I went to Gladys at Hair Sculptors to have my hair straightened, cut and colored, I was so overly happy with the final results, Gladys is a total perfectionist and she suggested and few tips I should try and boy what great suggestions ,  My wife has been coming here for years and told me that I need to try Gladys out because I keep having horrible service elsewhere ,so I finally did and I dont think Ill be trying anyone else out, I have found my new Beutitian,The shop is so clean and the staff all so friendly and pleasant, Felt super comfortable there at the salon,Gladys even gave me discounts on a couple proceedures just because she felt like it, They of course were welcome. We was having a good time talking as well . By the time I left I felt like I knew Gladys for a long time,I just read some of Hair Scultors reviews which were all so highly rated except there was one really ugly one where someone gave her a F. I cant imagine Gladys ever performing bad service nor can my wife,My wife has never had even a partially bad experience,I almost

    HAIR STORE
We've been going to see Chad for 2-3 years.  He offers a great hair cut at reasonable prices.  His store is clean and staff is professional and courteous.  There's never any foul language which makes it a great place to take my kids to get a haircut.

    La Beaute
There’s hair by Lisa, she works in that salon but that’s a great place because they have…yeah, we want to keep customers coming to them that’s for sure.  Excellent source of beauty supplies and services.

Seems distracted.  This was my second visit with Gladys as I was very pleased with the first visit with her.  This was the second time that I purchased an Angie's List coupon for her.  She told me that this offer is only for first time customers.  I read and reread the offer and there is nothing in the terms that indicate this.  I felt bad about this but I honestly did not know this rule.  My hair did not turn out very good the last time I went.  It was still frizzy and curly and it seems like the product didn't take.  I followed up with all the products that she recommended. She told me that next time she would charge me $150.  My hair is above my shoulders with medium thickness. There are so many other offers online with quality hair salons for $89 and $99 with Groupon, Living Social, etc.  I would be more than happy to pay this price for good results, but with the below average results on my second visit, I will be going elsewhere.

The owner was very responsive and accommodating in scheduling my appointment. When I arrived for my appt., I was informed of an additional charge for long hair that I had not read before in the fine print. Overall, I was pleased with the customer service and treatment.

Average to slightly below average skills, high prices. I should have known -- the woman did not have a single customer on Saturday morning from me at 10 am until her next at 2 pm -- what does that tell you? Her shop (in antyhing-but-posh area) is hard to locate and she had 2-3 other hairfressers who each had one customer, then left. In short, you could just about throw a cow through her shop on a Sat and not hit anyone - again, what does that tell you? And she says she's been in business for ages. She simply does not have the clientele - this should give you a hint.
I've had my hair done regularly from about 30 years - from Supercuts to (literally) a regular hairdresser on Rodeo Drive -- so I do know hairdressers. This woman's claim-to-fame isskill at Brazilians. ok,she does those fine - not great. just fine. But how many hairdressers have asked you if you want the grey hair grow-out covered in addition to doing color and tints/hightlight??? I mean, those grey roots so so-o-o-o fashionable, right? Particularly when I explained that was why I was coming in. She also has NO CLUE what it means to make the bottom layers darker - the color came out like one of my cheap, synethic wigs.

She also had no clue how to color eyebrows - and I've had mine done by many hairdressers -- e.g., using the bottle, so the stuff could drip into my eyes. And then she tells me the "color isn't taking." Baloney! No one else with any skill had that problem. SHe simply obviously had never done it before and didn't have a clue -- and just wanted the business when she said she
had exerience doing it She obviosuly has not done it much, if ever..
client relations: She's high pressure when it comes to pushing the hair products in her shop - and she pushes the costliest ones, too.   It doesn't help when the women can't talk with you becauswe she's too busy "concentrating," counting to 10, each time she uses the comb. I mention to her that I'd had a head injury and had some short-term member problems. THIS DOES NOT MEAN I CANNOT remember parts of a conversation while it;s happening - it means over weeks and a few months there can be problems. This women told me, "well, you're forgetting parts of this conversation." great client relations, huh? Meanwhile, SHE was forgetting things I had said only minutes before -- probably because she  just wasn't listening. BTW - doesn't she know that ever car mechanics make a token offer these days to give customers a courtesy cut of coffee????
    Cut was average.

Her prices are high -- you'd think she had a che che shop in Newport Beach. it's not - it's a bit on the dumpy side. I dont mind paying a lot if the skill is there. It's not.
Save your money. For this skill level, GO to a place like Supercuts if that's the skill  level you want. She's not worth what she charges.

I bought the deal for my daughter to get her hair done.  I already knew it would cost more due to the length of her hair.  When we arrived I was informed that the stylist wanted to first relax her hair and then have us come back for the Brazilian treatment in a week.  This was out of the question due to the distance from our home, plus it was an extra $100.00.  We agreed she would just get the treatment I'd already paid for.  It took longer than quoted, but I think this was just due to the thickness/length of my daughter's hair.  Her hair looked great when she was done.  I wouldn't use them again primarily because of the distance.

My appointment was at our agreed time and the person doing my blowout was punctual.  Very friendly,  nice environment and the job was done great.  The process was different than previous one's I have had, (less time) with noticeably better results.  It's now been over 6 weeks and my hair is much easier to manage.  I would definitely go back

I feel the need to preface this statement by saying that I have really long hair (Gladys measured it after cutting it and it was still 35-inches long).  I am really particular about allowing anyone to touch my hair for fear of ruining it.  While I love the length of my hair, I do NOT love the texture of it.  I have heard about Brazillian Blowouts for a while (friends and family members have had it done), but I was nervous about putting chemicals in my hair and causing damage.  With that being said, this fantastic deal came up from Angie's List for a Brazillian Blowout.   I did some research, I looked into the salon, read the reviews, and I spoke directly with Gladys prior to purchasing the coupon and felt completely secure in the knowledge that she would take care of my and especially my hair.  She promised that my hair would be healthy and gorgeous.  So I made the appointment!  When I had spoken to Gladys she was very clear on the instructions so that I wouldn't be lost so I was able to find the location without a problem.  When I walked in she greeted me warmly and was waiting to help me right away.  After changing into a smock and getting my hair washed, she started with the procedure.  She explained what she was doing each step of the way so that I knew what was going on.  She used authentic products.  And when all was said and done she delivered as promised - silky, gorgeous, healthy, luxurious hair (if I do say so myself).   I have gotten a million compliments since getting it done.  So thank you Gladys!  I highly recommend her!!!
