Very good. They started a couple days later then on the contract due to other jobs I guess but it worked out fine because they finished 1 day early. Very clean and professional and always on time. We especially like the communication.

Well this was completed a few months ago but the owner of the company called me today to see if I could do a review for his company and I'm cool with that as they did an awesome job for my wife and I to say the least. Happy wife happy life, lol.  Anyways out front we expanded our concrete driveway. In the side we pushed hillside back and built a block retaining wall. In the back that was all dirt we did a bunch of stamped and colored decorative concrete and some pavers for the patio. They built a good size deck with stairs and sliding glass door into our upper master bedroom and off that an attached patio cover along with electrical, lights ceiling fans etc. They built an outdoor kitchen with awesome bbq , fridge, sink, smoker, granite countertops, stone rock type body I guess, not sure if I'm saying that correct. Some landscaping, drainage lines, plants and grass etc. If I get a chance ill load some pictures at a later date. Awesome company with good solid dudes !

    Pacific Outdoor Living
I called Pacific Outdoor Living/Pacific Pavingstones due to their high ratings on Angie's List and the description on their website. The salesman, Mark, came out and gave us a quote on installing pavers and a drainage system, as well as doing grading to lower the dirt against the house.  During this meeting, I informed him my concerns were getting the water away from the house and enclosed porch.  Mark did not oversell work we did not need and thought our existing rock wall should stay assuring me fixing the stones would be no problem for his crew.  He promptly gave me a itemized quote which I liked and said they could start within a couple weeks.
What I like about the website for Pacific Outdoor Living/Pacific Pavingstones was that it stated that the workers were all in house employees and there was always a project manager on site for questions.  This was not true.  The work was sub-contracted and Mark, nor any other representative for POL, was conveniently on hand during the work.  I was told by Mark to communicate my concerns with Jose, the foreman, but due to the his heavy accent it was somewhat difficult to communicate.  On the positive side, Jose did have a background in civil engineering and came up with a better idea for our drainage issue than planned but this was not conveyed to us until we showed concern that he was not going according to the plan.  He ended up not having to do the grading that was listed on the contract because of these changes.
In the end the foreman did a good job with the paver cuts, but in many areas concrete was splattered on the pavers when cleaning the equipment.  I did not notice the splatter until after Mark sealed them himself.  When I called him to ask about it, he said that he had noticed the stains but had hoped sealing them would make them less noticeable.  He then said he would call the foreman, Jose, to come and fix the problem.  The day I had this conversation was May 18th and I still have not heard back. In addition, the wall that was promised to be fixed by Mark was not done due to the sub-contractor's team "running out of time."
Mark also admitted he had his own company called Integrated Paver Systems.  I would not recommend them either due to Mark's false promises during the sale process and lack of informing me of the stains when sealing them.

Again very pleased. Everyone in the neighborhood loves it . We had one extra charge that we were not expecting but that's not jims fault so were fine with it.
