    Davis Pro Builders, INC.
I was introduced to owner Brandon Davis of Davis Pro Builders via an app I was using while looking for contractors to do renovations on a new home our family had just purchased. The home was in decent condition but hadnt been updated since built 40 years ago. His response was prompt. We planned to meet and discuss project. Must admit, I was surprised and somewhat taken aback at his youthfulness given the type of job he was coming to bid for. Concerns were somewhat alleviated when I learned of his back story, how he came into his knowledge and experience and his journey to becoming a business owner. Right away I could tell he took pride in his work. He showed what few pictures he had available, explaining the technical intricacies that went into the work that he displayed. We discussed what I was looking for, he listened to my ideas, chimed in with some of his own, took measurements for his bid and stated that he could work with my budget. Given the prices of other contractors I had interviewed, his bid was reasonable, so I decided to work with him. I am glad I did. His attention to detail is refreshing. He is a jack of all trades and master of many when it comes to home renovations. Those he is not a master of, he is honest about and researches and seeks expert counsel from others he knows in the business. He proudly explains all his work to you, particularly the things that are usually unseen and unnoticed by the homeowner but will add longevity to your investment. He appreciates and takes his time with the visible and not so visible aspects of the renovations. He listens to your ideas, has good ideas of his own, will work directly with you when choosing finish products/materials and tries to keep things within budget. He evens throws in unexpected surprises for the homeowner that adds to the overall project (i.e. auto shut off lights, auto on and off bathroom ceiling fans, outlets with usb ports, hard wiring smoke detectors, lubing floor joists to minimize floor creaks in an old house). He is amenable to changes or additions to original plans (I added a couple of projects including hanging a couple of flat screen tvs and running cable and wiring through wall for a clean, professional look, and electrical wiring for a spa I purchased). He is very prompt in responding to inquiries, questions and/or suggestions (no matter how annoying). He does most of the work himself or with his brother Jamal who was also delightful, friendly and very knowledgeable. They essentially gutted and completely remodeled the inside of our 4-bedroom 2-bathroom 1900 sf home. Of course, no project goes perfectly smooth without any issues. The project took much longer than expected-I believe largely because he was doing the work by himself or with his brother- and some timelines were missed. Occasional miscommunication regarding price/materials/timelines. Problems with some of the installs, but these were quickly resolved. Despite initial apprehension, he did a great job. We are very happy with the results. We receive consistent compliments on our home. He and his brother are knowledgeable, personable and dependable with attention to detail. I will be hiring him again and have already made several referrals to other friends and family. If your looking for a contractor for your project-big or small-you should give him a try.

I just finished a 6 week project and was very impressed with S&Ls work ethic and overall workmanship. Jeckob was easy to work with, and his guys are also exceptional. They updated our master bath and two other smaller bathrooms, and laid the kitchen backsplash. Our master bath looks especially gorgeous with literally no flaws. We had 3 shower heads installed requiring new piping and everything was still completed on time. They were with me until every handle was in place and even cosmetic pieces were hung and in place. No stone was left unturned. In a day where it is extremely difficult to find a reliable contractor, I would highly recommend Jeckob and his team and have already recommended them to friends and family.

    Everlast Construction
I would say the "best " Design Build company in the East Bay. They stand by their code of ethics and trust. The Design process through the construction process is one of the best I have seen. The construction process is enjoyable and Ariel makes it fun. The process started with a free design consultation with David and Ariel, who were such a pleasure to work with, and who seemed genuinely excited to work within the somewhat unusual parameters of our project (a second story on our detached garage to add an artist's studio, storage and guest quarters). Our project manager was Gideon. After working with him closely for a good six months, I have to say that he will be missed!!! He was very patient, attentive, and prompt at addressing any questions or concerns, and handled requests for changes gracefully.

    M&M Construction & Home Design
Eli said that I will love my kitchen when it's done. He's right; I totally love it. You can't tell that there was ever a wall in the middle of my new space. The guys who hung my cabinets were total pros; everything is flush and level; no scratches on the finish. The counter top is a work of art; all of the custom cuts are perfect. The tile work is excellent, both on the backsplash and the floor. The wood flooring looks beautiful. They did a great job installing the appliances; all of them function perfectly. Just tell Eli if you don't like the way something turned out, and he will have it fixed to your satisfaction. He also did not overcharge for change orders. I had that problem with a previous contractor. M&M Construction has the architect and engineer in house, so when the original plans submitted to the city didn't work out because the structure of my house was different than expected after they opened up the walls, he was able to submit alternative plans to the city at no additional charge to me. I would highly recommend M&M Construction.

