Jose was wonderful. He showed up on time everyday, and did a great job. He also fixed my side garage door for no charge. He highlighted all the trim and all the pop ups on the exterior of my house. My house has never looked better! I would highly recommend him, and he was very reasonably priced. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

    Brunelle's Painting
The job went very well. The team arrived on time for the first day of work. The team worked together to get everything accomplished in a professional manner. When the estimate of the work that was to be done was given and excepted other items came up as they were getting ready to paint. They did not ask for any more money for the job except for $250 to cover replacement of bad wood that we missed.

    The House Next Door
A beautiful design was made following my instructions and wishes. I wanted the natural curves of a meandering creek, and it was beautifully done. Both Sammy and Emil were wonderful not only in their professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness, but also in their adherence to detail. They explained everything to us step by step, and it happened like clockwork. We were very impressed with the precision the working crew had from delivering the materials, their work and even their attention to detail constantly checking with us that the plants were where we wanted them, they even planted a 5 gallon palm tree I had and they placed it exactly where I wanted it. The clean-up was wonderful, and the area was left as if there were never there. Sammy and Emil estimated the work would take four days for completion, but it only took three days. That's how tight the precision of their work was performed. Even the neighbors were impressed with the work being done. We've received quite a few compliments by neighbors and people passing by. The wheelchair ramp was as promised. The same pavers used for the walkway up to the house were used and it matches perfectly. It truly is aesthetically pleasing and one can hardly tell it's for wheelchair use. Sammy and Emil worked closely with us and they even found a government program that sponsors drought-resistant landscaping. Living in the Antelope Valley desert, water-conservancy made me realize how ludicrous it is to want to have and try to maintain a tropical rainforest in the middle of the desert. Now my front landscape reflects the true natural beauty of the desert we live in. Thank you to "The House Next Door" for helping us do this, and a special thanks to Sammy and Emil who warmly and graciously held our hands and guided us as we transformed out dying tropical rainforest to a beautiful front landscape. We truly appreciate their warm, genuine courtesy and friendliness. I truly believe this gives not only great curb appeal to our home, but also increased value. We have two more projects to complete we will call them.

    SOD Builders
I have hired SOD builders Company already in the past and I was very happy with the work that they did and the price that I got from them. My last remodeling that they did was for a full kitchen remodeling and it was about 3 years ago. They were on-task, honest, and easy to work with. I was really pleased with the completed kitchen. The kitchen remodeling included new floor, cabinets, paint, lighting, counter top and back splash. While it was a good price and not cheap, the high quality of the results justified the expense, in my opinion.
This time I hired them to paint my house inside and outside. The work was managed and handled by Oren and his painters. Oren was able to assign several people to the work and they were able to work on the exterior paint and the other ones inside. What I liked about Oren and the guys is that they put a lot of attention to the details and they made sure that it will be as close to perfect as possible. The work took close to 3 weeks and all the color combinations and samples were selected by Oren and I had the final word to select from them. The painters that worked at my house were nice and professional. They arrived to work on time and they didnt miss any day during the work. In the inside of the house, they worked area after area and they moved the things and covered them and bring them back after the space was done.

    Brunelle's Painting
Despite no rain in California for nearly four years, we ended up slightly delayed due to rain.  However, Phil kept us updated on our planned, then rescheduled start dates.  The painting happened as described, they kept a neat worksite and tidied up each day.  The house looks awesome, I can only hope it leads to some quick offers on the sale.  I would highly recommend Brunelle's.

Basic Needs Construction & Painting Co LLC

Ed made the job easy because he's trustworthy, skilled, and dedicated to meeting the customer's requests.

I live in California and used Angie's List to find a painter for my mom's house in Maine.  Ed had super reviews so I gave him a call.  I had confidence in him from the start.  He's an excellent communicator and listener.  He understood what was involved and followed through on everything promised.  And...he was easy to get hold of.

His painting estimate was more than fair (lots more scraping and caulking than anticipated) as were the costs for the other items.

Before Ed could begin I found out the house had water problems: the roof, fascia, and gutters had to be replaced (by another company).  Meanwhile, Ed went beyond the beyond by giving me his observations about the water outside and in the basement.  In part, because of his input, the water situation was solved, as well.

After watching mom exit the front door one day, he asked about adding a handrail for her.  He did and she was grateful for his concern.

The painting was completed a bit before schedule.

    Brent's Best Painting
Brent was very professional. He showed up on time ready to work. He took his time with the prep work, He scraped, patched and sealed all the trim. Brent helped with the paint selection. He was very responsive to the small amount of touchup need during the final walk thru. I would use his services again and recommend him highly.

    Painting & Interior Decorating
Started out well, however took longer than planned.  Also, provider made an error and bought the wrong material.  He presumed the old paint to be oil or latex, not sure which and bought the wrong primer.  He expected me to cover the cost of this mistake at a sum of $100 even though had no involvement in the decision error.  SInce he had started the job and I didn't want him to cut any corners, let alone filing a lien, I paid the $100.

Now, they're painting the inside. I cannot remember the amount they charged us before, but it was reasonable and they did such a good job. That's why we're having them to do the inside. They were very much prepared before they painted the outside. They prepped it really well, which not everybody does, and that's why I think their outside paint lasted for so long now. We're using them again actually. They're pricey, but we went with them because we knew what their work was.
