They took humidity readings throughout the house, visually inspected areas of concern, and took air samples inside and outside. They came on a Thursday, and I had a full report along with recommendations e-mailed to me the following Tuesday. I actually dropped of my samples because it was on my way out of town, and I got the report within 24 - 36 hours. It was very smooth and easy. The report was easy to understand. ASupraclean Water Damage SpecialistsVery thorough. Very punctual and easy to contact. I also wanted to have them paint a sealer on the wood when they were done cleaning and remediating the surfaces. I was told this was not something they normally do, but that they would be happy to do that as well, no problem. Would recommend them to anybody who needs water damage or mold remediation. ACertified-Environmental.comRich was prompt (15 min early actually), courteous and professional. Explained the entire process - I like detail...I followed him around and we discussed each of the issues. He made some recommendations I had not considered (de-humidifier, for example, in one area of the house). He also noticed a possible termite issue I had not seen before (we had a clean inspection 12 years ago - time to call the termite guy now...). He was very familiar with our neighborhood given the flooding here 20 years ago, so he is well established and knows the Monterey Peninsula very well. Only issue was the 45 min inspection (small house) for $150, but he suggested DIY solutions to offset that cost....would recommend.- Chris G.

ASeacliff Construction and DesignOur landlord did not want to clean up the mold that was overgrowing the interior of our rented home. The city finally sent him a letter to do something about it and he hired Seacliff. The gentlemen came out quickly and began to diagnose the problem areas, remove the existing mold and put in barriers to prevent the mold from returning. They really took up our cause with the landlord and let him know how dangerous it is to have a family living in the conditions that he had here. They made him understand as a homeowner, it impacted his ability to keep the home as a rental property. The workers were very friendly to my kids, easy to get along with when I had to come and go, trustworthy with my belongings, and didn't sit around on the job.- shannon m.

Basically I learned that I don't have a mold problem (after long-standing water leakage had been discovered in a portion of the roof, but I also learned that the walls wouldn't need to be taken down if there were mold, as the repairman had feared. The gutters were another story though and it did not went well the down spouts were not installed properly. for the roofing I give them an A but the gutters a C.
