    Build Craft Inc
We have used Terrell on multiple occasions including very large complex remodel to minor repairs. He does excellent work. He is totally trustworthy. I can highly recommend him. He just completed repairs for us.

    CGA Property Management - Roseville
Worst. Property management company. Ever. Here's a summary of the absolute nonsense I've had to deal with thus far. It's only been a month: -Our landlord purchased our duplex from our previous landlord in October 2017. He was literally a dying old man recovering from a severe stroke he'd had just weeks before close of escrow - so sick that he had to have 24/7 care from home nurses. He lived in the vacant unit next to ours and moved in around the beginning of March after being in and out of hospice care. There were a number of things wrong in our unit, all of which would have been disclosed to him at close of escrow. The air conditioner was our primary concern, but because he was so ill, we waited until late spring to try to contact him to get it fixed. We didn't hear anything back. -All of a sudden, we have a property manager from CGA, Chris Airola, showing up at our door and effectively stating that there's "a possibility" that our landlord will want to give us notice so he can gut the entire house, remodel it, and charge higher rent. We're paying significantly below Fair Market Value and that's because the house is extremely outdated and needs a lot of work. But it's our home, it's in a great neighborhood, my kids go to an amazing school, so we really didn't care that the linoleum in the kitchen was faded or that the wallpaper was from 1980-something. Chris presumably met with our landlord - who at this point was in such bad shape that his son had been given Power of Attorney - and lo and behold, we're being told the very next day that this aging man had magically decided to kick us out. Seems to me like that should have been discussed with the individual who had Power of Attorney, but I guess a dying octogenarian is an easier target to manipulate. -When Kyle, my husband, called Chris clearly upset that we were being kicked out, Chris's extremely sympathetic response was, "Yeah, well this kind of stuff happens all the time." He didn't even pretend to care. -At this point, it's June and it's HOT. The air conditioner still hasn't been fixed, and CGA refuses to do anything about it because "the owner has to approve the approve the repairs". Then what good are you? At this point, the only work they've actually done is send us a 60 day notice. -Now fast forward to July. Still boiling hot. My house is 85 degrees every day. The only cool area of the house is approximately 100 s.f. of the living room. My kids sleep on the floor. When it gets really bad, I take them to my mom's or to a hotel for the night. CGA is well aware of all of this and still won't do anything because it's not their problem. And now... MY LANDLORD IS DEAD. The worst part - THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEIR CLIENT HAD PASSED AWAY. I mentioned it to Lexi on the phone and she was clearly surprised. How out of touch are you people? Exactly how would you like me to contact my landlord? Why don't you have contact information for his son, who had POA? Why were you making ME make all these phone calls to hunt down the AC vendor? What were you even charging that poor old man for? You haven't managed anything at that property, except you've managed to kick out a family of five by manipulating a dying man while ensuring the house we've called home for two years is unlivable. -In addition to the air conditioner, they haven't addressed any of the other issues at the property - the dishwasher, garbage disposal, the landscaping, the broken window, the tile that's coming up in chunks where it meets the carpet in the entryway...these are all things that would have been disclosed to them when they took our landlord on as their client. They just don't care. They kicked us out so the place could be flipped, which would guarantee them a higher property management fee since they could hike up the rent, so who cares if my three year old son is cutting his feet on broken tile? I have to make my kids wear shoes in the house. -So I posted a scathing review here on their Facebook page which they had taken down because I guess it was too mean and hurt their feelings. I also tagged them on my personal Facebook in a post, and tagged Chris as well to call him out for effectively being a slumlord. You wanna know how he handled that situation? -HE CALLED MY BOSS AND TATTLED ON ME. HAHAHAHA. -My boss is one of the biggest names in commercial real estate in the Sacramento area with a portfolio in excess of $1B. I'm his personal assistant and the secretary for his legal counsel. I assume Chris thought that there would be some camraderie there because they both manage properties, and he got my boss on the phone (he NEVER takes calls from people he doesn't know, and Chris isn't anyone important enough for my boss to speak to) by telling him "it was an EMERGENCY regarding Rebecca." An emergency? That someone called you names on the internet? Really? Anyway, my boss was actually very concerned because he thought I was hurt or in the hospital (I've had some health issues this past year) - once he determined Chris was actually just calling to snitch because his feelings got hurt, Ethan dumped the call to HR, who then called me and asked me to at least untag him. I did. But the post is staying up. This is hands down one of the most HYSTERICALLY pitiful attempts at sabotage I have ever seen from an adult man who claims to be a professional. HE TATTLED ON ME. TO MY BOSS. Like, did he think he was going to get me fired? Did he actually think my boss was going to care about something so pathetic and insignificant? (On the contrary, we just had a good laugh over how pathetic this was in the break room.) He literally had to review my 2 1/2 year old application, find out who I worked for, and then call him to tell on me because I said mean stuff about him on social media. Instead of just owning the fact that he and his team have completely neglected this property, that they took advantage of a weak, dying man, instead of acknowledging that they KNEW what needed to be done and they KNEW what shape the house was in and CONTINUED to do NOTHING, instead of realizing that I'm at the end of my rope with these people and I finally LOST IT, instead of doing literally anything to HELP THEIR TENANTS, he had a temper tantrum and whined to my boss about it. So y'all be careful. If you get mad at your CGA property manager and say mean stuff, they'll call your boss and tattle on you.

