    It went very well. Service Champions called me and made appointment. Service technician turned up on time. Service office called me ahead of time to advise technician on his way together eith his name and photo. He wore booties inside the home and took care to protect everything and advise me what he found with photos.

    Although we do not use our heaters in colder weather all that much, it was time to replace the existing pair, upstairs and downstairs. Contact began with Matt who was extraordinarily responsive, courteous, and experienced. With a nice discount for the installation and replacement of the heater pair in the proposal, the work was scheduled. The crew showed up exactly as scheduled. All three fellows were extremely skilled and the work was completed efficiently. The workmanship was impeccable. A small non-essential piece of the installation did not go forward, so Yaeger returned $75.00 of the monies paid for the total project. Great service, great guys, great referral. And now we've got heaters in the cool months (if they ever return)

    I'd say the experience was one of ebb and flow. The plus or flow: all conversations with the owner John White - super responsive and customer oriented; Steve Pannel provided a detailed assessment and quote; the quote was reasonable in terms of time, quality, and money, and he answered lots of questions; the installers did a great job, started and ended on time, focused on a high quality and detailed installation, left the job site in great condition; and the Lenox products work great. The minus or ebb: the front office really lacked follow-up or follow-through, including with phone calls and faxes, last minute forms, and especially ball drops around scheduling inspectors to close the job after installation - all eventually got done (and no problems with inspection) but boy did we need to chase things down, without John's help this would have been difficult.

    Original Technician came out on 12/24.  Stated nothing was wrong with it.  On 12/28 had the same issue.  I called the company on 12/29 and they said they would call me back to schedule another appointment.  They never called me back so I was forced to find another company that will help with my heater.  This is very unprofessional business practices and I will not recommend them to anyone.

    Pink Heating and Air
    Pink Heating and Air came out to my home to give an estimate for a new air conditioning unit, he quoted the total job would be $5290 and nothing more. After giving me the estimate I asked if I can have a contract with that price to make sure no additional cost could be added, he stated he would send that contract over. Today he sent technicians out to my home to provide a new air conditions unit, while in my attic I received a cll from the owner stating they could not replace my air conditioning unit until replacing a heating unit. I asked if there would be any additional cost for that, he then states yes, it would be additional $2600 for the heating unit. While speaking with him I stated when we discussed pricing I asked if you were sure the price would not change and that it would cover everything? He stated yes! I also asked him multiple times if he wanted to check out my attic prior to quoting the job, he said no I don't need to take a look due to I already know what's up there. I decided to end this agreement with this company.

    The owner was the person that came out. He did a great job! He didn’t try to push more services on me, and worked very quickly. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. The price was very reasonable.

    We went to Angie's list and contacted Bill and Trish. Bill came out immediately and was clean, professional and great with our dogs. Without telling him what the other company had recommended he stated that our systems were clean and in excellent condition. He quickly figured out the issue of the system turning itself on and off by itself was a faulty thermostat.. He replaced both at a cost of 290.00. He also told us where to get the filters directly to save money and gave us a MFG rebate coupon that gets us $40.00 back on the Thermostats.
    We cannot recommend Bill and Trish highly enough for their ethical and professional behavior. Very refreshing in today's world.

    I am very cranky when I get lousy service, so I feel it is important to commend anyone who gives me excellent service.
    Our furnace died suddenly .   I was well aware that immediate plumbing and heating service tends to be too expensive and orientated to selling as much as repairing, and that was what I initially got from the first person who came by to repair what, it turned out, needed to be replaced.  
    Next was Gary from Air Vista.  He did what I might have hoped our small company might have done if we were in that business.  He recommended a perfectly good quality two stage furnace, and when asked, a separate air filter device which removes air impurities when the furnace is not running.  He didn't try to up sell us.  His price, which I confirmed by getting two other estimates, was more than reasonable.  Within a day or so after we agreed on his price, he showed up and replaced everthing without fanfare or hassle. 
    That's the story.  What's my suggestion?  Don't go anywhere else.  Don't waste your time.  Call Gary.  Otherwise you might end up cranky like I have been in the past when I have made a bad choice in vendors and ended up experiencing something straight out of Saturday Night Live.
