    rubio's concrete
I like Rubio, he has done a concrete floor to cover a large walk in space under house that was only dirt before. I left a review for that project after it was done. That review was all A's. This job was a block garden wall, mostly the work was very good. I just had a little communication problem this time. I do like Mr Rubio and would use him again. I just think he's better at concrete projects, and possibly building block walls is not his favorite type of jobs. He can do them nicely, but I think more attention needs to be paid, just so the project has the desired finished look.

Perez & Perez General Contractor Inc
I came with a bunch of problems and Edwin came with a bunch of solutions. A new drainage system was installed, well below grade. All of my gutters were connected to the drainage and now everything flows to the street. My entire side yard, once a disaster of 6 different concrete pours sloping toward the house, was demolished. I made a rough design of a new patio and Edwin ran with it and now I have a side yard worthy of a magazine. Plenty of drains, proper sloping, and superior transitions to existing, older concrete. The biggest impact came from the tearing down of a pony wall separating the hill from the house. A portion of the house addition was exposed, so they demolished stucco, put in flashing, and repaired it like new. My home, finally, is completely sealed from the outside elements. The stucco job is worth noting because the work is truly an art form. Some of the things that makes Perez & Perez stand out: * Communication - Ranks among the best contractors I've worked with. * Fresh ideas - Edwin is an idea guy, lots of fantastic, smart, and money-saving ideas. * Cleanliness - The workers tidied up each day, right down to scooping leftover rocks off my lawn by hand. * Prompt - Workers were typically at my home 10 minutes before starting time. In conclusion, I consider Perez & Perez to be a tremendously good value for a high caliber of service. I will be using them again for other projects around my home.

    Motto Construction
Motto Construction was a lifesaver! A previous unqualified provider created a leak in my bathroom wall and sealed it with new tile. After I got the leak stopped I hired Motto Construction to fix the damage and restore the bathroom. The damage went through my unit into my neighbors. My neighbor was NOT happy. Motto Construction worked with my neighbor in a professional matter to ensure the work would be completed in a timely and high quality matter. First they ensured the water was dried within the walls and made new drywall and painted my neighbors walls and ceiling. Next they redid the plumbing work, drywall and installed new tile and bathroom fixtures which included a new shower head and tub faucets. Their customer service aspects included helping me pick out new tile as my previous tile was ruined and I had trouble finding something else I liked. I felt like they did a wonderful job and held my hand through it!. Professional, quality work completed in a timely manner. I would hire them for other remodeling work.

    RSD Stone & Tile
State Farm recommended this company out to me through my homeowners coverage plan, they sent out another company to do the clean up and this company came in after to lay the new pave stone. Raul understands the nature of his work very well and was very reliable. They fixed it up quickly and everything was covered under my insurance plan.

    rubio's concrete
Mr Rubio was a pleasure to work with, He showed up at all scheduled days and time and took care of business, Mr Rubio doesn't talk too much but does exactly what he said he would do. He has some helpers, but he actually does much of the work, and supervises the rest.
The concrete was pumped thru a small vent window into a basement area that is approx 175 sq ft. This area was always just dirt that would get moist in the winter, and we could smell the dirt on the lower floor.
Mr Rubio actually did better than I had expected, it was just a beautiful job.

    T-BAR CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
Project went very well. Bob and Mel were both very nice and extremely responsive to our schedule and numerous questions.
They arrived before 8am each day except when when we were letting the concrete cure. They quickly had a crew in to remove the old patio and cement on day 1. They cleared it all out and kept our front yard clean when they were done for the day. Digging and grading over the next few days was a long process. Some workers were better than others. The guy who did the framing for our steps-Randy, I think, was super detailed in making sure all measurements were exact. But a younger worker didn't dig the grading to the drains deep enough. My husband measured after rebar was in and found some spots would allow for only 1 inch of cement. They sent other guys in to re do the digging on Sat and Sunday. Bob said he would have caught that and fixed before the pour but that is tough to know...
After set up was finalized and edited to be exactly what we wanted, pour went very quickly. They did a great job with grading the cement snd not creating any divot areas where water would puddle. Seams were also very nice and done with curves which we weren't expecting but look fantastic. They came back a day or two after the pour, cleaned up most stuff and removed the wood frames. They wanted final payment then but I wanted to wait until all finish work was done before paying the last $1k. This didnt make them happy and it got a little awkward i am glad I held to that. It then it went back to friendly and professional. It took two workers about 4 hours to grind down the edges, patch a few spots on the steps and paint the house where the concrete had splattered. We provided the paint.
Friends and family rave about the work and we will recommend them to others.

    Hansen Landscape Contractor
I had four landscapers that I interviewed. Steve Hansen provided the best overall to me in customer-client relationship, vision for design and professionalism. He offered ideas to help with the cost of the project. The project was done in stages. Everything was removed from the backyard with the exception of five trees/shrubs. The project took about six weeks or so to complete. Concrete went in first and then electrical. The backyard was leveled and the irrigation installed. Boulders were delivered and paths laid out. Plants, trees and sod installed and finally the rock paths finished. Everything went very well. Hansen has been in business for 30 years and it shows. He has everything fine-tuned for the workers and clients. I really appreciated the hard work the guys put in every day they were here. Jack, the foreman, kept me apprised of every detail. The crews cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day. It went beautifully and I am extremely satisfied!!!
