AConner's ApplianceAfter the bearing was installed, the technician saw that there were a few other things that needed attention. These were problems that I'd had from day one, since I bought the unit new. After the repairs, my Cabrio washer worked better than new. My house was left clean and the technician was very professional, and best part, on time ( early by a few minutes) to my appointment. Definitely a class act company.- Don K.

ASHAW'S APPLIANCE REPAIR SVCExcellent service. On time for the service. Charged $89 for the service call and $40 for labor in 30 minutes and the dryer works perfectly.- JOHN G.

ASears Appliance RepairThe service man checked it out, found a possible problem that would be expensive to fix, and also found it wasn't level. He suggested we try leveling it first and if that didn't work I could decide if I wanted to spend the money on major repair or just replace the machine. The leveling did a good job, and the visit was only $59 total.- Mary K.

AConner's ApplianceTruly a nice experience considering my machine broke Saturday morning and I was able to book an appointment online for the following Monday. Tom showed up, took the machine apart, showed me the broken parts, went out to his van, installed the new parts and had the machine working immediately. I am grateful that the company sent someone who knew what he was doing, had the parts in his van, and was clean and courteous. Thank you Mr. Appliance.- Kelley S.

ASHAW'S APPLIANCE REPAIR SVCOn February 10, 2012 I called my home warranty service (American Home Shield) to have my Whirlpool Duet Dryer repaired. They sent out Mr. Appliance of Salinas to make the repairs. After almost 5 months of lying representatives from both companies I fired American Home Shield and Mr. Appliance. It became obvious after hiring Shaw's Appliance Repair service as to exactly why I was getting the run-around. The part to correctly fix the dryer cost $424.00 and they didn't want to pay for it. But 5 months!!!! They constantly told me that the part had to be back ordered (3 times), the part was lost, the invoice was lost etc. In mid June I discontinued AHS and called Whirlpool directly to check on the availability of the part (which they had in stock) and to get a reliable Whirlpool repair service. Whirlpool recommended Shaw's. I called Shaw's the following day. Curtis came to my home, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts, (one of which was missing and could only have been taken by a previous repairman). Within a week and a half the parts came in and my dryer was finally up and running. It took Curtis a little over a week to do what others could not do in 5 months. It was well worth the money it cost to make the repairs to get rid of dishonest and unprofessional service people and get my dryer working again!!!- Dorothy M.

ARB Appliance RepairPerfect results with no hassles. Rod Bartz came on time and preformed with no drama. He was an absolute gentlemen. Well mannered, knowledgeable and fair in price.- Gail C.

AATS AppliancesATS serviced my refrigerator that was not working properly. Upon punctual arrival, Adam diagnosed the problem and promptly started fixing it. although it involved removal of a large amount of ice from a very inconspicuous places. All was repaired in a breeze and the work area cleaned in no time. I strongly recommend anyone to trust ATS for any appliance repair. If you think that quick, honest and service with a smile is a thing of the past call ATS and see how it was in the good old days.- Zenon O.

AI highly recommend Box Appliance. I called Box Appliance for a repair of my ice maker on my Sub-Zero freezer and to perform a condenser cleaning. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and responsive and followed up with an email on when the time window would be and the name of the service technician they would send. They sent Rommel who provided excellent service and went out of his way to be helpful, answer all our questions, solve our problem, order the part we needed and made sure we got more than we ask for from his visit. His additional advice and help on maintenance for our wine cooler saved us from a big problem we could have had in the future. I would definitely call them again.

Bwhen tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great

FAmerican Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R.

FThis is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts.

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
