  • Unlike all other ERs I've been to there is no full waiting room of miserable and possibly contagious people, and no halls lined with people on gurneys. I was immediately triaged and placed in a small waiting area in ER orthopedics. After waiting less than an hour I was sent to get x-rays. Upon returning I waited another 45 minutes and was told by the ER ortho nurse I'd broken my shoulder and to stay put. After another 30 minutes a senior orthopedic tech removed my rings, put me in a brace with instructions, and sent me to the ER checkout window. Also unlike any other ER, this was the last place I was sent, not the first. At the checkout window I was given a prescription for pain meds and sent to the med center pharmacy. I was in and out in under 4 hours, and the staff were all extremely pleasant from the triage nurses to the ortho nurse to the the orderly to the x-ray tech to the ortho tech to the billing clerk to the pharmacist. I've never had a better ER experience, and if any ER experience can be called good, this one was.The ortho nurse actually emailed me a few days later to make sure I was doing well, which I was thanks to her and others' great care.

  • We used them for many years and we've been happy with them. They always have doctors available if it's an emergency and if your provider is not there. They have nurse practitioners to do some of the critical things.

  • It works for me being part of the health plan and there are two of them in my immediate area so they are convenient to get to. They are professional, know what they are doing and they are efficient. There is still a little waiting, basically I will go in and get the prescriptions and I'm out of there in like 10 or 12 minutes.

  • Doctor was inquisitive, concerned. Made appropriate referrals which got back to me within a few days.
    Had a couple hiccups which were not the doctor's fault. Surgery scheduler having a bad (day, month, year, whatever) was snarky on the phone and was too busy to give me a more specific answer about when my surgery may be-answer was essentially and quot;I will get to you when I get to you.and quot; Had to call the patient advocate to straighten her out and got my surgery scheduled.
    Also, I am double-covered for insurance and there should be no co-pays. Front desk never seems to know what's going on until I refer them to my account screen. Then...I get a bill from MMG dated for after the due date 7 months after the service was initiated. When I call to have them clarify with me what the charge is actually for, they never are able to tell me.
    The reason I give them an A is because of the actual providers, not their lame clerical staff. I think most medical groups have similar issues. I work in medicine and am realistic about what to expect. I am an excellent self advocate. Anyone seeking medical attention for any concern needs to be proactive and involved and ASK QUESTIONS!.

  • The doctors are really good.   They did a really good and magnificent job with me.  They were very knowledgeable and communicated very well.  I am having trouble with their billing at the moment because I use Illinois and they delayed in paying it. I paid them fifteen thousand dollars which Illinois paid fully and now their billing department wants to pay me back only six thousand dollars which would take six to eight weeks.  I thought it takes me only ten seconds to calculate the amount but they were taking weeks to do the same.  If left a message with the concerned person but they never called me back. I am currently in a dispute with them at the moment.  When I owed the bill they kept calling me everyday stating that I had to pay and I said that I was not going to as my insurance was going to pay for it.  They did not tell me that someone had paid for it from my benefits otherwise I would have continued to pay.  At the moment I am very frustrated with them.  I would use them again in the future.

  • It is the only hospital that I can go to in my group, and it is also the closest one for me.  It was fine and the doctor was wonderful but.......it took us six hours in the ER to get in to see him!

  • The doctors were great. They treated my mother very well and they followed up well. They were all just really, really great. They are exceptional doctors. They have also seen my daughter when she injured her knee.
