    APCO Appliance & Air
APCO provided excellent service. Very timely and reasonable repair. The receptionist always called before the repair person arrived, which was a nice touch. The repair person was friendly and did a great job explaining the work that needed to be done. Highly recommended!

    Sears Appliance Repair
Sears appliance repair service quoted $65 for a service call and diagnosis for a nonworking dishwasher. This price was confirmed online when the service call was scheduled. When the technician arrived he diagnosed the problem as a lock button inadvertently pushed on the front of the dishwasher. NO REPAIR WAS NEEDED. He pushed the button to unlock it, and then left, but instead of charging me $65 he charged $95.20. I objected, so he told me he was applying some phony ?coupon,? but he insisted my total was $95.20, so I paid it, then called Sears afterward. Sears maintains that pushing the correct button constitutes a repair. I disagree completely - this constitutes FALSE ADVERTISING! He made a diagnosis, but there was no repair, therefore no labor involved. DO NOT USE SEARS HOME SERVICES FOR APPLIANCE REPAIR ? THEY ARE DISHONEST!

    APCO Appliance & Air
Dave came out to diagnose the problem with our refrigerator (GE Monogram) within a day of calling APCO.  He was thorough in checking everything.  After assessing that the main control board was out, he called his office to order the part.  Before he was even out the door, Connie from the office called to provide the cost and availability of control board, which was available the next day.  We scheduled an appointment for Dave to return and replace the board.
Dave was very thorough, responsive, professional, and extremely personable.  He always called about a half hour before arriving as well as being well within the scheduled time slot.  He was great at explaining the problem with the fridge as well as making sure that everything was okay before he left.  I have no hesitation recommending APCO and will use them in the future when necessary.

    Cagle's Appliance
My microwave stopped working completely and I was afraid I would have to buy a new one, despite the fact it was less than 2 years old.  I originally called a handy man, but he said he did not work on microwaves. The Cagle's technician came, took it down, fixed the problem and put it back up.  He was also very sweet to my dog!  I was thrilled I didn't have to  buy a new microwave because I use it daily!

    AARS Appliance Repair
I called after hours about my dishwasher that was not draining. Craig called me back the next morning and fit me into his schedule on short notice. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. He saved me the cost of purchasing a brand new appliance. It doesn't get any better than that.

Had freezer with $250 worth of food, thawing.  Serviceman replaced compressor relay in 5 minutes and was gone in 10.  ALL WITHIN 45 MINUTES OF ORIGINAL CALL FOR SERVICE to CAGLES APPLIANCE SERVICE DEPT.   Unbelievable service at what I consider an EXCELLENT PRICE, including urgent home service call, part, and labor. . And a friendly and very pleasant and professional service technician.
I have determined to BUY my next Large Appliance (Washer, Dryer, or Refrigerator) from this independent appliance store.

    AARS Appliance Repair
Refrigerator was hot in some spots along sides.  Called AARS and they came next day during the scheduled time.   Very professions and quickly knew what was wrong and how to fix it.   It was a narrow space, but he didn't seem to have any problems.  Seemed totally competent and friendly.   Refrig. running great ever since.

    AARS Appliance Repair
I've used them twice before. They're good. He wasn't going to charge us anything, but I said it wasn't right to make a visit and not charge anything, so we gave him $29.00. They were fine. They're very conscientious and responsive. They're so conscientious and honest, which really sticks out. They're older guys. They're not young.

    AARS Appliance Repair
I contacted Craig and told him that my dishwasher's motor was sounding louder than usual.  After trading several texts where he looked up info on my model dishwasher & preordered the part that normally fails, we scheduled the appointment. (If the part is not needed, he will return it).  The service call was 39.00 & I had a 10.00 off coupon.  I actually referred him to my daughter even before he worked for me because I felt good about his answers .  Craig did repair her dishwasher and then came to my house. He is on time, flexible with scheduling, courteous & a great guy. Very personable.  As it turns out, he found nothing to fix.  The part he brought with him was not needed, as the existing one looked good. The problem may turn out to be the motor unit itself, which he noticed was a little looser than normal, but if that goes out, he said I would be better off buying a new model.  Who does that? He didn't replace a part unnecessarily, and didn't set me up to spend money on future repairs.  I couldn't be more pleased!

    Cagle's Appliance
When the dryer in our recently purchased house died, I decided to also replace the antiquated washer.  At first I went looking a superstores - Lowe's and Home Depot - but found the service and advice lacking and the array of choices overwhelming.  In our prior community we had used a local appliance store for the service and expertise, and I wanted to find something similar here.  An internet search turned up Cagles in Ontario with great reviews.  While the selection was more limited, there were enough choices and I appreciated the candid comments about top loading low water washers.  I ended up choosing a front loading washer and matching dryer which were floor models.  They showed up to install the appliances as planned and it went quickly and smoothly.
A month later when we needed to replace the high end range, I was at first determined not to get a fancy stove.  Being happy with Cagles', my husband and I went back to see what they had.  I was leaning towards a mid price gas range when my husband, who does most of the cooking, saw the Blue Star range they had on display.  I almost refused when I asked where the self cleaning controls were and Dave, our salesman, told me there were none.  But, as he pointed out, the inside was black and wouldn't show that much dirt!  I also loved the fact that there were no electronic controls, just simple dials, that would outlast electronics.
The range had to be ordered from the manufacturer and I was a little concerned as we did not have a functioning range.  Dave lent us his convection hot plate and that worked well.  He had offered to bring in and install a loaner stove until the new one arrived, but while I appreciated the offer, actually an amazing offer, I didn't want them to go to the trouble and the hot plate got us through.
When the new range turned out to have a small gap between its top and the stainless steel backguard that matched the broken range, Dave offered to have made and install a small piece of stainless steel to bridge the gap, which they did at no extra charge.
Could I have found the appliances at a cheaper price somewhere else?  Possibly, but I wouldn't have gotten the great advice and superior service I got from Cagles.  I also consider the fact that they provide warranty service for everything they sell a tremendous plus.
