    Preferred Home Builders Inc
From the estimate and design to the final inspection, Preferred Home Builders, Inc "wowed" us! Ran, the designer and project manager, listened to our needs, and sold us on the capability of the company to do the job with permits and in a timely manner. He provided a schedule and introduced us to Victoria, who worked in the office. Between the two, we were kept updated on what to expect and helped with making decisions on products like choosing tile and hardware. The team of demolition workers, plumbers, electricians, painters and tile guys impressed us with their professionalism, cleanliness and work ethic. Preferred Home Builders, Inc tore down a tired disgustingly gross kitchen and replaced it with one that is beautiful in design, complete with pretty cabinets, gorgeous floors and feels more spacious. My husband and I were half expecting problems. Going into a project like this, one hears horror stories and we braced for a nightmare. Instead, it was a dream come true! The six to eight week project was finished in five weeks!

    Chatsworth Home Improvements & Repairs
I am a property manager and found Chatsworth Home Improvements & Repairs on Angie's List to do a minor plumbing repair. I liked Randy so much I asked him to do another repair at a different property. Since then I have used Randy to do repairs at numerous properties I manage ranging from apartment building units to $10 million dollar plus properties. No job has been to big or small for him. Randy is a nice guy and very friendly. He is very professional, does work in timely manner with exceptional skill and attention to detail. Very reasonable prices. I continue to use his services almost weekly and highly recommend him for just about any job you may need.

Wonderfully! I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat and in fact plan to when we paint the inside of the house after the bank account reaccumulates! I chose this business over the others I interviewed principally because of the owner, Wayne. He was not a hard sell and he was straightforward in his responses to all my questions. His price quote was not the least expensive nor the most. I felt it was a fair quote given the amount of prep work that needed to be done on my 85% wood siding house and fence and the detail work that I wanted. My gut instinct was that I could work with this guy. I also liked the fact that his crew has been with him for many years which means they like working for him. My instinct was correct. Working with Wayne and his crew was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had with a contractor. I'm not really was. Wayne was there every morning to start the crew off with what needed to be done that day (job took about 6-7 days). His right hand man, Miguel, is a doll. Never got frustrated no matter how many times I interrupted him with questions or requests. The other members of the crew were always polite and respectful. These guys showed up every morning on time - exactly on time - and worked a full day. They do beautiful work, especially the detail work around the window frames and the tiny frames for the 10-windowed french doors of which I have 7. I also had painted stone that they had to re-paint as part of the job and it turned out wonderful. And they also painted my front door and screen door flawlessly. Oh, and they had to remove a rotted piece of siding and replace it. Sounds simple, but the width of wood we have for siding is no longer produced so they had to figure out a way to match the look of our siding. After that area was painted, you couldn't even tell that the wood piece was replaced. I even had a few items that needed to be painted after the job was completed (missed on the final walk around) and they came the next day to take care of it. They cleaned up after the job was completed, and besides the new house color and the extra paint cans and tubs in my backyard, you wouldn't even know that they were there. They protected my plants, concrete.....they are professionals in every sense of the word. They know what to do, and they do it well. Wayne bid the job at the price he quoted and that was the final bill. There were no surprises. He even did extra things that I should have paid for but he did not charge me. He is just an easy-going, nice guy who stands on his reputation and takes pride in the jobs he does. He's honest, bids a fair price, has a professional crew who does great work, uses high-quality paint, responsive to the customer, communicates well - what more can you ask for in a contractor?

    Best Builders Group Inc
The entire project that included so many item at my house was designed and managed by Zohar of Best builders group, with a design that was created by input from me and installed by his several professional teams. The project contained the full remodeling of the kitchen, dining room and living room. All new cabinets (from diamond cabinets) were installed, red hardwood floors, custom cut marble counter tops, back splash, new appliances, under counter sink and all the rest of the items that required for this remodeling project. The entire remodeling work took about 7 weeks from beginning to end and I was able to live in the house during the whole work. The construction teams were so professional and reliable and made sure to do everything according to the plan while Zohar managing and monitoring the daily and weekly tasks and making sure that they are coming out in perfect condition. They also made always sure to clean at the end of each day. At the end of the project, I must say that the project had a fabulous outcome and is certainly a top quality. I don't feel I could have had a better outcome from any other contractor. It was just great!!!!!

Handytech Termite & Pest Control Services
It went wonderfully, and I was relieved to learn that it was water damage, and not termites, that had produced the wood rot. The three workers were very careful in removing the window frame wood (it was very tricky, given that cement was overlapping the bottom of the wood that had to be removed). The remainder of the work was meticulously done, and they even did some additional painting and carpentry at no additional cost! Both Joel (who oversees each job) and the workers were very polite and professional and clearly cared a great deal about the quality of their work.

    Los Angeles Construction Inc
We had a pretty big renovation planned with the complete remodeling of two bathrooms and a kitchen, new hardwood flooring throughout, new double pane windows, additional sliding glass door and opening, just to name the highlights.  To make sure the job would be done right I reached out to a friend for a contractor reference.  My friend who is generally very precise and particular had his home recently renovated, so I expected a reliable reference.  After getting a tour of his nice newly done home, we decided to go with his contractor, Los Angeles Construction Inc.  To get to the point, we are extremely pleased with the process (a five month effort) and the end results.  Now no job of this size gets done without some challenges and surprises, and ours was no exception.  Los Angeles Construction was able to meet those challenges/surprises using their experience, perseverance, and professionalism.  For example, an opening in an exterior wall had to be created for the new sliding glass door, but because of its location the entire side of the home had to be reinforced with shear wall for safety and to meet building code.  The conventional solution of adding shear wall on the exterior side and the re-stucco work was far beyond our budget.  Edan, who was our project manager from Los Angeles Construction, sensed our disappointment and was determined to find a more cost effective solution.  He consulted with his business partner, Nir, and they found that a technology called Hardy Frame could be used instead of the conventional approach.  Hardy Frame is a thick steel structural frame that provides shear wall protection but is strategically placed (you don't need relatively much), installed from the interior, and is nearly half the cost of the conventional approach.  Through Los Angeles Construction's perseverance and "can do" attitude, we got exactly what we wanted and for a cost we could afford.  This is only one example of the quality of work this contractor provided, there were many other instances where their team of painters, carpenters, electricians, etc. took the time to provide feedback on clever design ideas that made the end results even more special.  I highly recommend Los Angeles Construction Inc. for home remodeling, new construction, or any home improvement project.

They did a good job. It was a couple of them. Most of the work was they had to carry down the old porch and stair case and they rebuild that. Everything is well done. I would give them high marks. I got an entirely new staircase and porch.
