    Jays Painting Service Inc
Hire Jay's Painting Service. I'm delighted with the results. Jay was third in-line during my bid process yet my obvious first choice. I highly recommend Jay's Painting Service. My older (1978) home was in need of minor repair before painting - facia trim boards, small carpentry replacing the trim around decaying garage-door frame, mold removal and stucco repair on old-chimney. Then paint. Jay's team delivered on 2,000 sq ft in just 4 - days. Wash, thorough preparation and carpentry, and paint. Three to four team members on site 10 hours each day. No trace of construction, repair or paint drippings anywhere. Paint results are excellent. I'm very pleased. I had bids 20% less, but quality matters for my investment. I chose Jay's for their insistence on quality paint products, education on the process, consulting on colors and their ability to deliver "Turnkey" services; one-stop shop for complete preps, minor carpentry, and painting. Ability, Professionalism, Personnel and Quality matter. I chose right. Great job Jay. Great team. Keep on Rockin.

Hawley & Sons Construction & Handyman Services
Hawley and sons provided excellent service throughout the entire project. Worked well with the architects who made a few small errors in he planning process. We are remodeling another home and will definitely use them again. We have had problems in the past with lesser costly contractors and all we can say is you get what you pay for.

    Solid General Construction
I bought a $300 value coupon for $150. The labor was included in that part of the agreement. It cost an Additional $225 for the materials and everything was completed the same day. Two gallons of exterior paint matching the house and trim were left with me for future use. The Company was forthright and responsive. Their work was professional and we have no complaints. I will use them again when we have a future need.

Part of my redwood deck needed replacing, but I wanted cement.  Dave Smith, the owner, recommended a finish, design and
color for my new cement.  I was very pleased with the result.
Also,I needed rotting wood siding replaced on the upper back side of my 2 story house.  He did an outstanding job,
replacing and painting to match my existing color. It looks great

    Blanton Construction
This company is extremely professional. There was a home improvement construction contract, which set the full price and described in detail all the work they planned to do. They came prepared with the materials and equipment needed for the job. Our small front area is not level, but filled with small rocks. They had to set their ladders on this uneven foundation. We were grateful that the company carried commercial liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance for all of its employees. We were also grateful to see how careful they were with no mishaps. They completed everything as indicated within the date and time indicated. They replaced a window screen that was accidentally slightly damaged with out being asked and made some additional repair to the siding not listed in the contract, all of which was done without additional cost. We would definitely hire this company again and recommend them to others.

    Jays Painting Service Inc
My husband and I highly recommend Jay's painting company.  We have used several contractors from Angie's List and Jay, by far, provided the best service.  Jay's quote was $3500 for our one story, 1800 square foot home.  The price was exactly what he quoted.
Jay was commissioned to paint the exterior of our home.  We also needed some repairs to our outside beams. We recently had our beams cut flush with the home because of dry rot.  The other contractor did a terrible job of cutting them.  Jay and his team were able to use Bondo to fix the beams and make them look amazing!  We were astounded at the difference.  Jay then preceded to take a full 3 days to scrap off all of the old paint, caulk the seams, mask everything, and paint 2 coats of paint.  We had the house and eaves painted gray and the garage door, chimney and fascia painted white.  I was a little unsure of my paint choices, but Jay assured me that he had recently done another house with these same colors and it would look amazing.  It does!  I love the modern look it gave our home.  Jay also recommended that we paint the gutter spouts the same gray as the home.  They look perfect painted gray to blend into the house.
Jay and his team were always punctual.  They were professional and responsible.  It was obvious that Jay took pride in his work and loved painting homes.  We have had 2 other painting companies do work on our home and neither one of them comes close to comparing to the work he did.
We also had Jay fix some dry rot wood siding to our home before he started painting.  He had another professional work with him on this.  They replaced 6 wood siding sheets.  Robert even had to cut around a gas line and did an outstanding job!  The additional cost for this part of the work was $500 plus about $450 for the wood.  Again, it was well worth the price.
Jay is exceptional at what he does and he will definitely be our "Go To Guy" for any other painting work we need done in the future.

    Good News Home Improvements
The contractor representative was knowledgeable, fully informed about the process, materials to be used, answered all of our questions, and made very good recommendations as to the materials and methods which improved the end product.  We were scheduled for work about two weeks following the estimate, during which we changed the lap siding initially chosen. This required a change order and marginally increased the material's cost.  Fortunately, we made this change well before the work began as the change order cost would have increased much more had the original siding been acquired.  The contractor manager visited the site about one week before work started, checked if we had any further concerns and advised when the work would begin. The crew arrived as scheduled, the work went smoothly, the crew kept us informed at all times as to what they would be doing and possible effects on our comfort or schedule.
The underlayment problem was an unforeseen site condition, very carefully shown and explained, estimated and done with a little delay in job completion.  The work and results were very well done.  The windows installations were excellent, no problems whatsoever.
In short, a job well done with minimal inconvenience to us and a very pleasant experience..

Jeff and his crew were very nice to work with. Work was done as written and expected. Jeff offered guidance in developing a plan to make needed repairs within our budget and time frame. He and his crew were on time, efficient, performed quality work and did a great job cleaning up. Will definitely work with this contractor again and highly recommend.

Came out to prepare estimate and took much longer to get the estimate to us than other businesses we contacted for the same job. But that is the only part of the job that was less than desirable. Did the work on time and on budget, even noticed another small area of dry rot and asked to replace that as well.
