  • 911 restoration met me immediately and arranged all the tests, unfortunate asbestos abatement, and repairs. After attempting to work with another company that was not moving forward with the job, it was a huge relief to work with organized professionals at 911. The room was repaired in time for the tenant to move in and the price for the work was more than fair.

  • My parents decided to move out of state and they told me to come and live in their house so I decided to do some remodeling to the house before I move in. When I was removing the baseboard in the living room I saw black stuff behind it. I was really worried that this might be mold and I don't want my kids to live in a house that has mold. So I looked online for a restoration company and I saw Restoration1's ad and decided to give them a call. Even though it was a saturday they answered the phone right away and offered me a free inspection and they showed up less than an hour later. The guy was very professional he even wore a shoe protection before he enters the house. He checked the area where I found the black stuff and he told me that it was dry and there is no mold. He offered to do a free inspection for the whole house and I said yes! it took him 20 minutes to inspect the whole house and he came back to tell me that there was no sign of any water or mold damage and that my house was clean. I was relieved to hear that my parent's house had no mold even though they have been living in it for a long time. I would definitely use Restoration1 again in case I have any mold damge in the future because they were professional and honest and didn't try to rip me off.

  • The project started as a flooring job and turned into a complete remodel due to a black mold issue between first and second floo. Matthew and Oz helped me every step of the way with design and structual information. The job is beautiful and the contractors were very helpful all the way through the extensive remodel.

  • Ron was the second person we called on our list, and he looked like the right choice from the start. He took measurements, asked the right questions, and had the patience to suffer through all of the questions we had for him (my father, brother, and I.) After two visits, we were able to settle on the project specs. We needed a zoned system for upstairs and downstairs, and a lot of ducting.
Once paid, Ron and one of his men came to do a load calculation, thoroughly measured the space, windows, and insulation quality to size our AC, a 3-ton system. The following week, work began.
Installation took 3 days, and during that time they did all of the work from the specs, laid out new lines to a new compressor on the side of the house. Dust and debris were not issues, and the staff was very clean the whole time. Though Ron initially advised against it, they willingly installed the Nest thermostats we wanted (they tend to confuse some users). By 5 PM on the third day, the system was running at 100%, everything seemed fine, and there was no debris or litter anywhere in the house, or on the driveway. Unfortunately, due to some framing issues with the house, we couldn't have the gas line hidden in the wall on its way up from the old furnace's connection, and we weren't very happy with the A/C lines in the way of our gate, but we didn't want to spend more money chasing these issues, and they were nice enough to put a paintable metal channel over the lines to avoid damage by the gate.
Overall, McMaster Air was very responsive, had lots of helpful information for us, and did a high quality job. The price wasn't amazing, but we'll call it fair given how good the work was.

  • We just completed a whole kitchen remodel with Creative Home Remodeling Group. The finished product is an absolutely stunning kitchen.  I credit Roee Peers, the company representative for convincing me to do the project in the first place. Being a single mom and cash flow being the issue he had me working with financing options, till finally the third option worked. The designer Barry was amazing.  He was able to convert what I wanted done in my kitchen to a drawing and have it executed to my liking and specifications. He was very nice to not fuss when I had a friend of the family, a successful designer, help me make a few changes on the initial drawing and sent back to him The cabinets are top notch and came with beautiful dental crown molding, which make the finish look so much more richer and nicer. My quartz counter top is absolutely beautiful.  We went with dark cabinets and a light counter top. Barry had me upgraded from granite to quartz and I'm beyond grateful. for it. The initial time frame given was three weeks, and it took four in all from start to finish - not bad at all considering the work that was done and the completed product.  Although  .there were some miscommunication issues from time to time, ultimately Creative has to be credited with doing a great job. My only advice to avoid miscommunication in future projects is to determine what exactly you want done and have everything spelled out on the written contract before the start of the remodel.

  • I called Absolute to get a 3rd opinion/price on how to fix a moisture problem under our house that was causing a strong musty smell in the house.  Cam and his team came out quickly to investigate and provided a competitively priced quote for the mold/mildew remediation and vapor barrier installation.  We decided to go with Absolute to do the work because they seemed the most trustworthy of the contractors, and we were not disappointed. They began the work quickly, completed the work on time and where very professional.  Cam continued to investigate until he determined the source of the moisture, and fixed a leaky sprinkler at no additional cost.  The smell began going away almost immediately and was completely gone within a couple days.  I would highly recommend Cam and his team.

  • terrible - we were in place to hire John Asalone/Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling as all the reviews we read from other venues were very favorable. Until..... we made the fatal mistake of calling after hours. We were told his son was always "on call", John also gave us his (John's) cell phone if we needed to reach him so we really did not think we were out of line reaching out to him on a Saturday afternoon.  John told us during our initial meeting, that if he was working on our job and an emergency job came in, he would immediately leave our job as is and tend to the emergency.  We thought that a bit strange but accepted that term.  The other odd item in the estimate was the 50% down payment at the start of the job, the Contractors State License Board specifies 10% or $1000.  We had a quick question about his estimate before signing it and rather than calling John's cell phone on a Saturday afternoon we called the main number.  We explained to the service we had a quick question and what it was about.  A few minutes later, we received a phone call from a very irate and indignant John Asalone, close to screaming at us for simply calling him.  We reminded him he told us his son was on call, he advised us that was for emergencies ONLY and he would now not take the job.  In our opinion he was very unprofessional and his conduct was very inappropriate and uncalled for.  We were very happy to see this side of his demeanor before we signed the contract.  We feel it is important to share the negative comments as well as the good!

  • They had offered a coupon with 10% off for Angieslist members.  I actually was trying to call Angieslist office because they were trying to negotiate from 10% to only 5%.  Eventually they did give me the full 10% discount but they weren’t really forthcoming about it.  They did a fairly good job.  They were a little inconsistent.  I wasn’t unhappy with their service but I felt that they could have done a better job communicating with the person that gave the estimate.  They didn’t do the same job that the person that provided the estimate described.  They took my refrigerator outside and they cleaned it in the open air which I was very unhappy with.  I have two dogs and they jeopardized my dogs’ health.  I expressed my concern and they did spend the time to reassure me that even though they did a different job than what they quoted, they were safe but I am not sure about that.

  • They did an excellent job! I don't think they could have improved. I was amazed at how neatly they were able to clean up the asbestos. They put in a positive pressure system to keep asbestos out of the house as they were in the attic. They were able to gather up all of the ducting, remove all of the asbestos liner of the ducting, bag it, and get it out of the house in a matter of a couple of hours. They were very efficient. Everything was perfectly professional. If I would have done that job, I would have charged twice as much. My wife came home in the middle of everything. She felt they might have been able to do a better job of screening off the attic with plastic sheeting. It was a minor issues and because they were pulling positive pressure, I thought that what they were doing was more than adequate.
