    Excellent- even though I didn’t provide the correct part number prior to the appointment, Scott was able to troubleshoot and help us narrow down the possible issues. We were hesitant to use a video chat for repair work, but Scott was very knowledgeable, communicated well, and provided expert advice. We will not hesitate to use these services again.

    Outstanding customer service doesn't get any better than this! Our refrigerator was broken when we opened it in the morning. I called 10x before their opening hours and Boris answered his phone. Will you be home in the next hour? he asked, and he arrived within the hour. He was wearing a mask when he came to the door and took off his shoes before entering. He quickly got to work and discovered the problem. He had a replacement fan in his truck and quickly installed it. We had additional issues that would need be addressed later, but he patched those up as well as he could.

    The office responded immediately to my email asking for information. They sent Otavio out who was polite, professional, and carefully COVID-19 safe. He diagnosed the problems and returned in less than a week to install a new icemaker and water valve. The price was acceptable, and the invoice itemized each item, which I appreciated. So far, so good - we have ice!

    Too bad there is no "A+++" rating button, because this transaction exceeded my wildest expectations. I had called a couple other repair services, but only got the answering machine with a promise to call back shortly if I left my info. I waited several hours, but never heard back from anyone. Then I called Luan (who actually answered the phone himself!) I explained my refrigerator problem, and he said he'd be there in an hour and half. He arrived 55 minutes later, assessed the issue, and said he could fix it in a hour and a half for $195. I agreed, and he went to work. An hour later, he had my appliance running like new. All of this in strict compliance with COVID-19 business and personal restrictions. I am truly grateful for the experience.

    Alex, the service technician was great. he explained and showed me the problem of the blocked frozen lines. told me what needed to be done and quoted a price. Initially I was a little disappointed since my call was directly forwarded to Zuta from Berkeley Appliance Repair without my knowledge. I questioned whether the 5* reviews were theirs or for BAP. They reassured me that they were getting all referrals from BAP in Berkeley and had me check Angie's and Yelp which confirmed Zuta's reputation. they did an excellent job and I will definitely keep their numbers for any other household repairs. It turns out that BAP is a call center only not an actual business

    Chris C was very knowledgeable, patient, professional, and friendly. The only thing that could have made it better is if we had checked the motor board for scorch marks during the first call, rather then trying out central control board replacement. That would have saved a couple of weeks. But I learned an awful lot from Chris that i would have never learned on my own. It was well worth the money.
