My Fiance and I have been boarding our cats with California Cat Center several times over the last year. These people really do love cats and truly enjoy their job. We both feel confident and comfortable leaving our kitties with them, they even know our kitties by name! They also send photos via email of your kitty/kitties so you can get updates on how they are doing while you're away on vacation. The cat condos are a nice size and they have birds that they put in front of the cat condos to entertain the kitties, what more could you ask for?! This place is the best!

    Nordhoff Veterinary Hospital
The staff of Nordhoff Vet Hospital are the best! When 2 of my semi-feral indoor cats got stuck in my attic for several days during a heatwave, practice manager Max volunteered to come rescue them. After hours, and without charge, he came out several times, went into the attic, checked on their well being, and, using Havahart traps, retrieved both terrified cats. For many years, Dr. Popescu, Dr. Hartwick (now retired), and the staff have provided loving care to my many cats (from saving my various injured and sick feral kittens as well to treating the ailments of the geriatric cats). Cindi and everyone on the staff have provided wonderful support, advice, and comfort to me through all of cats illnesses, injuries, and life stages.

California Cat Center specializes in taking care of our feline friends. There are no barking dogs to spook our pets,- while many are already anxious due to being separated from both their owner & their home.

    Pet & Home Sitting
Not only did Karen inquire about ALL our pets' needs & idiosycracies, but they all really liked her. She handled issues of our newly-trained indoor/outdoor cat, dealt with a record-breaking rain-wind storm, & contacted us (mostly via text & pictures) for pertinent issues while we were away. We KNEW everything & everyone was in very good, capable hands. & having her stay nights at our house was critical to the success of our needed efforts... she was self-contained & just 'made stuff happen.'

I would recommend him very highly, excellent person.

He has a sign on his wall which I find it entirely if appropriate which says that in the vent that somebody comes in who has a more serious emergency they will be taken first and that of course is proper. The respect for the welfare of the animal is paramount in area and I agree with that.

This man does not look at your pet as a payment on a Porsche, he does not have one and this has been my experience in the past that many of these veterinarians do that they're in it for profit alone and I feel that these people are not trust worthy. For the welfare of the animal is not their paramount concern, their financial welfare is and I disagree with that entirely.

    Pet Medical Center
My husband and I have been taking our pets to Pet Medical Center Chatoak for almost 15 years. On July 5th, 2016 I brought my cat in. My vet was there that day but not available. I had Dr. Cynthia Binder instead and she was by far the worst vet we ever had there. In retrospect she gave me reasons from the get go that day to either insist on my vet or take my cat somewhere else. But I decided to trust in a place that I brought pets to for so many years. That morning my cat vomited, his eyes looked glazed over, he wouldn't eat. Dr. Binder checked him out, checked his vitals, took blood. She told me the blood work results would not come in until the next day. She was preoccupied with me signing up for some plan that would cut the cost of the blood work in half. I told her right off the bat that my cat had insurance. She said this would save me more money. I wasn't even concerned about the money I wanted to get help for my cat. She asked me twice if he "accidentally" got into someone's sedatives. I told her twice there were no sedatives in our house. She told me I could leave him there for observation. I opted to bring him home. About an hour after I got home I checked on him before I was leaving for work and he was lying in his litter box. My husband held him and his head was hanging over. I brought him back. I told the people at the front desk that Binder told me I could bring him back for observation but he was not there for observation it was now an emergency. They checked him in. They were very busy that day so I left and went to work. I thought they would call but they didn't. I called them. I was told that he perked up after I left and he had food and water. I told them to call me at work if he got worse again. My husband called as well and reminded them that he had insurance and to do whatever they needed to do to find out what was wrong and treat him. I went back after work. I had not heard from Binder all day. She called me while I was sitting in the waiting room waiting to see my cat. I asked to speak to her in person since I was there and she refused. She said that his vitals remained fine all day. I visited with my cat and he did not look well at all. His breathing seemed labored to me. A tech came in and I asked her if I could see my vet, Dr. Belding. The tech told me she was in with an emergency. I asked to see Dr. Binder. The tech left the room and came back and said she was also in with an emergency. I asked the tech if they could at least do an X-ray. She went to ask Binder. Binder told her that it would be a waste of my money and she wouldn't find anything anyway. I think at this point I was in shock. I should have brought him somewhere else there and then. I also kept trusting that they knew what they were doing there. And apparently my cat wasn't an emergency. I spoke to the night vet (Dr. Buffum) after Binder left for the day. I begged him to treat him for an allergic reaction. He said he would. At this point my husband and I were telling them how to be vets. Dr. Buffum admitted later he did not do any aggressive treatment on him. We got a call from him at 1:00 AM saying our cat passed away. Our beautiful, sweet, loving 8 year old cat was gone. We do not know what he died from. We will never know if he could have been saved. And now a note on the careless disrespectful attitude of the front desk staff. They treated my husband and I like pests when we called. I don't know if they gave the vet our messages. They did not take seriously the drastic state my cat was in. The entire atmosphere was chaotic. It's been progressively getting like that for quite some time now. And I wish we switched vets a long time ago. We have now found another vet for our dog. When my vet called to apologize for not stepping in. She told me that the vet tech never told her I asked to see her. It has been 2 months since my cat passed away and I cry everyday and I don't know if I will ever forgive myself for not taking him somewhere else. And how I trusted Dr. Binder when so many horrible things happened that day. My husband and I feel like we took our cat there to die. And he suffered. He lied there all day. I am sure at this point that they put food and water in front of him and he didn't eat or drink. No one even gave him an IV.

    Cozycroft Pet Hospital
We've used Cozycroft for over 10 years. Unlike many vets in the area Dr. Haerther NEVER runs up the bill with excessive testing. He's so experienced he knows what tests and care your animal actually needs, and makes sure they get it. He's been treating our 4 cats, dog, and foster kittens for over 12 years. He and his staff love animals and understand how important they are to us. He's recently helped us deal with our older dog getting diabetes - helped us understand the blood levels, diet, home testing - everything involved.

    Love Your Pet

We have known and used Leslie's expert services for years. I reviewed her on Angie's List way back in 2010, and have employed her services many times since, so I thought it was time for an update.

She is so reliable and so knowledgeable, I cannot think of anyone else with whom I would trust our dog and house. Besides, our dog loves her!

Seriously, Leslie offers the best pet-sitting and even overnight housesitting ever. Highly recommended.

    Animal Attraction Unlimited
Laura was amazing - really nioce and easy to work with.  She gave great tips on training ideas, etc.  It was really a pleasure for both Pherra and I to work with her.
She really helped me to start training Pherra.  After only 3 sessions Pherra was already responding much better to commands and was a bit less barky and was walking a bit more often on loose leash instaed of pulling me
She also recommended a dog training class which we started - it is a good fit because the training class uses similar/same messages as Laura uses.
We are both very happy with the results and the money was well worth it!

    Veterinary Medical Center
It was a recommendation from a girlfriend who has her dog there for at least 20 years until he died.  I was very happy with my previous vet who had serviced my two cats for 13 years, but I decided to try him out 3 years ago and I have been very happy with them.
