  • It was fine but I was told that I was getting a great "Angie's deals" price to replace my garage door rollers. I paid $150. The very next week I saw an ad from the same company for less than half what I paid. I felt taken advantage of.

  • mike q. was great! he called about 10 min before he arrived (as scheduled) to tell me he was on his way, he was patient while i hunted for the lost key to the garage amongst all our moving boxes, he listened to our requests and didn't mind working around all our stuff packed into our garage, he worked alone for maybe 10 min, then met me back at the garage door. he had fixed the partial closing and explained that there is too much metal in the garage door to just bend it back. he was also honest enough to admit that since the bend didn't inhibit function, we would only need to replace the double door for $900 if we cared about what it looked like. he left his business card by the garage door controls in the garage which was helpful because i'd lose it otherwise! we can hardly see the bend in the door at all so we've decided not to replace the door, but you can bet that as soon as we ARE ready to replace this door, we won't even bother shopping around when we've already found such an honest company!

  • I called for someone to come out to look at my garage door to be serviced. A third party Superior contracts with came out, no mention that that would take place, and wants a $100 deposit to come back with parts (a strut for support on the door's bottom panel), has a black invoice with no letterhead or card or anything for the company. His number was a Los Angeles number, I'm calling a local company and when I called the company to communicate my concerns (same number I called originally and same number I got from Angie's List), they answered "Hello", I asked what company this is and they said it was something completely different than a Garage Door company. I told them my concerns and that I wanted to cancel my business with them, the lady said "ok", I asked "that's all you've got to say is OK?" and she hung up, Brutal. So many red flags.

  • I called Rick on the morning of Monday October 3, 2016 and he was at my front door that afternoon. I had just moved into a new home and was having trouble programming my garage door remote. Rick came by to help me out. Turns out that at some point someone had changed out the controller on the garage door and the code was now set by switches instead of intellicode. To make matters worse the dip switches were hidden inside the unit which had to be disassembled in order to access them. None of this was an issue for Rick who had new remote programed and working in about 10 minutes. He then noticed that the arm the connect the screw drive to the door itself was installed correctly so he fixed that while he was at it. I was so impressed with his work that I hired him to install new door opener for the 3rd car garage which didn't have one. He quoted me a price and we agreed on the date for the install. The next week Rick showed up on time with the new garage door open and installed it in about an hour.

  • The thing about it is first I told them that I wanted what Angie’s List said because they tried to charge me six-hundred and some dollars’ worth of work. Then, the technician got kind of upset because I said I do not want it. I told them just to do what Angie’s List told them to do and that is what happened. He was in conference with his boss I guess because I was out there in the garage with him. I would never use them again. He came out right away. I told him what we were going to do and said that everything charted on the list, he was going to tell me when he was going to do it and I would take it off. That is how we did that. With everything that was going on, he remained professional. They should know what they are going to do before they get out there and he checked it out and everything. I kept saying Angie’s List and then, he kept saying that this is what I found. The thing about is just do what you are told. Do not try to gouge any more money or anything like that.

  • Our garage door was making a popping noise when opening.  We called One Stop Garage Doors at 9:30 AM and Raphael said he would have a technician come out before noon.  The tech came out right on time and evaluated the garage door.  He spent about 10-15 minutes evaluating the garage opening and closing.  He examined all parts of the door and hardware.  He could find anything wrong and gave us peace of mind that the door was operating properly.  He also gave us some preventative maintenance tips and a helpful lessen in the mechanics of the system!  He did not charge us anything for the visit.  I will absolutely call Raphael and One Stop Garage Doors again if I need any future help, and you should too!

  • They responded right away and came to service my door the same day. Very professional. The service man fixed up our door with the minor adjustments it needed and taught me how to take care of things in between professional tune-ups. Very satisfied.

  • Rick was awesome!  Of the 3 companies I spoke to before choosing this one, Rick was by far the most knowledgeable about my garage door problem.  He arrived on time, worked very efficiently and was very thorough.  He was also very honest, helpful and courteous.  I would definitely recommend him and I would DEFINITELY hire him again!

  • This is the 3rd time I have used Rick and Best Value Garage Doors. He promptly arrived at the scheduled time. Rick quickly assessed the problem and explained his fix. The repairs were done quickly and effectively. While Rick was there he even serviced the second garage door. Both doors and openers now work great.
