Electrician reviews in Corona Del Mar

    Floor Expert
Abdullah has ever been the most responsive and considerate contractor I worked with. In addition to the flooring installation Id originally commissioned him for, he provided invaluable plumbing and then extensive electrical services offering outstanding design suggestions. Repeatedly throughout my remodeling any text or call I would make was responded to immediately and he would come to help very quickly. His professional and considerate, gracious manner were very special.

    Excellence Electric
This company is great! I love them because every time I needed something they just did it and they didn't even charge me for a number of extras that I expected they would. I was amazed at how well they took care of everything, even thinking of things that I hadn't anticipated. I felt I could totally trust Excellence Electric, who lived up to their name. I know that if I ever have a problem they will respond promptly.

    RS Electric LLC
One of the switches did not fit the box in the wall, Ray suggested to replace it with an appropriate in-wall box. Job went very smooth. I had called in the morning for a job the next day. Ray called me a little later and asked me if he could come over the same day. Since we were putting in a new floor and all furniture had been stacked in the middle of the room by then it was an ideal time to get the job done. I am very pleased.

    Zubiate Enterprises
    1. I called about 8 electricians from Angie's List on a Saturday, 4 returned/texted my calls and only two were able to show up on the following Monday, Zubiate being one of the two
    2. Richard was on time, professional and did clean work.
    3. He honored a $25 coupon from Angie's List
    4. If pricing is not your top criteria on choosing an electrician, Zubiate would be a good choice.

    Sage Interior Inc
After a series of unsatisfactory interviews with a number of kitchen contractors, I finally found Sage Interiors and its owner, Majid Kiani, on Angie's List.  What struck me immediately was the large number of excellent recommendations Sage had previously received focusing on quality, timely, reasonably priced services.  What I was not expecting was Majid's excellent design sense as well.  Our relationship, including the very helpful Ken Renfro, was constructive from the very beginning.  My wife and I are acutely critical buyers of remodeling services, having done lots of repairs and renovations on numerous properties over the past forty years or so.  Our demands are always very high and our resulting services--based on past experiences--have often been compromised.  Not in this case.  In this case our goals were, if anything exceeded.
First was the design.  We were not looking for the standard suburban kitchen by any means.  We wanted something that was personalized and expressed our unique family likes and history.  It also had to conform to the difficult structural limitations we had run into.     Load bearing demands required that we live with awkward existing wall openings.  Space limitations demanded that we maximize what was available. Budget considerations were important but with big expectations nevertheless.  Looking back, we sound like classic nightmare clients.  Complicated remodel requirements.  Heightened design needs.  And, of course, a tight budget.  Majid nevertheless patiently walked through the numerous ideas we had and was thrilled rather than put off by the stack of interesting kitchen designs we had collected. He simply worked with us until we arrived at suitable plans and specifications.
Second were the materials.  Bamboo ply throughout with exposed edges.  Beautiful chocolate coloration.  Contrasting but complimentary dark quartz counter tops and splash boards.  Brushed stainless backings and hardware.  Extensive lighting.  All customized to our expectations.  Numerous discussions in the planning process, no impatience on the part of Sage.
Next, demolation and reconstruction.  We knew how difficult it is to estimate this aspect of renovations.  You never know what you will run into, even in relatively modest circumstances where no load bearing alterations were required.  The Sage crew worked around this well.  Very good cleanup, no delays.  Responsive and polite work crew.  Kept reasonably within estimated budget.
Fourth and final: cost.  This is where the homeowner is most vulnerable.  At the very least, detailed budgeting is essential in order to avoid misunderstandings.  At worst, the significant disparity of knowledge between the typical homeowner and the provider can lead to significant and unnecessary expensive, whether it be a contractor, a sub, or even, as in our case, a very deceptive engineer (in our opinion) whom we walked away from earlier in our planning stage.  Here again, Sage came through for us.  We came out very close to budget.  At no time did we feel disadvantaged.  Straightforward dealings throughout.
Hey.  In review, this may sound like an advertising.  It isn't.  I am a real crank when my wife and I are not treated well.  In fairness, that means that I need to be sure to compliment those we get good service from.  Don't take my word for it, however.  Put Sage on your list of possible contractors, meet with them, See if you don't reach the same conclusions my wife and I did.

    The Electrician
George arrived on time despite bad weather conditions.  He is obviously very experienced and well versed in his trade.  He is friendly and respectful.  All very positive traits.
My job consisted of adding a switch and running new wires about 5-6 ft to add a new light in a closet, as well as patching up the drywall that needed to be cut.  George arrived at 9:00 and completed the job at 1:00pm (he took a 30 minute lunch).  I also asked him to fix a Z-wave 3 way switch, but George briefly took a look and told me that these new radio-frequency switches are not his specialty.   Total bill for materials and labor ran $357.
I think for electrical work (or any job in general) it is wiser to negotiate a price per job rather than price per hour.

    Armes Electric Inc
Great experience. They were very nice, professional and called before they arrived. They worked quickly and explained everything clearly.  They fixed the problem and wrote everything they did down on the invoice. Good price. I would definitely call them again. Thank you very much!

    Mr Cabinet Care
After 5 months of searching for a kitchen company, I found Mr. Cabinet Care. They were quick to answer their phones, and set up an appointment. The sales person was timely and explained their process in great detail. He also explained that the employees were not contractors and they were experts in their work. He provided pictures of client work and was very attentive to our needs. He worked out a price, including the granite on the spot. We had other quotes, and this was very competitive. We signed on the spot. The office called to book the next series of appointments. We had another person come and remeasure and build the plans. We asked to choose our granite from a slab and they connected us with their stone yard. We also met with their tile people. Everyone was on the ball, and kept their appointments. The tear out was one day and the person left our house very clean. The installation was over 4 days and each craft did a nice job, leaving the site clean at the end of the day. I am very pleased with the work, the price and the professionalism of the company. I would happily recommend them. I think that they would be very good for older people and people who appreciate polite service as well as a competitive price. That is a rare thing. Thanks to the team.

    CGS Electric
I had trouble with a ceiling fan light. The previous service provider caused damage to the lamp portion of the ceiling fan.
Claudio arrived early, assessed the problem and made all necessary repairs in a timely manner.  I plan to use CGS for additional electrical work in the near future
