    Joshua's Painting Service
Josh and his crew were absolute professionals. Josh is an honest man who does exactly what he says he will do and does phenomenal work. I have referred him to everyone I know looking for painting. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

    Custom Applications Painting
This was our second experience with Custom Application Painting. We had worked with them originally in July to repaint the interior of our home. I was so happy with the work they had done for us before, I couldn't wait to work with them again. Like before Custom Applications Painting took the time to understand what we wanted and made helpful suggestions. Because they did work on the inside of the home they were able to compliment the outside with new colors that tied the look of the home together. We have had several compliments from our neighbors on how nice the house looks. We will be working with Custom Applications Painting again!

Superior Fence Construction and Repair, Inc.
Instead of a long rant, here are the facts on a gate installation at my rental property. I asked Superior Fence to let me know when the work would be done, so I could check it before they left. They didnt. Heres what I found: 1) Wet concrete was spilled onto the exposed aggregate sidewalk. 2) Chunks of concrete, from removing the old fence post, were scattered in the decorative rock bed next the gate. They did remove the largest lumps. 3) Instead of cutting fence boards in the driveway, Superior cut them in the decorative rock bed, littering it with sawdust. No clean up was attempted. 4) Numerous slivers were sticking out from the cut ends of the boards, a prickly hazard. 5) An foot wide oil stain was left in the drive way. 6) The latch post attached to the garage wall was loose. Superior must have a some good workers, based upon their reviews, but hang on to your checkbook until you have time to carefully check their work. Never pay immediately upon completion.

    Reliable Home Improvement Inc
I called and asked someone to come out and do a walk-through, take measurements, and provide a quote for various remodeling and repair projects around my home. I made it clear that I was getting quotes from several companies, and all I was asking for was a quote at this time. I made an appointment for "Julie" to come to my home. Instead of Julie, a man named "Joe" showed up. He came into my back yard through my back gate from the back alley. He didn't knock or anything, but just came in. I explained that next time he needed to go around the condo building to my front door instead of arriving through the back alley. I went ahead and led him around my home to show him the work to be done. He was very chatty and kept getting off topic and talking about his personal life. He even showed me a video of his daughter -- I'm not sure why. The daughter wasn't doing anything, just sitting on a couch. It made me think he was just really bad at staying focused. All the other contractors that came out for a quote took about 30 to 45 minutes for the walk-through. Joe was still in my home after 2 hours. I asked him 3 times to please leave, but he kept ignoring my requests and just kept talking and trying to write up a quote. I asked him to please just email me the quote, but he refused. Joe insisted on sitting there with his calculator and figuring out his quote while I waited. Unfortunately, he couldn't stay focused on the quote and kept stopping to chat about off topic stuff. I told Joe 3 times that I needed him to leave because I had another appointment that was about to arrive. Finally, finally, he said he would go outside and wait in his car until the other contractor left. (Wow.) As soon as the other contractor left (out my front door), I was going to call a friend to come over and help me get rid of Joe, but I turned around and Joe was suddenly there already inside my home. (He came in through the back alley again.) He never knocked or anything. He just came in. He sat down again and continued working on his quote. I looked at it and saw that he had done absolutely nothing on his quote for the 45 minutes he sat in his car outside my home. He had not made any progress AT ALL. Again, he kept stopping work on the quote to chat about off topic stuff. Then he started quizzing me about other contractors who were quoting. He was pushing me to make a decision right then and there on who to hire. He didn't want to leave until I signed a contract with him. The hard sales push was unexpected and insulting. I explained over and over again that, "I will NOT be making a decision today," but he kept pushing and I kept asking him to leave. Finally, finally, after a total of 3 hours, he left (again through the back gate to the alley). This whole experience was really creepy and scary. Reliable, I will not be hiring you. I put a padlock on my back gate. Please do not contact me ever again. No emails. No phone calls. If you show up again, I will call the police.

    Painting Pros
Jerry was always very responsive. He came and did an estimate the day I called. He answered all my questions, explained how things would be done, ask if there was anything I would like to change and made sure that I understood and liked all that was said. I had some work to get done on the outside which was done in a week. During that time I thought of a few changes. I called Jerry and explained the changes and he adjusted the estimate immediately and we proceeded to set a date to do the work. The crew always arrived a little early. The first day, the house was pressure washed. The next day, they did some minor carpentry repair and some stucco cleanup that was bad when I bought the house. This was work that was extra and would make the place look better. There were other little items that they did to insure a smooth paint finish. These were things that I would not have thought of or just not done if I was painting it myself. They take pride in their work and said that Jerry wants everything right. They tape the area and painted everything except the trim. The next day, the came and did the trim. When they finished, they had me look over the entire area and see that everything meet my expectations. While walking around, one of them found an item that was missed and immediately grabbed a brush to finish. They had cleaned up the area nicely and there was not any signs of paint on items that were not to be painted. The end result was very pleasing. This is a great group of professional painters that are pleasant to be around. Jerry even gave a little discount when finished. I thank Jerry and his crew very much for doing a great job.

    Jays Painting Service Inc
Hire Jay's Painting Service. I'm delighted with the results. Jay was third in-line during my bid process yet my obvious first choice. I highly recommend Jay's Painting Service. My older (1978) home was in need of minor repair before painting - facia trim boards, small carpentry replacing the trim around decaying garage-door frame, mold removal and stucco repair on old-chimney. Then paint. Jay's team delivered on 2,000 sq ft in just 4 - days. Wash, thorough preparation and carpentry, and paint. Three to four team members on site 10 hours each day. No trace of construction, repair or paint drippings anywhere. Paint results are excellent. I'm very pleased. I had bids 20% less, but quality matters for my investment. I chose Jay's for their insistence on quality paint products, education on the process, consulting on colors and their ability to deliver "Turnkey" services; one-stop shop for complete preps, minor carpentry, and painting. Ability, Professionalism, Personnel and Quality matter. I chose right. Great job Jay. Great team. Keep on Rockin.

    Jays Painting Service Inc
He came out and did a walk around and said he would give me an estimate soon. He gave me one the next day, Saturday, and I was waiting for the estimate from another company. I ask how long it would take and he said two day. By Wednesday, i had not heard from the other company. I said that I would like to possibly add doing the screen back door and front screen door and the garage door, and ask if he would like to do that and give me an estimate of how much that would add. The next day, I said that I had a person come by and fix the large stucco area and said it would be ready to paint in after the weekend so i am was ready to proceed. It is almost a month later and I never heard from him again.

    Sanders Cleaning Company
Had shopped around until I found Sanders and felt a lot of the quotes were high or people didn't respond in timely manner. He got back to me same day and explained cost and services well. On time and job well done. Will use this company again and have recommended to friends.

    The Painter
Brian was great. Not only does he have a wonderful personality and disposition, he was punctual, thorough and inexpensive. My wife and I could not have been happier with his level of professionalism he and his team exhibited throughout the entire process.

    HomePRO
I interviewed three repair companies, two in person, while Matt Stevenson at HomePro requested photos of the damage be sent to him in lieu of an onsite estimate. HomePro was the highest bid, but provided the most professional and comprehensive written estimate. My past experience in hiring low-bid, "semi-professional" labor has never turned out well, so I hired Matt based on positive customer reviews and his company's apparent professionalism. The time span between contract signing and start of work was seven weeks, only vaguely knowing when work would begin, until I received an email from Matt stating they were ready to start work the next day. The repair men doing the work were great: punctual, committed, and obviously experienced professionals, ...and the results were outstanding. They took their time, exhibiting seasoned craftsmanship, and I was delighted how well the job turned out. I would hire HomePro again, and I highly recommend them.
