Carmichael Garage Door Repair Companies Reviews

"The two gentlemen we very nice. They did the needed tune-up for the door and suggested improvements after I mentioned concerns. They were very professional.
"Company arrived on time. Worker was courteous and finished the job in a timely manner.

I have used this company several times in the past and have always been happy with their work. I like to use companies in the neighborhood to support their businesses. This company was highly rated on the list which confirms my experience with them. "
It went very well. Mr.

tried to fix the garage door but said it would be very expensive to replace a specific part.

He did not charge us for the service call.
We highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.
"They were prompt. The person who came out was able to repair it sufficiently, so that I could manage for the moment, but he told me that the hardware was no longer available for the door and that I probably would need to get another one even though it looks good. He seemed competent, but I need to look out for my best interest too. I would probably call someone else to verify that that indeed is the case because the door itself still looks good. In the meantime, I was doing some major work on my driveway, so I did not want to do both at the same time; I am going to wait till all of that gets done. They

’t specialize in these doors. I would certainly return to them for a repair, but I would probably want to get other information about a new door. Overall, my experience with them was not topnotch, but it was good. As far as I know, he did what he could do. They were very prompt in coming out, but I felt that the work could have been done faster. I would use them again in the future for repairs.
"An appointment was made for the day after I called them. The technician arrived at the scheduled time. The garage door was working well when he left, much smoother and quieter than normal."
"The spring on my garage door had broken in two places. When I closed the door, all the wheels flew off the door and the entire door was hanging sideways. We could not close or fully open the door. I called at 8:30 in the morning and had a repairman,

was very professional and courteous. Great company and good pricing.
"He came out and removed the base of the light to stick the new sensor up in there and rewire and reattach the lights to the garage. He is courteous, he is punctual, very polite and he never fails to follow through on his work. He comes and if it is something that he cannot do right away, he goes gets what he has to get and comes back the same day and does the job."
"The technician who arrived (on time) took the garage door off the opener. He raised and lowered the door manually and said it was well balanced. I then showed him what happens when lowering the door. He then looked at the back of the opener, told me the opener was very old and that the settings for lowering the door were at the

. Bottom line: nothing could be done. I would need a new opener. He also said we had a short in the wall button unit even though it was securely fastened to the wall and the light was fully lit. His manager called about five minutes into his visit and seemed to be asking if the tech would be on time for the next appointment. He told the manager that nothing could be done at my house because the lowering settings were "maxed" out. I was greatly perturbed and let the manager know that we could have saved time for them and time for me if I had been asked about those settings the previous day. I told him that

knew the age of the unit and at no time suggested that it was too old and beyond help. The manager told me I wouldn't be charged if they did no work. At that point, I asked if fixing the supposed short in the wall unit would be of any help. When he said "no", I told the technician to put the cover back. Thanked him and told him I didn't need any further service. We decided that since we could get the door closed with a little fussing, we would just use it until it died completely. Well, today the two new universal car transmitters I ordered arrived in the mail. I took them out to the opener to program. The transmitter program button is in the same general area on the opener with the two settings dials for adjusting the pressure, one for raising the door and one for lowering the door. Well to my surprise, I noticed that the dial that was at the maximum was for lifting. That makes sense because the door is wood and heavy. Lifting works just fine with that setting. The lowering dial was at 5 out of 9. I moved it to 7 and the door lowered perfectly. So what happened? I'm certainly no garage door amateur, let alone an expert, and it was quite easy for me to interpret the arrow down and the arrow up symbols. Could it be they were in a hurry to sell me a new opener and saw what they wanted to see - even if it was wrong? Could the tech benefit from some training? All I know is Delta left $78 on the table that I would have paid willingly if they had moved the dial from 5 to 7.
"We found the company on Angie's List. We personally visited to the office. There we were given a description of the materials and an explanation of the installation process. After reviewing the printed materials at home, we returned and placed our order. A technician measured the door at the scheduled time, and arranged for installation two days later. The installer arrived at the promised time and did a terrific job. All of this was done in three hours. Upon job completion, he explained how to operate the door. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and courteous. So glad to find this company on Angie's List."
"Serviceman came out to look at old door. Told me the same thing another company had told me over the phone, you probably need to replace the door. No charge for the 5 minute service call. Sales manager called me, sent me literature and came by the house at appointed time. Gave me prices for what I wanted which seemed in line with others. Installer showed up at appointed time and worked quickly. Job soon done. Hauled off old door, left workspace broom clean."
