We met on-site 10/27/18 (person was one hour late to appointment) and viewed the job to which I was told they would send a quote within a couple of days. Despite several email and phone call follow-ups, no response. Several weeks later when Lucy finally did respond (11/18), I was told that their person had been busy and would get me a quote by the end of the week. Again, nothing received after that despite Angies list emails and direct phone calls. As such, I know nothing about their work performance, but their customer respect leaves something to be desired. If they decide they don't want to quote a job, just say so instead of stringing a person along for over a month. Being busy is not a valid reason not to provide simple response communication.

    Tibi Home Design INC.
They came for an estimate, took measurements, and we were promised an estimate in three days. In the interim, company rep called and asked for feedback and to schedule follow-up. We explained that we had not received the estimate yet. Company rep assured us we would have estimate the next day. Then nothing. Three weeks later company rep called again to see how things were going. I explained to her that her estimator had never gotten back to us with an estimate. We had given up on them and moved on to a company that does what it says it will do.

    Zapara & Sons
Everything went great! They showed up when they said, had good ideas on design and we are more than pleased with the result. The Zaparas are the easiest contractors we've ever used. Nice, friendly and competent - who could want more? We have another project in the works!

Anderson Design Kitchen & Bathroom Remodel
The Anderson Design bid was complete, had no surprises, and Jason himself was extremely responsive, enthusiastic, creative and easy to work with. Jason suggested draftsman and structural engineers who did excellent work at reasonable prices and took care of the entire permitting process. Jason thought the work would be done in 8 weeks (I thought it would be a wee bit longer) and it was, largely because the stove I ordered (Blue Star) took longer than anticipated to be built and delivered to San Diego. After 12 weeks I has an absolutely stunning new kitchen that has all of the features I wanted. Working with Jason was a dream. His subcontractors were all polite, professional and easy to have in our home. When there were problems, as invariably there are, Jason held all of the subs accountable and work was redone to his satisfaction and ours. Because our home was old we encountered some unique challenges (lathe and plaster walls, old wiring etc that wouldn't accommodate lights I had ordered for instance.) Jason ALWAYS came up with creative solutions. One example, I was worried about water dunning off a counter, so Jason designed a custom draining system utilizing a long French drain. When the "appliance lifter" for my food processor couldn't be installed because of the cabinet size Jason built one himself that is amazing. Jason listed to all of my ideas, made changes and was flexible during the entire process. He returned phone calls and texts immediately and managed all aspects of the project in a professional manner. My husband and I are so pleased with the quality of the materials used, the workmanship and our beautiful new kitchen. Thank you Jason and team!

    Thead's Custom Cabinetry
I contacted Jim Thead via Angie's List about building a custom double vanity cabinet according to my specifications.  Since I live out of state most of the year, I wanted someone who would be willing to communicate by phone, or email.  Jim was responsive and eager to take on the project.  I proceeded to send Jim a file containing an illustration and measurements of the piece I wanted.  One concern of mine was coordinating the construction of the base cabinet with the fabrication of the stone top and sink assembly.
This was not a problem with Jim.  On a previous visit to San Diego, I had found and reserved a stone remnant from a stone fabricating business.  Jim assured me that he used reputable fabricator who would pick up the stone and cut and fabricate to specifications.
The piece was constructed and finished in a timely manner.  Jim and my contractor  worked out the time frame.  All work took place without me even having to meet in person.
I just arrived to spend the summer in our home here in CA.  I was thrilled with the artistry an quality of the work!  The detailing inside and outside of the piece was perfection.  My husband and I couldn't be happier.
At first I though the pricing was a little high, but now I see that the fine quality is worth the cost.  We plan to remodel our kitchen in the future and I would use Thead's in a heartbeat!

We live in Phoenix and own a condominium on Coronado.  We contracted with Duane Borad (owner of Inline Tile and Stone) and couldn't be happier with the work he did for us. We originally planned to travel back and forth to monitor the renovation but it quickly became apparent that with Duane that would not be necessary.  Duane was in communication with us every day and even sent pictures of the progress at the end of each day.  He is an experienced contractor and advised and guided us on many issues or potential issues both related and unrelated to the work he was performing (the condominium building was built in 1969.)  The quality of work was stellar and the condominium was spotless when he left.  He promptly returned phone calls, texts, and emails.  We highly recommend Duane and would contract with him again.

    A-Team Residential Remodeling
Our home was built in 1938 and we wanted to maintain the intergity of the home with the bathroom remodels.  We had done considerable research and thought we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted done, a reasonable timeline, the scope of the work  and cost of the project.  We initially set up an appointment in our home with A-Team based on their reputation on Angie's List.  We instantly clicked with Jeff.  He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable regarding the scope of bathroom remodels in a 75 year old house.  Within a week he presented us with a contract that included  costs for labor, electrical, plumbing and miscellanous construction costs.  The estimate did not include cabinets, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures or accessories, which is exactly how we wanted it to control the cost and quality of the materials.  The contract was clear, concise and included a managable payment schedule.  There was no guess work or grey areas, we knew exactly what to expect for the 6 weeks of the project.  Due to our travel schedule, we scheduled the start date for 2 months from the signing of the contract.  The A-Team crew showed up on the start date, on time, ready to start.  They were professional, efficient, cooperative and created a cohesive work environment for the next 7 weeks.  They took every effort to minimize the impact of the project on the rest of the house, at the end of each work day the work area was cleaned, tools put away.  They managed the project so there were at all times facilities available allowing us to remain living in the house during the remodel.  Once into the project there were some unexpected issues pertaining to original plumbing and electrical as would be anticipated in an old house.  Jeff and his crew were able and willing to take on the extra projects without missing a beat.  We also added to the scope of the project once underway, which added only one week to the completion, remarkable!  We could not be happier with the outcome.  The bathrooms are beautiful and efficient.  We would highly recommend Jeff Raleigh's A-Team and his crew for any home project. The project was completed within our timeline, budget and exceeded our expectations.   We are planning on doing some additional remodeling in the coming year and will be calling on them again.

    Superior Kitchen & Bath, Inc.
It went excellent. We were very pleased. It was exactly the price they quoted me. They didn't leave any mess. Anytime they were using anything that created dust they put up a barrier and also vaacuumed it up at the end of each day.

    Superior Kitchen & Bath, Inc.
The quality was excellent. They were very creative with the design, working with the owner of the company. They had a lot of flexibility with design changes. Their prices were mid-range of the other companies. They were very prompt, the workers were able to adjust quickly to change and their follow up and overall promptness was excellent. The real advantage was dealing with the owner directly. The workers were also very professional and courteous.

    Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen
I was so pleased with the remodel of my master bathroom that I turned around and hired them to remodel the other bathroom as well. They do everything from the design work to the installation. All the contractors work for them and are not sub contractors. The pricing is a lot lower then normal considering the work and the materials I wanted. I knew what I wanted and I told them that they needed to tell me if my ideas would all work together. We did a layout and went through everything. Any little problems they had they always made right. The guy that was in charge of the designing and his assistants craftsmanship was outstanding and great work. They started and completed exactly when they said they would. They never left a speck of dirt at the end of the day. They were very puctual and got thing done in a timely manner.