    AT&T U-verse
I was told they would do a better job of training their personnel in the future. I could not get the bundle they sold without paying 139.00 more even though I had the follow up email in my hand that stated otherwise. Three weeks of leaving messages and reps who keep saying "I'm so sorry".Told so many stories and talked to so many people I lost track. No resolution.

    Kaiser Permanente Medical Group
Unlike all other ERs I've been to there is no full waiting room of miserable and possibly contagious people, and no halls lined with people on gurneys. I was immediately triaged and placed in a small waiting area in ER orthopedics. After waiting less than an hour I was sent to get x-rays. Upon returning I waited another 45 minutes and was told by the ER ortho nurse I'd broken my shoulder and to stay put. After another 30 minutes a senior orthopedic tech removed my rings, put me in a brace with instructions, and sent me to the ER checkout window. Also unlike any other ER, this was the last place I was sent, not the first. At the checkout window I was given a prescription for pain meds and sent to the med center pharmacy. I was in and out in under 4 hours, and the staff were all extremely pleasant from the triage nurses to the ortho nurse to the the orderly to the x-ray tech to the ortho tech to the billing clerk to the pharmacist. I've never had a better ER experience, and if any ER experience can be called good, this one was.The ortho nurse actually emailed me a few days later to make sure I was doing well, which I was thanks to her and others' great care.

    The Water Hook-Up
Our water softner stopped working and the Water Hook-up delivered and installed a new water softner in a minimal amount of time with no problems.  Brenda was very helpful and Calvin installed the new water softner as soon as he had one available even though he had to work in the dark!  The Water Hook-up allowed us to pay 1/2 down & the balance over the next six months with no interest.  Excellent customer service at a fair price and a great payment plan!

    Red Dog Shredz - Fairoaks
Red Dog Shredz is the reason I love going to small independent businesses. From the moment I arrived to the time I left their parking lot the guys at Red Dog Shredz were helpful, professional, and can frankly just really good people. If you have any concerns about privacy or identify theft and have documents that need to be shredded, Red Dog Shredz is the place that I would recommend.

He got right back to me.  This is a custom gate and the work was phenomenal . The work was completed in about 30-40 days.  Their communication was fabulous.  Their pricing was $550 was less than another provider we received an estimate from.  They are an A+ provider.

It needs to be noted that when you purchase funeral arrangements you are buying an insurance policy. This is a family owned parlor where the people are friendly, helpful and personable. They will explain things and there is no pressure to purchase. The sales person came to our home to complete some of the details. We are satisfied with our arrangements and we would recommend Lind Bros.
ir pluses and minusesThe error we made tho' was to not shop more than one parlor as they all will have the their pluses and minuses.

    Cordova Sewing & Vacuum Center
These guys are great. Had a problem getting a replacement part, which was not their fault, but they kept me regularly advised. When part finally arrived, they came to my house and installed it. Can't say enuf good things about this company. Real, old fashion service and professionalism that's hard to find today. Ironically, I had found them vis local phone book before I discovered that they were also on Angie's List.
    Am pleased to recommend them.
