    A++: NMNL technicians are available literally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are personable, very flexible and take the time to listen to what you believe is wrong with your computer. At times, computer techs can be such know-it-alls and won't even let you share your diagnosis (after all, they are the ones with the certification and degrees in 'computer stuff'.) NMNL technicians are not like that at all.
    If I could give James a gold star and a key to the city, I would. He worked tirelessly on fixing my computer. After I received it back and told him that the loud noises from the fan was unbearable, he was really bummed out. It's clear that they take pride in their work and want the customer to be completely satisfied. As he didn't make the fan, the noise that it made was absolutely not his fault. Even so, he offered to reinstall another one. In retrospect, I shouldn't have used the same pc parts company. James did everything he could to get rid of that noise. I'm just thankful that I didn't lose any data and my computer was able to turn back on.
    Less than a month later, I received a follow-up call from their administrative assistant to inquire about how my laptop was working. When I told her about the insanely loud laptop fan and my intent to sell my computer, she told me that they, i.e. NMNL Tech could help me sell it. I really appreciated the follow-up call and the additional assistance was icing on the cake.

    B: NMNL Tech's phone answering service and email can be a bit schizophrenic.  The technicians and boss, Ransom, readily give you their cell phone numbers though, which is nice. It seems like they use some Microsoft Outlook Calendar, and they CC you, the client, when any type of appointment has been made. The content of the email is very jumbled and difficult to read. They've acknowledged that they're aware of the issues and I believe they've taken steps to fix it.

    C-: Notes to potential customers: (1) Confirm and establish the price  in writing  prior to anything being fixed and (2) make sure you receive a printed invoice statement. I failed to do both. The entire service, parts and labor included, cost me much more than I anticipated. I really needed my laptop to turn back on because I work online from home. As ancient as my Gateway is, I ended up paying more than my laptop is worth. I purchased it from someone on Craigslist. Had I spent just $75 to fix it, I would've ended up spending what I paid for it.  Because I needed to recover my work files, I opted to fix it. But in retrospect, I'm wondering whether there was a less expensive option to recover this data. In a panic to get it fixed, I failed to do my research.
    I had to keep on requesting an invoice. It was finally emailed after everything was said and done. I'm usually very diligent about this, but the drama with the fan, going on vacation and other extenuating circumstances caused me to drop the ball. They were very apologetic about the tardiness of getting an invoice statement to me, which I appreciated.

    If/when I can afford a new computer and should it ever have any issues, I wouldn't hesitate to take it to NMNL Tech. They've proven beyond the shadow of a doubt to be a company I can trust, cares about their customers and the quality of their work. It's no wonder they're so highly  rated.
