    System Pavers
System Pavers completed our backyard renovation Dec 2017 and we could not be happier with the results. They installed pavers, waterfall feature and pergola. Everyone we dealt with at SP was incredibly knowledge, professional, pleasant and courteous. A rarity to have and maintain all of those qualities in business these days. From our designer Lance Alicaya to our Project Manager BK Ammenwerth Adanto and his paver crew to Miguel the Master Mason/artisan who built our waterfall they delivered exactly what they promised and more! They were very detailed in their work, explaining each step of the process, and made recommendations when and where needed. The quality of materials used and the pride in their work is superior. The cleaned up the site at the end of each day. Even after all the work was completed, I had questions for both BK & Miguel. They got back to me in a timely fashion. Miguel even came back to the house for a checkup on the waterfall. I cannot say enough about all of these people. They are amazing! We would highly recommend System Pavers for any patio, yard, and driveway work. You will not be disappointed.

We would definitely hire this company again and have recommended them to several neighbors and friends. Neighbors have stopped to say how great it looks and ask who did the work. Eddie Mullins is professional, reassuring, and knows what he's doing. Love the results!

    Sacramento Valley Landscape
We decided to remove our front lawn to reduce water use.  We selected Sacramento Valley Landscape after obtaining several bids. Jeff, the owner, worked with us on the price to help meet our budget for the project. Jeff did all of the work himself, including: installation of brick planters, a flagstone walkway, decomposed granite paths around planters, steel borders, rock stream bed, a small patch of low water use buffalo grass, irrigation system, and a beautiful redwood and metal grate fence. For the initial lawn and plant removal and other site preparation, Jeff worked with one assistant.  All of his work was done with an artistic eye and an attention to detail that we've not seen in prior landscaping work (our back yard was re-landscaped by another company, where the owner was never present, and the work showed it). We could not be more pleased with the outcome!  The quality of Jeff's work is really outstanding.

Eddie and his crew are true professionals.  The work went smoothly and the final result is beautiful! Eddie is very knowledgeable and provided me with options, and pros & cons, to make sure the hardscapes and landscaping turned out how we wanted it. He was particularly helpful with plant selection and lighting placement  and he addressed all my questions. After the job was completed, Eddie provided me with a quick tutorial on how to program the irrigation and lighting controllers and with guidance on how to take care of the new plants and sod.
I would definitely hire Eddie again on any future work, and am happy to recommend him highly.

Myriah and Steve from Lavish Gardens were great to work with. This job was a bit different for them, as we were working off of a design plan prepared by another landscape architect and I was more involved in the design tweaks and decision-making than most of their other clients. They were very accommodating and let us engage in the process as much as we wanted. The new concrete walkway with brick steps and inlays is unique and beautifully ties into the house. Steve and Myriah left me with full instructions regarding purchasing the water wise plants, and purchasing and installing the drip emitters. I appreciate them sharing their knowledge and experience and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend them.

Babylon Builders - Home & Landscape Contractor
BGL arrived at my residence on time. They had to remove approximately 1 to 1.5 yds. of dirt in order to put a 4 inch base of gravel and sand , then the pavers. They were hoping to finish in one day but had to return for an additional day because of the clay soil that slowed progress. I am quite satisfied with the work performed and would use them again.

    Saunders Landscaping Construction
Prompt, efficient.  Had a crew of guys he oversaw on the worksite and he, himself, was there everyday.  All were friendly and very helpful.  He paid attention to detail and how things would look and oftentimes would set it up for me to look at before completing it.  Never once complained if I changed my mind.  He removed all the sod from my backyard and utilized landscaping plans I had drawn up years ago. He was confident he could give me what I wanted in the yard.  I had him build a recyclable waterfall, walking paths, and sitting areas.  All plants were replaced with drought tolerant ones and he set up the drip system for all of them.  He built me a stone half-wall to separate my garden from the yard, yet draw it all together.  He also put in a round paver circle where I placed an outdoor fire pit and chairs.  I plan to use Jack again in the Fall to work on landscaping our front yard next!

    System Pavers
They did a great job.  The designer that came out had a lot of good ideas for us. They were fast and the workmanship turned out nicely. The crew were very accommodating in terms of working with me so I could add an additional drain. The minor things I had asked them to do they did not charge me extra. I am very satisfied with the work they did and I am thinking of having them come out to do additional work in the future.

I have used Rhodes Landscape Design (also known as Landscapes by Rhodes) twice.    In 2012  I had them do my front yard, which had some interesting challenges as the street is at the top of the hill and the house is lower than the street.   Dave Rhodes developed a great design and his team complete the work on time and on budget.   I have only gotten compliments on the resulting work, although there was some issues with the concrete cracking, Rhodes made an effort to address those issues.   After a couple of years and now that the plants have reached maturity, there is significant overcrowding of the plants.    Some had died and others have been removed or transplants to the backyard to address the problem.    Rhodes could have reduced the planting costs by anticipating the final grown size of the plants.

River City Rain Sprinklers and Landscape, Inc.
I am not very happy with them at all. I am still dealing with them after a year. I spent $35,000 and it looks like a bunch of snakes going through my yard. It is supposed to be a drip system. I am actually fed up dealing with them so I'm going to give them one more call. Two of my trees died because they didn't get enough water. He didn't put the drip system close enough together. He fired the foreman on the job because he said he was taking too long. The foreman said he was just trying to do a good job. I have decomposed granite and it is raised up. I have a daughter in a wheelchair and I asked him about it. He said he would have to charge me more money to fix it. All he does is complain that he is losing money on this job. He told me that he lost $3,500 on labor and I split it with him even though it wasn't in the contract because he was constantly complaining. I had them make the walkway ADA because it was on a hill. They did a good job but the plants are dying. I wouldn't recommend him. He doesn't want to deal with me anymore. The price would have been okay if he had done everything right. Part of the job he did was good and the part of the job we are having problems with is lousy. When they were doing the job, the crew was here every day. When I started having problems, they came piece meal when they could fit me in. I had to keep calling. When I first talked to him, honey would melt in his mouth because he was so sweet. When I started having problems, he wasn't so sweet any more. His crew was very, very professional. I hardly ever saw Daniel, the owner.
