    She listens and she tries to take care of the problem. A lot of them say "that will go away" or "oh yea everybody has allergies right now". She tries to deal with the problem at hand. We have a couple of doctors and me and my husband were talking about, we don't hardly see them. The nurse comes in, the doctor sticks his head in and the nurse goes out. Then we have a $160 bill and I am thinking I didn't even see the guy for 2 minutes. I have daughter in laws, and you don't know a lot. You need information and someone to talk to you and say a good thing to try might be this, or try that, or don't continue to do that it's not the best thing you can do. You need information. The visit is usually 10 or 15 minutes, but it depends. It's 10 minutes if it's just a check up, 15 if it's a sore throat, or ear aches or you need moles removed or something.

    I saw him probably three months ago.  I liked everything it's just I'm still having terrible arthritis in my back.  I just wish that there was some way that I could alleviate that other than taking pills but that's the nature of the game.  That's what happens when you're x amount of years old.   I had very good interactions with him and actually after I saw him I saw his PA so I really didn't see him after the surgery except for post op.  The facility is superb, A1 because they moved into a new building in a new area.  They could do nothing better because I don't expect to have anymore back surgeries done so every now and then have me come in to see how I am doing.

    .I have Bipolar Disorder, Type II. I was treated by Dr. Chann for 4-5 years. I did improve during that period, but had a setback after a Brand-name medication I was taking became a generic. I took the generic for about 6 months and really declined. Dr. Chann blamed my symptoms on me and suggested I had a personality disorder, becoming angry and impatient with me.     Dr. Jeff and his staff are amazing!  We've been going here for years and absolutely love it.  We refer friends here when they ask because Dr. Jeff and his staff always take care of you, and do so with a smile.  As a bonus, they always have flowers available if you'd like to take one home after your cleaning or other procedure.

    I have been a client here about 8 years. The skill of the opticians varies from good to excellent, but they have some that are extremely skilled in getting accurate measurements for fitting progressive lenses. The feedback from the optician on pros and cons and discussing prices for frames is very helpful. Now that there are "digital", as well as traditional progressive lenses, I was helped with the pro/cons of using cheaper traditional lenses vs digital lenses, which I have for my clear everyday progressives. The ability of the opticians to spot why my glasses aren't sitting correctly or "just don't fee' right" is very helpful as I've been to many opticians since I've been wearing glasses since 1960. It really makes a difference when ALL the fitting measurements are done correctly and with care.

    My one frustration is that my prescription cannot be done in-house (that's been true all my life), so I have to wait up to 3 weeks to get my new glasses.

    I have been generally really happy with Dr. Stocks and his office. When I first went I mentioned Angie's List and he was intrigued but unaware he was listed here! All my interactions with staff have been very good, until time for billing for this last appliance. I paid the down payment they requested and then waited for my insurance EOB to come back, which was near the end of January. My February billing from their office apparently included a late charge of $5; however for some reason this bill was lost in the mail. When I received the March bill, there was a total of $10 in late fees. I wrote the office asking why they charged me a late fee with the FIRST bill after the EOB was received. They agreed to take one of the $5 charges off the bill. I have been very happy with this office until now; however, if their practice continues to be to charge a late fee with the first bill after EOB was received, I will be looking elsewhere in the future.
