  • It was horrible, they almost killed our dog. They are a mobile service. she was suppose to clean the dogs ear and other things and there was no way she did because my dog had an ear infection. The hair she cut off the dog was in her ear and gave her an infection. We had to take her to another vet hospital and it cost us $1000. She was always on time, I will have to say. What she said she did to the dog she didn't do it. She never brushed the dogs teeth cause there was an infection. She just locked the dog up and did what she wanted to do. Even the vet at the hospital couldn't believe it. I watched them pull the hair out of her ear.

  • The doctor immediately recognized how ill she was and sent me to the hospital.  They were really great with me.  They were very honest.  They didn't try unnecessary things.  That made me come back there with my other cats.

  • I been using Adobe Vet for about the last four years. He is excellent and his prices are reasonable. Easily available and always have only a short wait to be seen. After finding other places extremely expensive, I appreciate his reasonable rates. I also like his approach as compared to others in this area. He doesn't jump to the maximum, most expensive procedures that might be needed. He takes it one step at a time and explains what he is doing and why as he goes. Really an outstanding vet.

  • My dog is a 3 year old neutered male bloodhound who loves everyone but respects no one's space.  I have tried 3 other dog trainers who were personal referrals but not from Angie's list and they failed to make any improvement with this 90# hound. I live quite a distance from Mr. Sharpe's residence so I brought the hound to him.  Within the first 10 minutes, Mr. Sharpe had gently gained some respect from my dog and diagnosed him as anxious which suddenly makes sense of some of his behaviors. Mr. Sharpe first schooled inside his home and then we went for a walk in the neighborhood.  The trainer was giving boundaries to my dog which settled him down.  Mr. Sharpe had me walk the dog in heel and showed me how subtle one could be and still get the dog to respond quickly.  By the end of the hour my dog was walking at heel calmly, sitting promptly when we stopped, and not making egregious errors.  I have booked another appointment and will be working my dog in anticipation.

  • This was the second time we used John and Sharon for our pet sitting needs, and once again they did not disappoint!!
They are simply the best! They provided plenty of TLC to our 2 older labs. They visited them 3 times per day, took them on walks (when the weather would allow), gave them treats and made sure they were always well-cared for.
They go beyond just taking care of the dogs though! We left our house in such a hurry for our trip that our backyard wasn't prepared for the thunderstorms that came into town. Luckily, John and Sharon made sure to take care of our outdoor furniture and BBQ without us even asking!
They always go above and beyond and are so professional and nice!
Our dogs can't wait to have them visit again.
If you are looking into boarding, pet sitting or house sitting, look no further than John and Sharon and Home Sweet Home!

  • Dr. Loken correctly diagnosed an intestinal blockage in our Black Lab, Nomar. He had been throwing up, a lot but wasn't responding to normal gastritis treatment. Dr. Loken then decided on exploratory surgery and found 14" of necrotic intestine caused by a large sock Nomar had eaten. He removed the sock, excised the dead section of the intestine, and sewed the healthy intestine back together: this is a very difficult surgery for a vet to successfully complete. However, Dr. Loken's skill and experience saved Nomar's life-Nomar is now sitting by me as I write this, completely recovered from an illness that's quite often fatal. We feel as if Dr. Loken had hit a walk-off home run in in the last inning of game seven.  Finally, Dr. Loken and staff put a lot of time and effort in as they worked with us extremely closely during both recoveries, which insured Nomar's survival.

  • Their prices are reasonable. I really like their hours. They have late and weekend hours, in addition to regular hours, which is fantastic. The doctors are terrific. They are very caring and thorough. We have developed a rapport with the doctors and the office. Sometimes their receptionist is great but it depends on the day. The staff could be a little friendlier sometimes.

  • Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic is really good. They treat my animals like I do. The tech comes out and sits down on the ground with my dogs and lets them kiss her on the face. You get the impression that they really care about your animals. They're really friendly and they follow-up. If there's something wrong, they call just to check on how my pet is doing. They're just good and I use a lot of veterinarians.

  • I love that woman. My one cat has cancer and she does the shots every 45 days. They do it so well that it never feels the shots, which is fabulous. I have two cats and they just have so much care for the cats. They just love the cats. They treat them as they are their own and they really have concerns for the health and well being of the cats. My one cat is very weak and the other one howls. They need two people to hold them while doing the nails. They don't make a big deal out of it. They are just very loving to the animals. I would highly, highly recommend them.

  • My husband and I wanted to adopt a dog to have around the house.  A  friend told me about petfinder.com, I checked it out and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to navigate through the site.  We ended up finding a nice German Shepard, I'm really glad we went though with it, our dog is a really friendly dog that liked the both of us instantly.  If you're looking for a dog, I highly recommend adopting, there's plenty of dogs that are looking for a good family.
