star Painting Team for your hard work, the pride you take in your work, and for taking care of me and my family!

When putting back my condo to pre-construction status, it now looks like sh&t. The owner Bobby Ameen even walked the condo and thought it was a good job. The HOA is now hiring another to come in and fix it. For starters, the top casing on the front door was removed for work, then replaced backwards. Instead of removing and fixing, they just sanded it down. Looks so bad. I had paid a professional to remove my popcorn ceiling and do crown molding, it was beautiful, but now there is over mudding, unfilled nail holes, extreme shrink on caulking, unfixed wall from previous crown molding removal tearing the wall, and the new ceiling has uneven and chunks of mud, and because the didn't tape the ceiling or first attempt the wall, paint was over done and the flat paint doesn't cover the shiny crown paint. Wall texture, not consistent. When challenged with this, they stated I requested the texturing and all I did was ask it to be correct. So I have on one wall two types, and on others dowel marks, scrapes, sander blade marks, etc. They tried to fix things and just didn't send anyone with skills to do it. Beware, that if you don't sign the contract, the CA State Lic Board says you have no case, only the HOA in my case, as they hired 24HRC. The bonding company told me they have multiple claims against them, so don't use this company. Also, These men raised their voices at me when I challenged the quality of work as it was happening, by the general contractor Will, and the finishing supervisor Kyle. In the process of the work, they didn't protect my living quarters and the dust caused breathing issues for me. It took them 2 days to bring in a fan. AND damage to my personal things was just under $1500 in damaged personal items and they haven't reimbursed me, the attorney for the HOA is trying to get it.

    Doctor Patch
I hired Doctor Patch to repair some interior water damage in the entry area of my home. This included ceiling and wall sheet-rock repair, and replacement of a closet door and the associated framing. The job was completed in two working days and the results are beyond my expectation, which essentially means that you can't tell a repair was done. The ceiling, wall, and closet look exactly the way they did prior to the roof leak that caused the damage. The Doctor Patch crew that came to my house were a couple of really nice guys, they worked diligently, and stayed until around 7 PM the second day in order to finish the job on time. I would definitely hire Doctor Patch again if the need arises. Sincerely, Steve A. of Trabuco Canyon, CA

I have to tell ya that my drywall guy is the best drywall guy and the best customer care guy.  It takes him more time to like prep drywall area than it does to do the drywall.  But he's impressive, man.  He puts like three layers of thin set on the ground and I understand that consumers like that; about the prepping and the time and the care and concern, which is almost more important than the actual work itself.  His name is Gary Ross.  The price is fair for the work he does.  I don't mind paying more for being treated well.  I've done business with him for years.  Because I'm in the building business, I can discern the difference between reasonable work and excellent work, and I don't mind paying more for excellent work because I can tell the difference.  The average consumer might not be able to do that.  This is a construction business and I'm a real estate broker, so I use him and refer trades from other people to homes, when my clients are selling their homes, and stuff like that.

    Lev Remodeling
Everything went perfect, He vacuumed all work areas and made sure there were no finger marks on ceiling.  The Dryer vent was a challenge but he created a special wooden box and trimmed it out so it looked clean on the outside wall. The doorbell went in nicely and his drywall patch was smooth and un-noticiable.

    Doctor Patch
Leo is professional; kept us informed of timelines as to when he would have someone here to do the work and when it should be finished.  Clearly communicated the cost.  My impression is that he is honest and trustworthy.  Work was completed to our satisfaction. Would use him again.

James was amazing and professional.  He worked hard the whole time and was able to repair some tough areas.  The final job came out perfect and I felt was priced very fair for the amount of time he put into the job.  I would use him again for sure and have already shared his name with friends that are looking to do some work in the future.

    DelPozo Drywall Repair
I went perfectly.  I had a slab leak and when the plumber was done capping off the leaking line and running a new water line I ended up with 8 holes in the drywall in my garage to get repaired.  I read the great reviews for DelPozo Drywall Repair and contacted him with messages here on Angie's List.  He was prompt in replying.  Then I got his email so I could  sent him photos of the all the holes that I needed repaired.  He gave me the same price that I had received from someone else whot kept flaking out on the job.   Ed told me when he could come and showed up exactly on time.  He and his helper worked quickly, professionally, and got the job done in 2 1/2 hours.  He even covered my car in the garage with fine plastic film.  The work looks great.
