AAmerica's Dream HomeWorksWe want to thank you for the fantastic job you did remodeling our master bathroom these past three weeks. Considering all of the work that was required we couldn't believe that it could be done so quickly. But it was! Your team was absolutely amazing from the very first time they showed up through the last minute they were here. Always on time and ready to dig in every day. Their skill, experience and coordination between themselves and with us made for a smooth and efficient process. They were professional and courteous each and every day and kept the work-site clean and hazard free. We really appreciate their concern and efforts to make us 100% happy and would be pleased to recommend them and Dream Home Works to our friends, neighbors and family. Again, we sincerely thank you for a job well done!- Charles R.

ADependable Rooter and PlumbingSame day service of a leaky toilet. Our technicians were personable and professional. They explained what needed to be done and completed the job in a timely manner. In these Covid times, they had masks, wore gloves and had booties for their shoes. I would hire Dependable Rooter & Plumbing again if needed.- Rachel P.

ASHEcan2SheCan2 is awesome. We have hired them for two different jobs now. Most recently we remodeled our master bathroom upstairs. They removed an old jacuzzi tub, tiled the floor to match the extending tile, and installed a new free standing tub. It turned out perfectly. Kim was very responsive with getting us an estimate and schedule, and Steve did a phenomenal job on the remodel (great attention to detail). We also appreciated how well Steve cleaned up the work area at the end of each day since we were still using the bathroom in the evenings. We will definitely use SheCan2 next time we have a project around the house!- Austin P.

FWish I could give 0 Stars! In the late summer of 2015 I had J R Putman replace my air handler and coil on my home HVAC system. They measured the system and inspected the ducts and checked everything prior to install and again after. The system worked fine in cooling mode, it's a heat pump system. When it got cold and we switched it to heating mode, the condenser would shut down after running for a short period of time. We called J R Putman back out and they said that the condenser was shutting down on a high pressure safety shut off. The technician recommended replacing the board on the system. A couple days, and a couple hundred dollars later, the repairs were complete and the system continued to shut down in the same manner. We attempted several more parts replacements for several hundreds of dollars more and several weeks, all to no avail or change in the issue. At this time I was so frustrated that I demanded J R Putman honor their satisfaction guarantee and remove their equipment from my house and give me a full refund. They refused and insisted that I needed to replace my 5 year old condenser. After arguing with them for a month, all while heating my house, in December, with the emergency heat mode (about $1000 in electric bill), I finally submitted to their demands. They did take the cost of the replacement parts that I had already paid for, off the cost of the new condenser. By mid January of 2016, they replaced the condenser, after I payed over $5,000, and nothing changed. They new condenser would shut down on a high pressure shut off after a short period of time. J R Putman eventually sent their service manager out to examine the system and ultimately determined that they had sized the system wrong from the very start and created a static issue due to an undersized "mixing box." A $15 cardboard box was the solution to a problem that J R Putman created that ultimately cost me $6,000-$7,000. Now, slightly less than 5 years later the TXV valve on the condenser they installed, has failed and needs to be replaced. The condenser is a Train unit that is known for TXV valves going bad and probably the reason why J R Putman no longer uses Train and switched to Lennox. I contacted J R Putman about warrantying the issue. They said the part is covered under the manufacturer's warranty but because the labor warranty just expired and I didn't maintain a service contract with them, they would not cover the labor for the repair. They quoted me $1200 for the labor on the repair of a condenser they forced me to purchase because of a mistake they made, because I didn't allow them to continue to rip me off by paying them for a service contract! Unbelievable.

FNot an honest company, technician Jame did not perform the work order which was to fix the broken pipe and install the clean out as he has promised when we spoke on the phone. The cost for the work was $1200. The broken pipe happen to be a damaged baffle in a septic system. Instead of fixing the pipe, James was just recommend unnecessary work that does not solve my broken pipe problem. He ended up recommend digging around the septic and call it a change in work order. Have us signed a blank sheet of change in work order. Our broken pipe hasn’t been fix nor the installation of a clean out was perform. We ended up with a bill of $1200 just to expose the dirt. That price is not even including the backfill. Thank god I did not ask them to backfill. I can’t imagine another $1200 for the backfill!! We had to called a licensed Septic company and they charge $350 to expose and backfill. We Had them install a baffle and backfill for $900. These company is a scam, misleading to try to make end meat and scam you out of your money. Remember they will not fix your work order and will left you with a outrageous bill!!! Would not recommend to anyone!!!

AGreat. I needed to have the fitting on the gas line that comes out of the wall updated to be used with a new range and oven. It's an older home and the existing gas line fitting would not work with the new range. The work was completed quickly and correctly -- and that was terrific. And yet, that wasn't the whole value play for me. This range was being installed on December 23 and that's when the problem was found. Facing a Christmas with no range and oven was a real possibility and yet, not surprisingly, it was very difficult to find someone who could address this quickly. The fix was known to be easy yet availability was the problem. And, in fact, I had struck out after calling a half dozen firms on Angie's list trying to find someone who could do this. When I called Armstrong it was the same story: It would be several days before they could get someone out to address the issue. Yet, when I explained the impact of that, the woman from Armstrong services was extremely sensitive to the situation and reworked her tech schedule of get someone in to get it done that day -- within a couple of hours of my request. It's not an exaggeration to say that she saved Christmas. After this experience, I would highly recommend Armstrong.

FThis was my worst nightmare. They opened up the walls to the crawl space and rats got in my house. Even though they repipe the whole house, they didn’t clean out the faucet filters until I requested that they be fixed so they flow like they did before the repipe. I was told that wasn’t part of the repipe but eventually they agreed to ‘see what they could do’. They never did get the bathtub faucet and shower fixed, so water still comes out of the shower when the bathtub faucet is turned on. They also installed a water heater outside and failed the inspection because the foundation for the water heater wasn’t up to code. They did the bare minimum to get it to pass inspection, but I was not happy with it. I contacted another contractor who reinstalled it on a cement foundation with appropriate ventilation. I was extremely unhappy with their work and every time I questioned anything, I was told that is they way they do it and no one else complains. Luckily the building inspector agreed with me, but the work was still substandard, even after they ‘fixed it’. I have never had a rat or mouse problem until the repipe. They sealed the holes they made and sealed the rat in my house. It took me weeks to catch it, but not until after it went through my dresser and chewed holes in my wool sweaters.

COak called 2nd but came next day/ UN-prepared to do either repair or water test (requested on phone) or even replace with ready new ADA toilet that the lying receptionist booker said they have “some in stock and if not he will show a catalog of choices”. Guy came punctually with Nzo tools or appliances Or knowledge of what I asked for as an “URGENT repair/replace”. See ABC review same call. Not quite as bad as them doing same since we also still have broken HVAC too, both said they would fix ( I bought gasket already, they could have put in) or replace if they brought new toilet. Problem is not in water pipes except they need testing for lead - both said they would do this too - when I asked oak re taking a sample, how long sitting in pipes? He wiped off his soda water bottle and asked “which pipes?” !!