    Green Bay Remodeling Inc
My experience with Green Bay Remodeling was perfect. We had just lost our Mother and moved into her house. Since she didn't use the bathroom for a while we found a hole had rusted into the bathtub and we needed to replace it. We shopped around and found Bath Fitters was willing to do the job for $8K and finish it in one-day. We trusted them. It took them 2 months to get the pre-fab materials they used to do the job. Then it took another 2 months to not even come close to completing the job. When the demo day finally came with Bath Fitters, we got a stop work order from the city because they tried to do the job without getting a permit. That caused more delays. When they pulled out the tile they didn't notice a section of the wood that was dry rot. As the project went on with Bath Fitters they continued to fail inspection and used drywall in the shower instead of wet wall. The shower pan was too big so they tried to shimmy it into place with spacers leaving a gap for water to run to the slab. They failed to even get the drywall they put in within 1/4 inch of the shower pan so they had another guy come out and move the drywall. This guy had a bad attitude and moved it so the holes didn't align with the shower fixtures. At this point we were fed up and fired Bath Fitters from the job. After doing some more research we found Green Bay Remodeling on Yelp. They had a great reputation so we called up Zach and asked for a quote. His quote was reasonable so we said your hired! What came next we didn't expect. Zach went to the permit office the same day we hired him to finalize the permit. We didn't think it would happen this fast. The next day he showed up with all the materials. The third day the workers came to start the job. They were very polite and took great care to keep the house clean of dust from the construction. They always showed up on time and ready to work hard. The bathtub and shower tiles were installed in less than a week and they passed all their inspections with flying colors. We are so happy that we finally get to take a shower after 5 months of waiting for the previous vendor to not complete the job. I would recommend Zach and Green Bay Remodeling to anyone I know. They were the best contractors I have worked with and I trust them fully. For our next project I will definitely call Zach at Green Bay Remodeling to work on the job.

    America's Dream HomeWorks
Where to begin? Every phase of my project was excellent! I guess I can start at the beginning but leaving the best for last: First, Alex came by to measure the counter top area in the kitchen. High tech stuff and the quartz top fit perfectly when installed! They installed my sink, faucet, disposal, and dishwasher. Then, Vlad painted the entire inside of the house with 7 colors used throughout the house! Perfect trim work! Next, Merab and Vlad put up the oak window trim and did perfect sealing work around the wall and trim. The downstairs bathroom needed ceiling work done and Vlad more than met the challenge. Merab and Vlad cut the interior and exterior oak doors, stained them, and were put up in the new door frames. A hall fan was adjusted to the correct spacing. Special cuts of wood were made and stained throughout the house. The upstairs bathroom was done so beautifully with new mirror, toilet, shower doors and floor tile. Vlad did most of the work of this project and you would be lucky to have him working on your house project. Viktar the foreman is the one who brought all of these wonderful craft persons together to create the magic. Anastasiya is the project manager from heaven. Her attention to detail is extraordinary and was vital to the success of this project. Finally, none of this would have happened if it wasnt for Rob Rathbun, the Senior Design Consultant of Americas Dream Home Works. It was because of him that this project happened at all. He listened carefully to what I wanted to do room by room. Then he would tell me what would and what wouldnt work within the budget or structurally. Rob is a godsend! He is the perfect first representative to meet from this wonderful, professional, company. Top notch artists of their crafts, and the paper side of the company is right there with them. I cannot say enough about all the people at ADHW. Alex, Vlad, Merab, Viktar, Anastasiya, and of course, Rob! You wont be disappointed! I am a very tough customer to please and theyve earned a 10 out of 5 rating! I wish I could write more to tell all what a pleasure it was to work with Americas Dream Home Works! Thank you so much! Make sure you ask for Rob to be completely satisfied with the first representative you meet of this wonderful company!

    Everlast Construction
Extremely happy with the results of my two bathrooms. This was our first bathroom remodel, so I had a lot of questions. The team were super patient and walked me through every step. And if I had some minor changes during the project, they were very cooperative and accommodating. More importantly, when they do projects, their team came in and work through the timeline diligently. In the past, I've had other contractors trying to juggle 5 jobs at once, not tell me, and it delays my projects. Whereas, they came in and told me X weeks and completed it within that timeframe. So our entire remodel only took 3 weeks and even sent a cleaning crew on the last day.. We cant say enough good things about them .Price was even better than the big guys. Thank you , never thought I would enjoy a remodel project but I really can honestly say I had no stress..Great company!

S&L helped make my dream bathroom come to life! Lumina took my tiny, dated 1978 master bath and transformed it into a sanctuary. We needed to get the master bathroom remodeled and floors redone from carpet to laminate. This was my major contractor renovation experience. I was apprehensive based on the horror stories I've heard about contract jobs. I did not have any of those problems with this project. My project manager explained the paperwork, what to expect, and broke down the costs upfront. Respectful, kind, pleasant to deal with and truly wanting to do everything he could to make things perfect. The end product is beautiful! It really is a vision come alive. Big thanks to the crew and Al for their professionalism.
