    Optimal Solutions Inc.
The owner and crew were VERY respectful, VERY professional and VERY courteous. In a day an age when the above is not the norm, it was refreshing to deal with people that realize they are going into someones home and not a "normal" workspace. I would recommend them to anyone for any job. I'm glad our paths crossed.

Jon Ray was great to work with. This was a very difficult, emotional project. The house was built in 1937 and of course, was painted with lead paint that was the norm back then. Due to inferior prep work on the previous painting job, paint was peeling on all surfaces. The City cited the garage and the old paint had to removed using the new EPA methods for safe lead paint removal practices. Jon was patient and went over and beyond to make sure all work was done to the letter of the law. The work was done quickly and cleanly and passed inspection from the City. Many older houses are going to require safe leadp paint removal services in the future and I would highly recommend PaintGreen to provide that service.

    Otis Merry Painting
We got several bids for exterior painting and stucco repair. We were encouraged by the positive reviews of Otis Merry Painting that we read on Angie's List. Otis Merry contacted me quickly after my initial contact. He came out to the house and spent a lot of time with us discussing how his company would handle the job of painting our house. He answered all of our questions, especially how to deal with the lead paint testing. He provided us with a reasonable quote in just a few days. We were very impressed with his professionalism. Otis also informed us that he was a colorist and he provided a lot of guidance in helping us choose the right colors for our house. He listened to our desires and concerns and then suggested a color pattern to us. Otis Merry and his crew were extremely easy to work with. They conducted themselves in a professional manner. They were courteous, responsible, and cleaned up their work area each day. We would not hesitate to use Otis Merry Painting for other projects and we highly recommend them if you need some painting done.

    Palm Restoration Inc
The project was completed on-time and under budget. I could not be happier with Palm Restoration. There team of guys are friendly respectful and will not disappoint. There quality and working knowledge is obvious.  From start to finish they are by far a step above other contractors I have used. I recommend giving them a call before before deciding on any construction project in your home.

    VM3 Environmental, Inc.
Andy was extremely professional and very helpful. He arrived on time, spent a lot of time at the residence going through the attic, the crawlspace, and everywhere in the house inspecting for mold and water damage. Previously we had asked our home inspector to take some mold samples as a screening measure. The results came back as inconclusive - there might be a problem, or there might not. Andy discovered that there was indeed water hiding in the living room wall, and that this water damage was most likely the source of the mold we found. His report was both highly detailed and easy to understand. He gave us multiple recommendations for remediation companies - Andy does not do remediation as he (and many good environmental inspectors) consider it a conflict of interest. We did not end up buying the house, but the next time we need an inspection we would certainly use Andy again. And this time we would have him take the initial samples - his price for this was lower than our home inspector's.

Andy (the owner) collected two indoor samples, which thankfully showed no indication of mold growth originating inside our home. He was prompt, arriving right at our appointment time. Also, completely professional. He got back to us quickly with the results. Would definitely use VM3 again.

They sealed off the house very well. They worked very hard, it was very difficult work, and they cleaned up and cleared up everything, and they got the work done in a very short time. They did the work very well, and I passed the lab tests.

This work was done in conjunction with a flood restoration service. The restoration company tested for hazardous materials and recommended P. W. Stephens for the clean up. Since time was of the essence, I agreed. PWSEI was not as easy to schedule and work with as the flood restoration company (who was exceptional), but they did complete their work in a competent and timely manner. The costs seem quite high based on the small area, but I have no idea what fees the city/state enforce on hazardous material clean-up and disposal.

The gentlemen told me that any company could actually safely remove my windows that are full of lead paint and other chemicals, now if you do the research this is not true. Specially licensed companies actually do this work and are certified. This potentially could have been fatal for my child.
