  • I hired built strong for a leveling and earthquake retrofitting job. I was extremely pleased with the inspectors knowledge and professionalism. The crew that worked on my home was extremely professional and very pleasant. The work exceeded our expectations! Definitely A+

  • I will always use Ozzie and Uneek Landscape. He is a visionary with seeing lines, and how to get the best and most attractive use of space as well as plant selection, custom concrete finishing, beautiful stucco and bar tops...just great work. We are embarking on another project with Uneek now and our latest house. Complete patio cover, concrete, landscaping, planting etc. He is the best!

  • We are so glad we found Earthworks Grading via Angie's List. We went through a couple of other companies who gave us outrageous quotes and were very hesitant to work on our property due to the tight squeeze and somewhat blocked off yard with a lot of obstacles. But Cody gave us a great inclusive quote that included the hauling off of the dirt as well. His crew always arrived on time and on point. The job is not finished yet but it's about 90% done, going on week 4 now. They have gone above and beyond to make the project work. They are trust worthy to leave alone on our property while we go to work during the day. They always clean up afterwards. And now that the hole is ready and the actual project to bury our bunker into the hole, they have also become involved with this aspect, even though it has nothing to do with the digging anymore. So very helpful. They have a great and friendly crew and have gained new experience in how to work with bunkers. They are very knowledgeable and have lots of connections if you need other work done. My husband is very happy with them and will recommend them highly and probably refer them to his colleagues. Thanks Earthworks!!!

  • I called Evans Leak Detection after a neighborhood plumber botched a leak repair job. I called late on a Friday afternoon. The owner, Patrick, took my call and listened to my concerns. Patrick was extremely helpful in offering guidance which may have driven me to call the local company to come repair their poor work. Given my lack of confidence in the local company and their lack of professionalism, I opted to "start over" with Patrick and his company. Am I glad I did! First, Patrick worked late into Friday evening to see if he could coordinate his team's schedule to come to my house over the weekend. We decided on a Monday morning appointment. On Monday, Evans Leak Detection came to my house on time and in uniform. The plumber (I cannot remember his name!) was very professional and courteous. He assessed the situation and confirmed that the prior plumber did a terrible job. In fact, his assessment was that the prior plumber fixed the wrong pipe and didn't fix the leak at all. He showed us how he was able to make this assessment so that we would understand that we did not have a second leak - - - the original leak was not repaired. He fixed the slab leak AND reconnected the piping that the other plumber had cut to bypass the supposed original leak. He also disassembled the unsightly contraption that the other plumber had rigged to bypass the leak. When Evans Leak Detection left, my water meter had stopped spinning and a stressful week of issues stopped spinning out of control. I hope to not have another slab leak but if I do, Evans Leak Detection is #1 on my list to call.

  • Nick responded to my requests through Angie's List.  All other handymen on Angie's List never responded to email or phone calls.  Nick showed up on time, reviewed what was needed, bought the parts and fixed.  He went through all the options for the type of light switch I might want, explaining what each one did.

I'm very satisfied and will call Nick again.

  • Well, first of all just found out that Abel is not licensed.  We were told that the entire floor project would take 4 days, well it took over one month.  His workers/crew were in my home unsupervised (that's my fault)- they uncovered my TV and watched soccer, left their food and drinks all over my house, brought their kids to work and let them play in my daughter's rooms and even take naps in their beds. Their toys and personal items were destroyed and all Abel could say was "Sorry that has never happened before".  We asked him to come to assess the damage and discuss the progress of the project at our home and he never once came out.  The floor was eventually finished, but the grout is 2 different colors.  The baseboards were finished but need redone, because of bad corner work and paint. (They painted them bright white and got the paint on my existing brown walls and door frames) Abel would not come out to see this damage after asking him many times to come out.  The fireplace tile was replaced and is crooked, unfinished and they even forgot to put in the valve for the gasline?  Now on to the bathroom, Abel sent in a crew to work that did not speak any English what so ever.  We couldn't communicate with them at all.  Some days they would show up and some days not.  They would leave for long lunch breaks.  They left the job unfinished because Abel said he needed his final payment to keep his workers "motivated". The contract states that the final payment is not due until bathroom completion.  So since we refused to pay him until he fixed all of the other botched work and finish the bathroom, he abandoned the job.  The tools, tile cutter, everything his crew used is still here for a month now.  The tiles that were set in the shower are falling off the walls.  The shower itself was not waterproofed, the floor is not slanted for proper drainage and the dimensions are wrong so that my toilet will no longer fit.  We have had 5 licensed contractors come out who all say the entire thing needs to be torn out to be done properly and are so surprised that Flip this Kitchen is responsible for this work.  Please don't be fooled by this amazing, beautiful showroom that Abel has.  He won't return phone calls and only corresponds through texting.  I have asked Abel numerous times to please come out and fix the wrongs and finish the job right and he will no longer respond.  Don't be fooled like we were.

  • Bill got to my house and went right to work. He was very professional and as I am not well versed on plumbing he explained in detail what I needed to know. It's rare that you find someone who responds as quickly and professionally as Bill at Rush Plumbing and Rooter. Would definitely use him again. He will now be my go to plumber. His front office gal Cheryl is awesome. When she says she will call you back She Does!!!!!!

  • I got a great bid for removal of 900 sq ft of concrete plus the addition of 4 concrete steps on each side of my yard for $2900. I called the contractor back to see about scheduling a time for him to do the job and no response. My husband and I both called and sent emails and nothing! Totally unprofessional.

  • looked up septic tank companies not a lot with reviews that did pumping so went with bill miller great choice because he came out on time which not easy with the horrible traffic on 91 and 15, started right away and emptied main tank and cess pool which was thirty feet from main tank and did not know about it, but didn't stress over it or nothing. All done in bout hour and good price cause i did look around i bit, i will use again.
